I was a student at Gulf Coast Academy. Its a good school, excellent in class and hands-on training, easy study materials, friendly and professional environment. I was completely prepared for my state board exam. Mrs.Flow is amazing student inrollment director. She explains programs step by step, answers all your questions in details and always finds time for students. My teacher was Mrs. Brenda Hughes, and she did a really good job preparing us for our final exam and future electrologist/laser tech job. I highly recommend this school! Invest in your future!

My experience at Gulf Coast Academy was absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish, the education and training I received exceeded all of my expectations. The curriculum was comprehensive and well-structured, covering every aspect of esthetics and laser technology in depth.The instructors were amazing—knowledgeable, patient, and so passionate about what they do. They took the time to ensure we understood the material and provided hands-on training that made me feel confident in my skills. The support from the staff was incredible, and the environment was always welcoming and professional.Attending Gulf Coast Academy was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my career. I left feeling fully prepared and excited to start working in the industry. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to pursue a career in esthetics or laser technology. I took the Facial Specialist course and the Aesthetics Advanced Classes at Gulf Coast Academy. It is a great place to learn everything related to facial skin care. It has a great location, with a wonderful personnel, and all the resources needed to learn. The establishment is beautiful and spotless. I was lucky enough to have Chris Turney as my teacher. He is an excellent teacher, with a great understanding of the academic aspects, and he really knows how to explain all the information and procedures in a fun and practical way. He is very professional and thoughtful, always finding a way to help all his students. His lessons were useful and engaging. He was very patient with everyone in class always encouraging his students to do their best.I would highly recommend Gulf Coast Academy, where you can always find a helping hand from all their staff, specially from Flo and Yolanda.

I recently graduated from the medical esthetics program here at gulf coast taught by Chris Turney.I cannot say enough about how great of an instructor he was. He made the class exciting and I looked forward to every class. He was helpful and always took the time for questions and further explanation on any area any of us needed more work with. The only negative I can say about this program is I wish it lasted longer. Everyone there wants you to succeed and your classmates will turn into friends! Highly recommend

Excellent learning environment; friendly accommodating staff; clean & modern work space; a plethora of continuing-education courses from advanced medical esthetics to lasers to phlebotomy and Botox. Flo is always helpful and a pleasure to work with. Chris Turney made learning a blast with his humor, knowledge and experience.

Graduated from Chris Turney’s class a couple of months ago and just graduated from the Advanced Aesthetics program as well. Can attest to the other reviews about Chris being an excellent instructor while making class fun and interesting. If you are on the fence about taking the Facial Specialist program with him, here’s your sign to do it!! Clean, modern classrooms and treatment rooms as well.As far as the advanced program goes, this was also just as fun and informative. Both Natalie’s and Yolanda had so much knowledge and experience to give to us during the trainings and I just soaked it all up. Thank you girls for taking the time to help train us in those modalities!

I loved going to school here, he taught me so much and found different ways to keep us all engaged in the content while making it fun. This school was the best decision I could have made. They truly are passionate about what they do. I had such a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it. My teacher Kelly was beyond amazing and extremely knowledgeable in the industry. Flo would always assist and help the students with anything they needed. Everyone has just been great and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. If you are thinking of getting a license in the field I highly advice you go check this school out in person.

Yolanda is Amazing. She taught me soo much from start to finish of what I need to know in her Microblading Course. I learned soo much and had fun while learning. The staff there is soo nice and welcoming as well. Ms. Flow in the admissions office before taking the course, she made me feel welcomed and answered all my questions which gave me confidence that this was the place for me to start my new journey! Gulf Coast Acadmey is the best Esthetic and Laser school around! The teachers educate their students on different treatments which are available in medical spas and doctor’s offices and they do everything they can do to ensure their students graduate as a highly qualified Esthetic and Laser therapist!
