AMAZING! Donated my hair for Wigs for Kids with the help of Destani here. She was absolutely fantastic and a joy to be styled by. I went from 21 down to bald in one sitting and never had such a great time getting a haircut. The facility is very clean and well decorated, looks brand new. Both stylists in were beyond friendly and a had a wonderful vibe throughout. I felt they were very knowledgeable and very comfortable the whole time I was there. Im looking forward to going back already!

Ive been going to Leah for almost two years and she never disappoints. She has supported every hair change Ive wanted and executes my visions flawlessly. Whether you need a fresh new color or a stylish cut, Leah is the one to go to. Shes phenomenal in every way. Not to mention, the salon is trendy and adorable and always feels private and relaxing!

Thank you so much for fixing my hair today Janie!I went to a local (very highly rated) salon yesterday with hair down to the middle of my butt .. I walked out with 13 missing and cried all day. I didnt even realize how bad the haircut was until today.. she ruined my hair. I stopped by salty roots in tears this morning and asked if they could help me. They immediately started assessing the situation and they were shocked by what was done to my hair. Janie took the time to do a thorough correction on the cut and made sure I walked out happy. Ive already booked my next appointment and my daughter will also be going there for her cut. All of them, including the owner, are so sweet, and made me feel so comfortable, and as someone with severe anxiety, that is a huge plus. Thank you so much ladies!!

Salty Roots Salon is cute, crisp, and cozy. I was greeted by the Lovely Leah & Delightful Destani. I appreciate that Leah supports Wigs for Kids, as my hair was extremely long & she took the time to cut the length to donate! Then I was treated to an amazing scalp message as Destani washed & conditioned my hair. I had a broad idea of what cut I wanted, but Leah & Destani made it real & better than I could have imagined! The vibe is relaxed & I never felt hurried. Leah took her time with every detail of the cut & blow-out! I could not be more pleased! They turned a hot mess into a lady! There are not enough rating Stars nor Thank Yous, I could send to these two, Magicians of Hair!!! Thanks for Everything Ladies!!!

Leah is AMAZING and the aesthetic of the refinery SALON is trendy and laid back. I recommend her for all things hair. But I’m absolutely obsessed with my HairTalks extension version of the halo, the hair band. She matched it perfectly to my hair and it is the perfect accessory for when I am going out or or I just want luxurious hair for the day. Go see Leah you won’t regret it! 😍🥰🥰

Ive been going to the refinery since it opened and have been seeing Leah long before that, she is one of the kindest and most skilled hair professionals Ive ever had work on my hair. Im a young man with short, fine hair and Leah has always given me great cuts as well as good styling and product recommendations. The salon itself is also so well decorated and cozy! If youre looking for good hair service in Tallahassee, the Refinery is your spot!

I took my daughter Danielle , about a week ago for a hair extension consultation and Leah was wonderful , she explained everything to us , giving Danielle options that she could afford , and even told Danielle since she’s going to England after she gets the extensions , that she’ll research and try to find her a salon over there that specializes in extensions so she can continue having them while she’s there , that meant a lot to us 🥰, thank you Leah for your kindness and knowledge we will definitely be coming back soon
