Existing appointment scheduled for March. However, after noticing a few bothersome spots I called in for earlier appointment. I was able to get an appointment within just a few days. My visit was with Heather Crawford, Dr Hellers P.A., who is absolutely remarkable. Mrs. Crawford is always delightful, personable, and knowledgeable in administering her exam. She gives a complete and thorough exam. I love that she is friendly, accommodating, and always a willing listener and makes me feel confident and secure about my concerns. No concern or question is too silly, or to small to address.The entire staff is wonderful and always trying to be there for our needs. 😁👍😁

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The doctor and environment was so beyond friendly. They were able to get me in the next day after my consultation for my surgery which helped me greatly. The doctor was honest with me about the process which I appreciated and she made sure I was ok throughout the surgery by making small talk and checking in. She even let my mom sit with me so I would not be alone. I have a deathly fear of needles but the doctor did amazing at making sure the procedure was quick and easy.

Would be more efficient if the patient could enter their data online from home before the appointment. With that said, I will be going back because I was treated respectfully and given the appropriate amount of time with the PA. I would recommend this dermatologist.

I’ve been under the care of Dr. Heller going on 8 years and I’m very happy with my care and grateful to be affiliated. His staff, all of them, are wonderful and pleasant. Many have been there as long as I’ve been a patient, which says so much about this dermatology center. Special mention to PA Heather, she is thorough and cautious. As someone with fair skin living in the tropics my entire life I have to keep a very close eye on my skin so having Dr. Heller looking after me is priceless. The office is immaculate and I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes. I hesitated to leave a review because I want it to stay so peaceful there, but I would want someone referring their office to me, so there you go.

Thank you for fixing that and making a note on my account of my specific challenges. That is more than most places would do so I edited it to a 5 star review. Thank you again with your patience with me.I really did not want to give this review. Both times that I have been there I was treated so well with such compassion and kindness. Their practice gets 5 stars. The reason I am giving 2 is because I have a unique job with unique scheduling. I am a flight instructor and my hours for the next day are not posted until after 5pm the night before. Which Dr. Hellers office is closed then. And sometimes that means my flights the next day could be as early as sunrise. They have no email or voicemail that I can tell them about my scheduling and need to reschedule my appointment. I tried leaving a note in their contact us section on their website and was told they never got it so that counted as a no show. How does the failure of your technology when I did my due diligence MY fault? And today I had to work at 8am and did not land until after 11am when my appointment was at 8:40. I was hit with another no show and was told if I do this one more time I can no longer go to their practice. How can I contact you at 5000 ft in the air? I asked if they could provide me an email and was told that they could not provide email to the public and that the best thing was to call. Or I could call on my day off and see if they had an appointment that day. I don’t understand how I’m getting dinged when I’m doing everything I can and they are not willing to give a little accommodation for my career. I was talking to Rose and she is lovely I understand she is just repeating office policies but it is very frustrating that they can’t look at a case by case basis for the situation that I have. If I was able to email or if there was a voicemail set up I could call or email 6pm the night before and it would be done! Maybe they could squeeze someone in early the next day. Should I call the on call doctor? I don’t think that’s an emergency. But I’m at a loss and the lack of understanding and feel that I shouldn’t have even gotten the first no show because I did everything I could, their server didn’t get my message. I didn’t want to look for a new dermatologist because again the care was wonderful but I would like the office to take a closer look that not everyone has standard business hours and to be more understanding of those unique situations. I don’t know if the doctor would remember me because I had one short visit over a year ago but I went into his office scared because I had all of these dark circular marks appearing on my skin. I also had other symptoms that I explained to him. I had been to doctors for this issue previously who had accused me of picking at my skin or thought they were just scars etc... I have even been to other doctors after I moved away from Florida tell me the same thing, but Doctor Heller saw my concern and listened and understood. He immediately diagnosed me as having a bacterial infection and gave me antibiotics that helped a lot. He explained to me to use lotion often and antibacterial soap and told me that my dark marks would go away but would take time. Over a year later, my marks are finally going away and the only thing that helps is tons of lotion. Whenever I got frustrated in thinking I was not going to get help or nobody understood what was wrong with me or thought my marks would never go away, I would think of my visit with him and remember to be patient. Thank you so much:)
