I recently moved to Florida from New York, and finding a great hair salon was at the top of my list. After visiting this salon, I can confidently say I’ve found my go to! The environment is stunning modern with a whimsical, fairy-like vibe that instantly makes you feel relaxed and pampered.Laura, the stylist who cut my hair, was absolutely amazing. She listened to exactly what I wanted and exceeded my expectations. My hair looks and feels incredible!Out of all the salons in the area, this is the one to come to. Loved this salon and my stylist Kayla. Finding a new hair stylist is one of the harder things about relocation and Kayla made me feel comfortable and at ease from the very beginning. I love the holistic approach to the products and this was a huge part of my decision to choose Bare Roots. I’ve never been a fan of the chemical smells and manufactured fragrances you get bombarded with when you enter a salon. Kayla helped me decide in a low maintenance cut that would still look great even if I was exhausted from our high maintenance kiddo and couldn’t put a ton of styling into it.I will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming fun salon environment.

I tried to do a balayage on my hair at home and it was a complete disaster! Kayla totally fixed the color and gave me a beautiful caramel balayage and haircut. Im so impressed with her skills and knowledge. Kayla is also friendly and personable. I cant wait to go back to her for my next appointment.

This salon is amazing. From the first moment you walk in, you are greeted warmly and offered water, coffee or tea . The vibe is very welcoming! Juliana took her time to listen to what I wanted and explained each step so I was never surprised as to what she was doing. She is very knowledgeable and let me know better ways of taking care of my hair. I got a trim and partial highlight. It felt so refreshing. The scalp massage was amazing and I absolutely LOVE the way my hair turned out! She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy as a customer! I would HIGHLY recommend this salon! My experience was incredible and exceeded my expectations!

Omggggg I have tried almost every salon around my area (Cape), for TWO YEARS trying places that blow smoke and really don’t know what they’re doing. Let me say, THIS SALON KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING! I walked out of there a different woman from when i walked in. I wish i still had the before & after photos. Everything from the quality color, the cut was AMAZING and grew out even better. That’s the way i gauge an amazing stylist. When you find that, you hold on to them as if your life depends on it, because it does. I almost don’t want to reveal my stylist’s name for fear of never getting a booking, but I’ll take one for the team but y’all better leave me an appointment slot, I had Betsy. I was very nervous, but i walked out of there fully trusting her with my head from this point on. She could suggest green highlights and i would just put my cape on and let her do her thing. Rest assured you will receive quality services at Bare Roots salon. I highly recommend. Side note, the atmosphere and aesthetics are top notch clean, comfortable, modern, relaxing.

Laura did my highlights and they came out amazingly natural and blended. She did a very meticulous and accurate work, hair by hair, and her technique was great. There was a misunderstanding, as I asked for a cooler tone, so Laura applied an ashy toner on my hair, which I was very disappointed with once at home (it looked extremely grey and dark on me, and added dullness to my face), but after several washes the toner went off and I discovered a most amazing and flattering neutral blond, exactly how I wanted it to be! It was definitely my fault to ask for an added cool tone, whereas Laura was professional and performed exactly what I was asking for. I think most people do not realize how difficult it is to pull off this ashy grey - definitely not for everyone, so be careful with the toners!

Juliana recently did my better then weft hair Extentions and it was life change. I had sew-ins before for length and it use to bother me and not be comfortable at all, not to mention once in while I would have to go back to touch up the sew-ins! This new Extentions are a much cleaner application and much easier to maintain! I totally recommend!

My daughter requested caramel highlights with layers and face framing pieces, and let me tell you, Brandy delivered! Her hair came out absolutely beautiful! The blend was perfect, color went amazingly with her skin tone, her face framing pieces were exactly what she wanted, etc. My daughter left with the biggest smile on her face and only wonderful things to say about the service….and could not stop looking in the mirror, she loved it so much! When I mentioned that I was strawberry blond when I was younger, they said they could do that by giving me the strawberry color with a toner and the blond with highlights. It turned out beautiful. She recommended the best option based on my requests, and we scheduled an appointment for highlights and haircut for the following week. When I arrived, Breanne welcomed me and remembered everything that we had previously discussed. She is friendly and a very skilled hair stylist. I was so happy with my results! Breanne also recommended a hair product specific to a question I had, and I absolutely love it!The salon is clean and inviting, with a relaxing atmosphere. She also talks you through the process of what she’s doing to your hair. Which to me, is very important. I care a lot about my hair, and I know it’s safe when I’m going in to see Betsy.

If you come here, book with Miss Tanya! She’s the sweetest person!! I’ve never had a stylist who actually listened to every single thing I wanted, and hugged me at the end! She’s very personable and she did my hair perfectly! I’m a natural blonde and it was golden when I went in, I told her, I want it brighter. She did exactly that and more! She took so much time looking it over and making sure everything looked amazing. My only complaint, is I wish she could wash my hair in that bowl every day because I almost fell asleep! 10/10 recommend!

I think her favorite part is the relaxing scalp massage in what she claims are the most comfortable shampoo sinks shes ever encountered. Not like the other salons!! This place is amazing!I had lost a LOT of my hair postpartum, over 60 percent of my hair, so it was really thin and unhealthy looking and I was unhappy with how I looked overall. Jackie was very kind and professional, and gave me some ideas of what we could do to make my hair fuller and healthier looking. In the end, we opted to cut my long hair short. The shampoo and conditioner here was all natural and smelled amazing-- no chemical smells like at other salons, and Jackie was so gentle with my hair and scalp at every step. She didnt rush any steps and I felt like she took time to make sure that everything was done right and to my liking. I didnt feel rushed at all! Im so used to being rushed that it was so refreshing to have someone who really cared. She cut my hair in a way that really framed my facial shape. My hair looks and feels amazing now and I couldnt be happier with the result.I will definitely be coming back once my hair grows back some more!

I came into the salon with an embarassing mistake when getting an at-home bleach. From the moment I engaged with Bare Roots, their service was unparalleled.1. They have a very convenient online calendar booking process through google. I was able to choose my service and it shows the prices and approximate time it would take to have the service completed.2. It was a nice drive through town.3. From the moment I walked in the environment was warm. I was emotional and embarassed because my hair looked terrible and I was worried I would be judged. Both of the stylists who were there, owner Juliana and Bethany, my stylist, greeted me kindly. The salon was empty so both of them came to look at my hair when I sat down.4. When I showed them the issue after taking off my hat, which included a burnt off chunk and splotchy bleach all over.. they were not shocked or judge mental, they simply gave sympathy (which I really needed) and quickly knew exactly what to do with my hair to fix it. I was really pleasantly surprised because I have had many hair stylists that are a little abrasive and get frustrated when mistakes happen when people try to do hair at home.5. My stylist, Bethany, was so kind and soft spoken which was and I really really appreciate that because of my emotional state. She was also gentle with my hair throughout the entire process. Juliana was busy with other clients at this point but periodically came over to check on me to see how it was going with the fix and color development process, which meant a lot to me as well.6. My hair turned out INCREDIBLE! It even came out to the exact tone I like to keep in my hair. The splotches were gone. I was speechless.If I could give more stars I would. This place was amazing from start to finish and on top of it, environmentally conscious . Thank you for saving my hair!!!

Tonia saved my hair. I had shoulder length hair before getting a haircut at Ulta I absolutely hated. I lost a lot of length in the front and had a very uneven back. I hated the cut so much it brought me to tears. I booked with Bare Roots that day for a few days later to salvage what I had left. Tonia was fantastic in her understanding and compassion for my situation. She listened intently to what I wanted and helped me through the process to get a cut that will grow out well. I have thick hair and she gave me a cute short cut that feels light. I love the cut so much the relief brought me to tears. I generally bounce from salon to salon because in the 8 years I’ve lived in SWFL I haven’t found a stylist I wanted to stick with. When I arrived to Bare Roots for my late afternoon appointment, my stylist, Katelyn, was running late. I have to admit that I was kind of irked that I had to wait half an hour, BUT by the end of my appointment, I was really happy and therefore give this place a 5. Katelyn started my appointment with an excellent glass of pinot noir and did a consult to listen to my ideas. She was patient and very nice. She took her time with my cut and produced an easy-to-care-for, natural cut that enhanced my natural wave. I loved the Verb products and bought 2 of them since they are very reasonably priced at $14 each. I would absolutely recommend this place for people who want natural looking cuts and like a small, personal salon.

Great news! Your search for a new stylist is over! I had my wedding in Fort Myers last week and was blessed enough to have the Katelyn & her partner in crime with us. They did 4 updos and several airbrush makeups and we all looked flawless!!! Professional, efficient, on-time, very fairly priced, but most importantly they were such a special part of our day. In the moments when I was a little teary eyed, Katelyn was there with a clever joke or a pat on the back, in true wedding stylist fashion! We left our beach house where we had been getting ready and told them to lock up when they were done and came back to find everything tidied up, put back into place, and a sweet thank you note on the counter.
