I visited Fantastic Sam’s in Clearwater for the first time this week. My stylist was a lovely woman by the name of Kay. Kay listened to my wants and needs and gave me a haircut that I could be very happy with. I liked her friendly, laidback personality, and her imagination as a stylist. She is professional and creative. As an older woman with grey hair, she gave me a fun, funky haircut that was just what I wanted. I plan to continue to have Kay style my hair and recommend that you see her as well. ~ Debbie

Rachel is absolutely amazing! She takes time to go over your vision and makes sure you are heard with what you want! She follows your cues while working, you want a silent hair appointment, she will make sure you’re comfortable and relax. You want to talk about life, she will listen and keep a conversation going. She always styles your hair and lets you know what products she uses to recreate the look at home. After every appointment I feel like a brand-new, refreshed and beautiful woman. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Would never trust any with my hair more than I do Rachel. When I first came to her with horribly damaged bleached hair she worked with me to get exactly where I wanted my hair to be from color to cut. Skip a few years and I’d never go to anyone else. This is an update as of May 2024:I have been growing my hair out from the pixie cut to shoulder length now. My previous stylist left (Anna) said she was quitting & moving out of state. I immediately started freaking out about who was going to do a good color after Anna left Fantastic Sams.Before Anna left, she said she thought I would like Kia. I scheduled an appointment & she colored my hair dark brown on the roots and highlighted it dark red. My hair was beautiful when she finished! She also waxes my eyebrows. I have been going to Kia about 2 years now & I will not go to anyone else. She has a wonderful eye on color and does an amazing cut. She will listen to you and make sure you are happy. I think she is off work Mondays & Wednesdays. I highly recommend Fantastic Sams for the great price, cleanliness, friendly staff and how they make me look & feel when I am there!——————————————————————————Previous review 2021:I just moved to Florida from Ohio and I have a shorter hair cut. I am very particular about my hair and was so worried about finding a stylist that would do as good as my stylist back in Ohio that I had for over 10 years. I read reviews online about Anna at this salon & she has great reviews! I thought I would try her. She immediately started taking notes of what I was wanting which I really liked. She cut my hair perfectly! She even thinned it out with the thinning shears just how I like it! I didn’t have her color it but I did make an appointment for her to cut & color my hair in 4 weeks. She is for sure my new Florida stylist! The salon was clean & I didn’t have to wait (I made an appointment ahead of time.) Highly recommend this salon & Anna!

I came here solely because I read the great reviews for Anna and I WAS NOT disappointed. She was incredible and my hair looks the best it ever has. She was patient, professional, and she explained everything she was doing so I never questioned what was happening to my hair at any moment. She asked a lot of questions to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted. I came in with dead, frizzy yellow hair and left with the softest, healthiest, most perfectly blended blonde hair I could have asked for. She is AMAZING!!! I cannot recommend her enough. I had an appointment with Anna today and she was absolutely incredible. She made sure to ask me thoroughly and specifically what I wanted before she started and she did such a good job. She hit the nail on the head and gave me exactly what I asked for in a quick and expert way. It’s a definitely new experience to not leave a hair salon disappointed and I guarantee anyone coming to this Fantastic Sams won’t leave disappointed either. Anna was amazing! I’ve gone to a couple different shops trying to find one for me that would work well for my hair. I’m male with long shoulder length hair. I was scared to go to someone since I thought it might get messed up, but was very pleased by my visit. My hair came out PERFECT! Layered and styled in the exact way I was thinking and helped me get my desired look for myself. I got a nice talk about what I could do to help my hair stay styled, products to use, any dumb question I had was answered and the people here were so delightful. Truly is an awesome place to go to. I have been going to this Fantastic Sams for more than a decade. They have always done an amazing job with my hair, no matter what phase of hair I was going through: short, long, blonde, brunette. They work with you and give suggestions to make your requested style look the best. Whenever they color or bleach hair, they do a great job of keeping the hair healthy and damage-free. They even fixed up a bad cut done at another location for me. I am so loyal to this place that I wouldnt go anywhere else. The stylists Ive been seeing are Cindy and Dottie, who have always taken great care of me, my sister and my mothers hair for years. They even remember who we are, what we do, etc. so coming here is always a pleasant experience of catching up. Friendly, professional, and quality work.

Jeremy did an excellent job cutting and coloring my hair! His attention to details was so refreshing. My hair has recently become very difficult to color. I have had similar issues with two other of stylists. Jeremy continued to work to get the color right even going so far as to bring me back the next day. The color came out amazing! He went above and beyond in every way! I would highly recommend him, especially if you’re having issues with your hair.

I took my son in for a modern kids cut and the stylist was wonderful with him. Talked to him about how he wanted his hair and how was he liking it along the way. Making sure he was happy and showed him options how he can wear his hair. She didnt try to skip the shampoo part and asked me 1st if it was ok to offer him a lollipop. I have been cutting his hair myself for over a year and will now just bring him here and let them do it.

Stefanie has been coloring and cutting my hair for over one year. She just knows what to do every time I come looking shaggy and needing a color treatment. She works quickly and efficiently which is important to me as I’m not too patient when it come to sitting in a beauticians chair for extended periods of time. Plus Stef is always ready for me when I come in at my appointment time! Now that’s amazing!
