The receptionist, a young black lady (I really wish they had name tags) is awesome. I normally have her there to schedule my appointments and check me in. She is always welcoming and positive.Lauren is usually my masseuse and she does an excellent job. Some days I’m sound asleep half way through the session. Very relaxing.

Hands down (no pun intended), Borah is simply the best and most experienced massage therapist I have found anywhere in this area! She has a knack for finding all of the right points where you may be holding tension, and has the right techniques to alleviate that pain. That cannot simply be taught; it comes from years of experience and her incredible degree of empathy. Do not let her appearance fool you! Borah is kind of the Yoda of massage...little and very wise and powerful! I highly recommend her services!!

I woke up with horrible neck and shoulder pain and not only did they find me a same day appointment, Jay, my therapist, was amazing. He was caring and could see my shoulder was locked up and I was in pain. He was knowledgeable and thorough. I left feeling 20 times better. Ashley at the front desk was so warm and welcoming. I have RA, Fibromyalgia and hypothyroidism and massage is not only a necessity, its also a great way to relax! Let me just say that everyone is entitled to their opinions, and here is mine. I have plenty of friends that come to massage envy here on Fleming island and they suggested Jennifer, so skeptical i went out on a limb to try out this massage thing and WOW!!! When i walked in the spa the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere is top notch. I filled out some paper work and had a hot cup of tea at the lounging section of the spa. After a few sips of hot tea my therapist, JENNIFER(I HIGHLY RECOMMEND), came out to greet me with a big smile,and took me back to the massage room.The room looked relaxing, music was soft, ocean waves in the background, very nice. Anyway, I told her this was my first time getting a massage and it was only because all of my friends suggested I gave her a try. She took her time with me(which was great) to find out my aches, pains, as well as how the massage session would take place. Well, let me tell you that it was the BEST and most RELAXING experience EVER. I can see why people go to see her. She relaxed me to the point that i even fell dead asleep, and she took out my knots outs that have been causing me to have troublesome issues in my day to day life. Time came and went so quickly to the point that i didnt want to get off the massage table, but i did. i wasnt greasy or oily, and she was waiting for me outside the room with a nice cold cup of water. AWESOME, I felt like i had a mini vacation(which i need) in just one hour. I will probably try the hour and a half next time....and there will be a next time, LOL. So, i confessed to her that because of her expertise, and how wonderful i felt, she has gained my respect and a fan for life. YES, i signed up for a Full membership just like all my friends here on the Island, hahahaha! They were right, Over all the front desk was great, service was excellent and Jennifer was AMAZINGGGGGG! Great Job :)

In the two to three years I have been going to Massage Envy, I have found the experience exceptional and more than satisfactory. I am so sorry that the unhappy reviewers were not as lucky as I have been. And I resent the statement that the therapists were unprofessional. As a professional myself dealing with the public everyday, I found them not only professional in their public image but courteous and polite. The unhappy party must have been at the wrong spa.

I would like to review some of the reviews. First, the person claiming to be a Secret Shopper is not a secret shopper. To be a Secret Shopper, you must be able to write with flawless grammar, punctuation and spelling (FAIL). You must be able to convey your experience to the public in a simple, easy to read format (FAIL). You must keep your opinions at a professional level; not overrun with personal emotions (FAIL). The only secret shopping this self-proclaimed Secret Shopper has done is down the cookie aisle at the Dollar Store. I agree that the person who spoke of Tamasha (Tamaesha) in 2 of the reviews is probably the same person. I also think that the two reviews in which Jennifer was mentioned were by the same person. Having read all the reviews, I decided to give this Massage Envy a visit. To my delight, the experience was refreshing and invigorating. Every employee I encountered was polite, sincere and professional. On a scale of 1 - 10, I rate my experience here a 10.
