    Omg. Alexis did my hair and it was truly such an amazing customer service. She was warm and welcoming and constantly asked if everything was okay or if I needed ANYTHING. She told me a little about herself and what she would recommend for my hair. My hair was ATROCIOUS and I’m so glad I took her advice she prioritizes the health of your hair while still trying to get you to your results. She was very real and knowledgeable. I can’t stresss how much I enjoyed my time at Cortello. It’s a very cute salon which is a plus. Alexis if you’re reading this my hair and I love you !!!

    Thursday the 24th my regular hair stylist cancelled on me for the second time. I was sooo bummed and called 5 or 6 different salons before I found Cortello with an opening, so this was my first time. I was absolutely knocked out at the professionality of service and attention to detail. Alexiss knowledge of hair and how it works is absolutely outstanding and it shows. She was encouraging and complimentary as she talked me through the process, stopped to get my input, and worked her magic to make the most of my locks. She made me feel beyond comfortable while in her chair, and absolutely beautiful by the time I left it. I will be recommending everyone to your salon, and special kudos to Alexis. Thank you so much for the whole experience! I will most definitely be back!

    I had the best hair wash and blowout in Jax at Cortello! My hair was super soft, moisturized, and voluminous after! My stylist was super sweet, my glass of champagne was crisp, and I had a really relaxing time there. Thank you Cortello!

    Abby did wonders on my hair. She delivered on exactly what I wanted - layers but keeping as much length as possible. I’ve never been more satisfied with a hair cut in my life! She has a wonderful personality as well, so not only did the haircut turn out amazing the whole experience was enjoyable! She also educated me on my hair type and what types of products I should use and avoid. Insight that I’ve never really gotten without being pressured to buy something on the spot. I ended up getting the products she suggested a few days after my appointment and her recommendations were spot on. Highly recommend her!

    Leah was absolutely AMAZING! Super sweet girl with tons of knowledge about color! I got a balayage and I’ve never had a better job done in the 7 years I’ve been getting my hair dyed. 100% recommend booking with her!

    I had an amazing experience at Cortello Hair Salon! The salon provides excellent customer service from start to finish. The receptionists are friendly and efficient. My stylists “Leah” incredibly talented and listened to exactly what I wanted. My hair turned out beautiful and the salon had a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!!     Girls at check in/check out are friendly and welcoming. Alexis is great and is a talented stylist who listens to your concerns and addresses them all. Salon offers many services and multiple brands of products they can recommend for your hair type and hairstyle goals. You definitely get what you pay for though I think $35 for a bang trim is excessive. I love that this Salon is so responsive to any inquiries!

    Casey has a great eye and knows exactly how to layer hair, cut bangs, etc depending on texture, thickness, and length. My experience was so good as I’m so happy with my new cut - I will be back for sure ! The entire staff was welcoming from the person that I booked my appointment with to the front desk. I love it!

    I have gotten my fair share of bad hair cuts but this was my first experience here and I was quite sceptical trying to find my new salon. I had really long hair and wanted it all cut off. I came in with not a lot of info on what I wanted just that I wanted it short and Morgan did an amazing job! She was so sweet and showed me how to style my hair. I love my new hair cut and this is my new favorite salon.

    Our family stylist relocated and after some research I reached out to Cortello Hair Salon. My daughter was in need of a hair appoint asap. I did not expect an opening the exact day I called. I always hesitate if a stylist has an immediate opening. I myself think that if a stylist has an immediate opening that they are probably not in high demand and/or may be lacking skills. However, with hesitation we took the appointment. It was the BEST last-minute decision! My daughter met with Erica. Not only did Erica do an amazing job but my daughters hair looks better than ever! Erica does not lack in the skills nor personality department. She is extremely pleasant, professional and skilled. I scheduled an appointment with Erica for myself. Currently Erica is establishing her schedule after relocating to Florida from another state. We are so happy to have discovered Erica and recommend reaching out to her if in need of a stylist. You will not be disappointed. My daughter has received so many compliments on her hair. In addition, the setting is bright, clean, trendy and easily accessible. I usually do not take time to construct feedback unless an interaction is significantly horrible or if an interaction has been extremely and exceedingly exceptional. As you can tell we had a surprisingly and thankfully positive experience!!!

    Carly did such an amazing job!She listened to everything I wanted and over delivered. Made sure several times we were on the same page and walked me through everything she was doing and made me feel as comfortable as possible. After my guy stopped doing hair it was really hard to me to find someone that was a good fit for me but I will definitely be coming back!

    Hands down love this Salon, but I wish it wasnt so expensive! Theyre definitely pretty pricey compared to other salons but they do an amazing job. Ive been going there for little over a year and I highly recommend my Stylist Hayden. Check out their Instagram or Facebook if you want to see examples of their work and which stylist does what. I use them for blowouts for events, cut and color (balayage). Theyre also always learning new techniques and styles so theyre always on with the trends. The atmosphere wont be the most relaxing since theyre typically busy but the interior design/ visual merchandising is gorgeous. So all in all if youre willing to spend a little more then usual, its worth it, I recommend:)

    Cortello is pricey but sometimes you get what you pay for. I have been going to this salon from when it opened and wouldn’t consider changing. Abby is my incredible stylist but if I am in need when she is off, there are other talented stylists that will take care of my needs. I would highly recommend, what I consider, MY SALON to anyone seeking hair care!

    I always love coming in to this salon and seeing Gabby! She listens to my concerns about my hair, gives me tips and shows my products that suit my needs. This go around I basically told her to do whatever she wanted to my hair and it came out amazing! Ive always had trouble with hair stylist but I never have to worry when going to see her and I can fully trust her with my hair everytime. Its just one less thing I have to worry about! I definitely recommend not only this salon but Gabby as an individual hair stylist, shes so talented, kind and shes a good listener!

    Cortello is a great salon! From the moment you are greeted at the front desk till the moment you check out the staff is full service with great personalities. Kay does my cut and color and always takes time to go over everything with me about my hair. From deciding on cut and color to explaining which shampoo my hair needs. She has also worked with great assistants who are always smiling and offering a helping hand. Always a great experience when I go to Cortello Hair Salon.

    Great place for men’s haircuts.Casey did a bit of highlights and trimmed my hair so it grows out in the way I’m aiming for. Originally I was quoted at $150 by accident, the price was meant to be a bit higher. Casey still honored the price I was originally quoted for which was extremely generous of her. Overall- great service.Highly recommend, thank you guys again!!

    I am a person who finds a great hair stylist and then sticks with them for years (until I move from the state for work). Let’s face it I will spend $200+ and 2 to 3 hours with this individual every 5 weeks so finding the right stylist is important. I have tried several different stylist since moving to Florida but just haven’t found the right one who not only had good skills but also was friendly and made me feel welcome. That is... until now!I found Cortello after googling best colorist in Jacksonville. Morgan was the master stylist assigned to me and boy was I pleased!! She asked questions, listened to my responses and was friendly, professional and carried on conversation. She did terrific with my highlights and lowlights, was efficient and did an excellent job all the way around. She just seemed like a natural! I am so pleased to have found Cortello and Morgan. The salon is clean, organized and has a cute little gift shop with all kinds of unique feel good gifts to entice the soul and relaxation.

    I love this salon! The inside is super clean and nice - I always feel so fancy when Im there! Hannah has been cutting my hair for almost two years now and she is the best. I am beyond challenged when it comes to styling my hair and she has given me cuts and styles that look great no matter what. She is patient and always takes time to show me what shes doing and explain how to use different tools like the curling iron and round brush and always has excellent product recommendations. Every time I leave Cortello I feel like a million bucks and cant wait to go back again! Highly recommend. :)

    Visiting Cortello for my first time I enjoyed the atmosphere when first walking in. The staff was very welcoming and friendly faced. They were insightful not only in hair care products but fashion as well- not trying to make a quick buck. My senior stylist, Kat was amazing! She listened and offered her take on a suitable cut for my frame of face. She even offered to style my hair how I would be doing it regularly to see the outcome. I’m happy I chose Cortello as my hair destination.

    Cortello is an upscale yet very friendly full service salon. My stylist is Hayden, and hes been doing my hair for about 5 years. My hair has never looked so good or been so healthy. I get compliments all the time. I have very course, thick, long hair. My hair is not the easiest to deal with, but he always makes it look awesome.     Update- Stilling loving the work these ladies do. Now that my hair is where I want it to be, my confidence is back and I couldnt be happier. I get compliments on it everywhere I go.I love the ladies at Cortello. They are always super helpful and nice. They are very knowledgeable about hair and their products. My hair was a hot messy, at least I felt it was until I met Emily here. She brought my hair to a whole new level and Im in love it. It took me awhile to find a Salon that I trust and can do a white blond without killing my hair.They even do a free consult so you can discuss what you want and to help you find the best stylist there that can bring you the best results based on your want.

    I had Alex and she did an amazing job! My hair came out exactly how I wanted and the experience overall was very nice. The lady at the front was very welcoming and the salon itself has a very cute aesthetic. I also loved the head and neck massage during the shampooing. Alex also tailored every product she used to my specific hair needs. Will definitely be coming back!

    I am a new resident in Jax Beach and found Cortello to be STELLAR! My daughter has been for a haircut and absolutely LOVED it! I decided to make them my salon based on the very pleasant experience from the time we walked in till the time we left. Very comfortable atmosphere. Clean and aesthetically pleasing! (Can I just say ALL of the stylists had the BEST shoes!) So I book a color/cut with Kat for my highlights and SHE ROCKS! She listened to what I said and advised based on her professional opinion. I was very pleased with her and her talents. I am definitely recommending Cortello to anyone who will listen!! Thanks for being awesome Cortello!     Cortello Salon is hands down the best salon I’ve found in Jacksonville Beach. The salon is clean, inviting, and very modern. They always offer you something to drink when you check in and everyone in the salon is friendly. It’s a full service salon that offered cuts, color, shampoo, and other luxury services like blowouts and deep conditioning treatments.As someone with very thin and fine hair it’s almost impossible to find a stylist who can cut my hair, but Lynn always does an amazing job. If you have thin hair definitely ask for her. This last visit I came with inspiration pictures of Taylor Swift’s hair circa 2014 and Lynn got my hair EXACTLY like hers. It looks AMAZING. After three visits working with her she totally understands my hair and my hair needs, which, again, is so rare when your hair is as fine and thin as mine.The only negative I can think of for Cortello is that it’s a bit pricey, but you really get what you pay for. And compared to other high end salons around Jacksonville it’s actually pretty reasonably priced, especially compared to salons in Riverside.

    I had a great experience at Cortello! It was my first time visiting, I saw Emily and she was so patient with me and really took the time to figure out what I wanted and what would look best (AKA spent almost 3 hours with me and stayed late!) The salon is clean and very put-together and all of the staff I interacted with were so sweet. I am usually picky when it comes to salons but I will be visiting Cortello again next week; Im driving all of the way from Fleming Island because it was such a good experience and I love my hair!

    For my first time coming here Kat was my stylist for both my cut and color, and I was incredibly impressed with my experience at Cortello! When first looking at Cortello I was a little put off by the prices but it was so worth every penny! Kat worked with me to get me exactly what I wanted and helped planned for what I was to expect for maintenance going forward. On top of that she is so knowledgeable!     I LOVE Cortello. When I recently moved to Jacksonville I was so hesitant finding a new salon that would make me feel as comfortable. Heard so many great things and decided to book an appointment with Dylan. Love him, he’s great!!!Cortello gives you a hair consultation and let’s you know how much your spending before even getting your hair started which is a concept I love. They also make sure you have a beverage in your hand whether it be coffee, water, or a mimosa to make it even better.

    I have been going to Cortello for a few months now. Jen B. is wonderful! She is great finding out what style and color I have in mind and is great at offering suggestions as well. My hair is the healthiest it has ever been! The rest of the staff is very pleasant as well.UPDATE 2/11/16: I have continued getting my hair done at Cortello and continue to be extremely happy with them. Highly recommended!7/21/17: Im still going to Cortello and still loving the results! My hair has not been this long and healthy, despite all the years of color/getting highlights!     Last visit I had my hair colored. LOVE IT!! IT was the perfect color & has lasted. My hair has shine and volume : )Robin is the best stylist and colorist! She has been coloring and cutting my hair for a while and I have been super happy.*Still going to Cortello and seeing Robin. My hair color is perfect-it ALWAYS lasts until the next appointment. I also love that they dont push products on you in this salon.     We just moved to Jacksonville Beach from Amelia Island and I asked my realtor for recommendations on potential hair salons (along with looking at Yelp reviews). She recommended two and I contacted them both. Cortello was the first to contact me and work with me on choosing a stylist that was the right fit for my hair type. I am very happy with the highlights, the cut and my new stylist, Lynn! She listened to what I liked and didnt like about my hair, made recommendations on a few things and it all turned out great.I made my next appointment with Lynn before leaving. The only thing I was a little disappointed in is the salon is a little too busy and noisy to relax in the way I am used to when getting my hair done. Good for them that they are so busy, but maybe a larger salon with more space for all the staff and clients (and parking) would help with that experience. Overall, I am very pleased. I look forward to making this my new hometown salon.

    Been a customer since 2012 and love Cortello Salon! I have yet to receive a bad treatment, love the customer service, and especially the products! They also have a blow dry bar for styling needs. I had myself and my bridesmaid take advantage of this service prior to my wedding rehearsal lunch back in 2013.My favorite part is the shampoo & conditioning of the hair prior to the cut. All the stylists Ive encountered have been helpful & professional. Top notch salon!

    Today was my second time here and I absolutely love this place. I totally recommend Carly! She is absolutely fantastic. She takes her time, listens to what you want. I was nervous at first, but after today, I completely trust her process! I’m trying to take my hair from super dark to silver gray and she is making it happen without damaging my hair! She doesn’t rush the process and today she didn’t let me walk out until she liked the tone of my hair!The atmosphere is calm in the salon, it’s not overwhelmingly loud. I am excited to return for my next appointment!

    I moved here in July and after 2 less than satisfactory visits to other salons, I found Cortello. I couldnt be happier with my experiences at Cortello. I have complete faith in trust in Kaitland when it comes to my hair, she is very knowledgeable and helpful. Its always a pleasant and relaxing experience, and well worth the 20 minute drive for me to get there. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, I would recommend Cortello to anyone.     Ive been going to Cortello for the last few years and no matter which stylist does my hair I always leave super happy! Ive never had a bad thing to say after getting my hair done here. Everyone is really friendly, the atmosphere is awesome, and the head massages they give you when youre getting your hair washed is amazing! Also, Ive been dying my hair since I was 15 and out of all of the places Ive had my hair colored, Cortello does the best job. I always leave absolutely in love with my color!     Ive been going to Cortello for over a year now. I moved down from Atlanta and had tried a couple of other local salons with no real luck as to the quality of of the cut I received. Mind you, having lived in New York City, Hong Kong, LA and Atlanta, my expectations tend to be just a bit high.Kat was cutting my hair for the first year. She did a great job but moved on to pursue another of her talents. Now Maddie cuts my hair and does an equally fantastic job. I am consistently pleased with her work.Now, as I said, Ive been going there for over a year. During that time Ive noticed many customers enter and leave the salon. One of the things that amazes me is consistency in the high quality of the work (cuts, color etc) that I see leaving the shop.This staff is obviously made up of people who are extremely well trained and who take a great deal of pride in their work. The service level from the front desk to the chair to checkout is, in a word, exceptional.So, if you are looking for a truly great Salon, give this one a try. Id bet heavily that you will not, in any way, be disappointed.

    This salon is the best I have ever been too. Ive been going here since it first opened. I used to see the owner Courtney before she opened Cortello and she is AMAZING. Now I go to see Kate and she is also AMAZING. Im never disappointed and I completely trust her with my hair. The salon is gorgeous and everyone who works there are very friendly. Ive been to many different salons from Miami to (yes) New York and this one is hands down the best!

    As soon as you walk into Cortello you know you are in for a treat! The staff is so welcoming and accommodating. You are greeted as you walk in and offered water or a glass of wine! (You should choose wine of course!) I have never had to wait more than 5 minuets. My stylist is Blair and I absolutely adore her!! She talks to you about what you want from the appointment and what your options are before getting started. I am always pleased with the way my hair turns out. She really knows what she is doing. I should also add that I am very picky when it comes to my hair and I have yet to be disappointed. I would 100% recommend Cortello and Blair to anyone! This place is awesome and if you are look for a quality place to have your hair done then look no more because this is it!

    I was nervous to pick a new hair salon but after reading the reviews I thought I would give Cortello a shot. It was a great experience with very nice employees. You can tell that they genuinely want to make sure you are satisfied with the result. I went back again last month and tried out one of their new stylists and she was just as good as the first seasoned stylist I had met with originally. You can tell that they train their new employees well. Both times I was there the stylist really listened to what I wanted and I never felt rushed. As far as the salon itself, I was blown away by the chic style the first time and by my second visit they had done more renovations and the place looks great! If you want a quality experience in a sophisticated salon then Cortello is the place to go. Check it out, you won’t be sorry.

    My experience at Cortello Hair Salon was top notch. The Salon is absolutely Impeccable. Very clean, well laid out, friendly atmosphere. I was a little hesitant to cut my hair as it was about 20 inches in length. Lisa took her time and slowly cut my hair three times gradually making it shorter so as not to shock me. It was definitely time for a new look. I have received nothing but positive compliments about my haircut/style. I am definitely a client for life. I live in St. Johns and it is well worth the 30 mile drive to have them cut and style my hair.

She is wonderfully attentive to what i liked or didnt like from the last visit and is great about responding to that feedback.     I absolutely love my master stylist Kaitland B. She understands what I am looking for as far as hair goes. She is super stylish and understands how I want my hair. I love my cut, length and color every time I leave the salon until my next appointment. The color lasts and she even touches it up with a recommended gloss before my base appointments. I love her honesty and her willingness to keep my hair healthy. Cortello Salon is the best from the time you enter the door, to the hair appointment and scalp massage, as well as when it is time to leave.     Everyone at Cortello is fabulous! I had a great first experience there last week. Kayla, my stylist, did the most phenomenal job with my highlights! Best I have received anywhere in Jacksonville...and up there with the best highlights ever. She was knowledgable and friendly and very efficient. I typically leave a salon with a sore butt because my highlights take such a long time, but I was in and out in no time. I received a relaxing shampoo and then a fantastic blow dry and style from Taylor, who was just too cute for words and has a rocking sense of style. Overall, the experience was higher priced than other salons I have visited, but well worth the investment. In fact, I am going back today for a cut and blow out!

    I followed my hair stylist to Cortello, and Im really glad I did! The salon is modern and comfortable, and the staff is friendly, as well as very professional. While most people around here in Jacksonville seem to opt for highlights and blonde hair, Im one of the quirky people that likes to have my hair dyed dark shades of brown and red. So, I really doubt theres anything these colorists/stylists cant do when it comes to haircare. My hair coloring experience has always been flawless, and my colorist/stylist has a really good idea of what types of hair styles work for my face shape. Beyond my own stylist, the whole staff is really helpful, either dishing out compliments or attending to any questions I may have. Getting my hair done at Cortello is like a head & hair spa day, and not just a routine hair-maintenance visit. Every person that leaves has such gorgeous hair, Im pretty sure any stylist would be worth seeing. Worth every hard earned penny!

    I recently moved to the area from NYC and struggled to find a salon that has a great ambiance AND great stylists.     Gabby was amazing she listened to what I wanted, she asked important questions about my hair goals and what I was going for. Because she actually sat down with me and discussed what I wanted I felt super at ease that she would help me achieve my hair goal.     This is the best salon I have ever been to, and trust me Ive been to a lot. I have long curly hair, and it isnt always the easiest thing to find a hairdresser who can cut it well, and me actually like it, but Cortello Salon does just that. Ive had Lee and Kaitland cut my hair and they are both fantastic, and Kaitland is awesome with color! I always look forward to my appointments, the salon is super chic and such a great atmosphere.     This salon has been FANTASTIC! When I first got my hair colored here, it didnt really turn out the way that I wanted it. The color seemed to be gone in like a week and a half!     Ive been to Cortello a handful of times now and I love it! Everyone there is super sweet and the stylists are wonderful. They were explaining to me that there is a specific level of training and observation of the stylists before they are even allowed to cut hair which I find impressive. I usually see Jessica who is wonderful and does amazing things to my hair. Im even the type of woman who cant handle spending more than 5-10 minutes on her hair and Jessica gave me the tools and tips on how to do this and keep it cute! Highly recomend!

    Great salon! I was referred to Cortello by a friend after my stylist moved and was not disappointed. The atmosphere was unlike any salon I have been to and their staff was very welcoming. I went in for a consultation and immediately booked my appointment with Taylor. The email confirmation for my appointment was convenient. My favorite part of the salon was the salon assistants. One helped my stylist keep an eye on my color while she was able to start her next appointment. This was a major plus!     I had my first experience at Cortellos today and BY FAR THE MOST AMAZING SALON. I was able to get in the same day I called (due to a cx) because normally the hairstyle I had today (Leah) is booked out. From the moment I came in I felt relaxed but then she took me to the wash area and I WAS IN LOVE!!!! THE MOST RELAXING EXPERIENCE IVE HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!     I was desperately seeking a stylist and colorist after a salon in Boone, NC suggested I use salons that focus on training and education of their employees and staff. After researching the Jacksonville Beaches area for Oribe products within a salon, I found Cortello. It was perfect because this salon had also been recommended to me by a friend, and this just firmed up the suggestion. I put my trust totally in their recommendations and Rachel was my stylist.     Ive been going to Cortello for almost a year and by far this is the most amazing salon ever! Amazing because the stylists have to be the most creative and experienced in town, and probably all of Jacksonville. In addition, every staff member threats you like a guest and that goes far with me because I dont want to spend my time and money in a salon where you can cut the tension with a knife...I know you know what I mean! In addition to being papered by the staff, they environment at Cortello is trendy yet serene and is welcoming to clients from all age groups.Jessica does my color and cut and each time she has been right on. Ive been doing all over blonde for seven years and no one has ever been so right on with the color and tone except for Jessica. Ive also entrusted her to repair my hair after having had an inexperienced stylist at another salon damage my hair from over processing. Jessica has recommended produces and hair care techniques that have completely turned the health of my hair around. Given the extensive breakage of my hair from the previous salon (and I admit, also years of bleaching my hair), I wanted and needed hair extensions until my real hair was grown out. I stated going to Brandon several months ago for bead hair extensions as at the time they were the safest choice for damaged hair like mine. I absolutely love them and will probably continue to have hair extensions even after my hair grows at as it gives so much more body and volume to my lifeless hair!

    First impression is great when you walk into the salon. The decor and design of the salon is very modern and fashionable; a very unique look from other salons I have been to. The receptionists as well as the stylists are very professional and extremely friendly.     Cortello is home to a warm and welcoming staff, all of whom treat customers with a professional, courteous demeanor. For the first time in the 2+ years I have visiting Cortellos, I was less than thrilled with my haircut.     Cortello is amazing! Brandon is my stylist. He is the first guy Ive had cut/style my hair and he is a true professional! The customer service you receive from the moment you walk in the door is hands down the best.     After a year of shopping stylists, I have FINALLY found the best salon in Jax! It all started with my stylist of 5+ years I was happy with but he just couldnt keep it together professionally. He was constantly changing salons and after 2+ years and 4-5 critical times he either cancelled or no showed my appointment I just had to find someone reliable but also talented. I had been dying my hair black for 7-8 years, and recently had a baby. My hair was a complete disaster, I had tons of hair falling out from the baby and growing back, as well as grays starting to come in. I wanted to go lighter so the grays were less noticeable and I could go longer in between coloring my hair. Not to mention one of the stylists I had tried while shopping completely butchered the cut and chopped off 7 inches without my consent. The owner of Cortello Salon, Courtney- super friendly and professional recommended - after very sympathetically listening to my hair trauma, that I make an appointment with Kate. I decided if my current stylist cancelled on me one more time I would give Kate a chance, I cant even tell you how HAPPY I am my stylist cancelled on me AGAIN, b/c I truly believe I have found an even better stylist in Kate! After a year or more of being in a horrible place and absolutely hating my hair, I finally love it again and am receiving more compliments than ever! I could not be happier with my hair and as long as I live in Jacksonville I will never see anyone other than Kate. She is super meticulous and a perfectionist, she went above and beyond to make my color perfect and considering all of the color correction I needed, it was not an easy nor quick feat! I truly dont believe anyone else, even the stylist I had before I believed to be so talented, would ever have spent the time and effort making sure my hair was as perfect as it could be. Every time I leave Cortello my hair looks better and better- which doesnt even feel possible!

    Excellent. We relocated here from the North East. I was looking for a High Quality Salon with reasonable market prices. This was on a list of several my hairstylist from up North had given to me to check out. I usually get color and cut every 5 or 6 weeks.I was looking for a salon that continues send stylist to classes for the latest styles and color classes. I started with Hannah who at the time was a junior stylist. Great cut! She matched the color I wanted and made changes due to the high humidity and sun exposure for Florida. I have been there for 6 months and love it! Hannah is great! I also sent my husband there and he now likes it as well. Great Salon, Great Stylist, Great products and services..     I first tried Cortello when I moved to Jacksonville 3 years ago and I havent been anywhere else since! Rae is amazing with cut and color, I always get so many compliments on how natural she makes my highlights look. I have been saved many times by the Style Me services and Blow Dry Bar, all of the girls do an awesome job. I even have my boyfriend hooked, he just started seeing Lee and his hair has never looked better. Cant recommend Cortello enough!

    I decided to try Cortello after having to change hair dressers, due to an overpriced bad cut at another salon that left my hair looking choppy and thin. I had been to Cortello for a blow out before and liked the friendly and welcoming staff and environment. A few of my friends, who are regulars at the salon, have recommended Kiki, so I decided to let her cut my hair. She was very friendly and made sure I was happy with my cut. She took the time, before my cut, to discuss any concerns and let me know how she planned on cutting my hair. She informed me of what she was doing with my hair through the haircut as well. My hair feels so much healthier and looks way better than it did before. I left cortello feeling brand new and I will definitely be returning again.

    I have been a customer of Cortello since they first opened their doors. Through the years I have ventured out to other salons but I keep coming back here time and time again.     From the moment you step through the door you know youre at a salon that is a cut above the rest. Ive been in Jax for 5 years and this was the first time where Ive been to a salon and been truly satisfied with the whole experience. The atmosphere is beautiful and inviting and the staff is courteous and helpful. While waiting for our appointment we were offered complimentary mimosas. My stylists Caryn was friendly and knowledgeable, and gave me the best hair cut Ive ever had. I have long, fine hair that is not dyed, and every stylist Ive ever had before has wanted me to dye it and suggested lots of layers. Not Caryn. She never once mentioned dyeing it and recommended no layers which is exactly what I wanted. My hair actually looks longer now after her cutting it! She is truly a master of her art. I will definitely be returning.

    My husband had his hair cut here first and loved it so much I decided to check it out. The salon is clean and hip as well as warm and welcoming. I booked with Eden and I could not have been any happier after leaving.     Jessica is the absolute best stylist! I went to her for a cut and Kerastase conditioning treatment and my hair never felt as soft or bouncy.     This is the BEST salon around Jacksonville! I have had trouble finding a good salon since moving to Jacksonville, and I am more than happy with my experience. Having curly and dry hair that was chemically and sun damaged, my hair had had enough. I was having trouble throughout college finding a golden blonde that didnt stray too far from my natural color, and my hair turned out more like copper throughout the years. Jessica took care of my color by adding low lights to show off my natural color more. The low lights have matched my roots SO well, I have not added dye to my hair since and I am ready to stick to my natural color for a while.My haircut I received from Erica has been the best haircut I ever gotten! Erica did a fantastic job on the cut and did exactly what I wanted - an asymmetrical bob. My curls are bouncier and right above my shoulders. The asymmetrical look gives it an edge I wanted, while I can still be a professional at work. Before I cut off 10 inches, my curls were being weighed down with the chemicals and lack to care. Since I cut my hair dramatically and havent added dye since, my hair feels healthier than ever! Thank you Jessica and Erica! Great staff and great experience!!

    I cannot say enough great things about Cortello Salon. Being a military spouse, one of the worst parts about moving is finding things like a new hair dresser. However, this is hands down my favorite hair salon I have ever been to!! I see Ashley and she is amazing. I grew up a blonde toe head and am always trying to get back to that blonde. She mastered that for me. I also decided to chop off all my long hair a few months ago and go shoulder length and I saw Kate for that. She gave me the exact look I was going for. Everyone at the salon is so sweet and welcoming - they even offer you coffee, water or my favorite part…wine (!) while you are getting your hair done!! Oh and the best part? They give you a little scalp massage while they shampoo your hair. Id go just for that! Thanks Cortello!

    I recently went to Cortello for the first time after my stylist, Tracy started working there and it was impressive! Excellent customer service and a beautiful salon. Even having my hair shampooed was a treat - the chairs are really comfortable and you could enjoy watching fish swim on the tv monitors in front of the wash station.     I moved from a large metro area and went to a first rate up-market salon/day spa. Ive never had my hair done better than at Cortello. I also appreciated the friendliness which did not seen patronizing but genuine and wasnt snooty as my big city salon. Im a devotee! Only wished they did aesthetics and nails but if concentrating on good hair leads to good hair, Im happy. Very professional collegiality amongst the stylists too, not competitive as Ive seen in Chicago and Minneapolis. I owe my husband for this fantastic discovery and hes happy too, not an easy achievement.

    On a very fortunate day in April, my daughter suddenly had a conflict and could not keep her salon appointment with Erica. Instead of cancelling at the last minute, she gave me her spot, as I had been wanting to find a new hair stylist. That was lucky day for me.Erica gave me a cut and color that could not have been better. She seemed to have an intuitive understanding of my hair and what I needed to have done. I am in the process of growing my hair out a little bit, and that is always a difficult process. But Ericas cut was fabulous and regular maintenance with her will keep it looking good while it grows out.     Committing to a new stylist was a scary thought for me when I first moved to Jax.     I’ve been going to the salon more than several years and gone through several stylists especially in today’s challenges. Brennan and Kiki are awesome stylist and I would recommend them both. In case, one is not available I would see the other. They offer great style suggestions and products that would work well in our humidity.     I have been to my fair share of places to get my hair done and let me just say I am absolutely in LOVE. I met Courtney Cortello at the 26.2 with Donna Marathon Expo. She was warm, friendly, energetic and hip. These are all things that describe her salon. She recommended emailing for an appointment... fabulous. No need to hang on the phone, waiting and waiting, for someone to pick up. I emailed them and no more than a few minutes later I received a response.Oh and did I mention that the salon is a place that I would WANT to hang out.     Lovely experience! I am originally from Brazil, for years I waited a year until I was visiting my family to get my hair done there. I tried a few places and professionals but I didn’t like them so I was always waiting until the next time I was going to Brazil, to get my hair done.     Rae has been cutting my hair for the past 2 years. Recently, I took the plunge and decided to color my hair. She was very encouraging and promised that I would love it. She was right! Rae did an amazing job at creating an ombre look that I cant get enough of!I also take my 3 year old son to Jen who does a fabulous job at cutting his hair. She always makes him very comfortable.The salons atmosphere is amazing and the staff is extremely friendly. My son and I have never been disappointed and I always look forward to our appointments. This is by far the best salon in Jacksonville!

    I went into Cortello extremely nervous because I found it via google search and was getting color done. I got peach tips in my hair, which made me kind of scared to begin with, but my experience was amazing. I cant remember the girls name right now, but she did an excellent job. She knew exactly what she was doing and obviously had experience in this type of coloring. I walked out of the salon absolutely in love with my hair. Not only did my hair turn out great, but the salon itself had a great atmosphere. The place is very nice and everyone was so friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be going back in a week or so to get more color!

    Cortello is amazing and so are all of the stylists! My favorite stylist is Lynn! She takes time and really gives me the best haircut Ive ever had. Cortello offers an experience you will not get anywhere else. I highly recommend!!!

    I knew someone who came to this salon and she told me about how great it was so I just had to check it out for myself. Everyday I have been, including my very first time trying it out- everyone who worked there was so nice and welcoming. I had Sam and she listened to the idea I had pictured in my head and my hair turned out even better than I could have imagined! And my hair always feels so soft and healthy after leaving the salon. I loved it so much the first time, that I have made it my regular go-to salon!

    I went to Cortello upon recommendation from friends after receiving a bad pixie cut from another local salon. I called up for an appointment and Taylor was recommended to me. He did an amazing job. He took his time and made sure that every hair was just perfect. I also had him color my hair and he turned my lifeless color into perfection. So no I too am a believer. Cortello definitely deserves the rave reviews that I am always hearing about.

    I have been looking for a good hair salon for 2.5 years now. Let me tell you Ive tried many salons in Jacksonville. Cortello Salon has by far been THE BEST! Hannah colored my hair and she did exactly what I wanted. Their service is amazing! So professional. This salon is worth every single penny and minute I spent there.

    Eden is the best! So sweet, helpful and most importantly informative. You can really tell that Cortellos main focus is on educating their clients and maintaining the health of your hair. Eden took the time to make sure I was happy every step of the way. She made sure my expectations were realistic as far as what we would be able to achieve in one session. I left feeling like myself again after a long time of hating my hair. We came up with a game plan to get me to my dream hair, and I cant wait to see her in 5 weeks!

    Recently relocated to Jacksonville and tried over 10 recommended salons...left each one in tears!. After reviewing the salon recommendations about Cortello Salon online, I decided to try them. BEST MOVE EVER! The salon is beautiful, the support staff are friendly and welcoming, and each stylist is an artist. Erica has done my hair twice...she is my stylist for life...she is absolutely fantastic...creative in her ideas as well as open to mine, skilled at working within my, style, my age, and my hair type to achieve what works for ME. This is the first time I havent left in tears and washed out the do.Five star all the way...give it a chance..I promise you wont regret it.

    It is extremely hard to find someone that knows and has the patience to cut curly hair. Brandon at Cortello is amazing!!! Ive never been this happy with a cut before. The salon is great the entire staff is always so happy to be there and professional. I use Cortello for cuts and color and they never disappoint.

    Ive been going to Cortello Salon since I moved to Jax about a year and a half ago and I LOVE IT! Their stylists are experts and take a lot of care with each client. I have really REALLY curly hair and always have trouble with people being able to style my hair. NOT HERE! Lee Trevino always does an awesome job with my hair. Ive gone to one or two others, when he wasnt available, and I left with a smile on my face each time.I never have to go home and touch it up either!The prices can be a bit high, but worth it! Definitely check them out!

    Im about to go in for my 3rd time to see the awesome staff at Cortello! It truly is the most relaxing and great experience to get my hair washed and styled. They make you feel right at home and truly care to listen about your hair issues. I never knew about Fusio until Cortello and now I get a treatment every trip! It is literally saving my hair!

    The only place I will go to get my hair cut in Jacksonville. They are so welcoming and you always feel like you are getting the ultimate treatment while getting your hair done. I always tell people if I could come every week I would. Kay White is amazing !! I trust her with my hair 100% and she always impresses me and I leave loving my new hair! She gives a head massage while washing that makes me almost fall asleep every time. Can’t say enough good things about this place ! Highly recommend.

    I happened by this hair salon while I was in town and in desperate need of a haircut. I found it on google, as I do everything, and the positive reviews drew me to the place. The salon was very easy to find. I was lucky enough to have the owner cut my hair. Courtney did an excellent job and I have gotten more compliments on my haircut than I ever have before. Im not sure what she did but I feel so much better with a nice hair cut. Huge boost for my ego. I will be making this my monthly hair cut spot when I am town. Highly recommended for men and women.

    Both my husband and I have been going to Cortello Salon for many years now and absolutely love it! Cortello Salon strives to educate every stylist in the latest trends and styles. The atmosphere mimics an upscale spa. Every staff member is very welcoming and each client is treated like a celebrity. Sam styles and cuts myand my husbands hair. Shes very talented with updos/braids and has exceeded my expectations for styles for my bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day.Cortello provides a unique, high end salon experience for everyone. The Hairstylists all have a wide range of experience and expertise. I have been seeing Sam for many years, but I know even when I need to jump in for a quick style or blowout that any stylist there will take care of me. Every stylist is passionate for their profession and able to blend their artistic personality with your vision and style. I highly recommend this salon.

    So HAPPY! Ashley was able to fix my badly colored hair. I have a lot of hair so it was not an easy task and took hours but she worked her magic and gave me exactly what I wanted from day 1. This salon is top of line and the customer service is out of this world. The head massage and hot towel was so relaxing for this mama of 3 littles. I am so thankful and happy with my new color. Highly recommend this place.

    Quick turnaround & Quality service! :)My hair stylist wasnt available, so I searched for a salon with the best reviews. I emailed Cortello and they called me the next morning and set up a free consult on the same day. It was my first time at the salon. Cortellos atmosphere is so Chic! At the consult, I was seen by two stylists. They took a look at my hair and made recommendations. One cool thing to note, is that they tell you upfront how much it would cost, which I really appreciated. Not only that, it was a Tuesday and I got an appointment on Friday! I was fortunate that Gabby was my stylist! She is super friendly and talented! I had wanted a drastic color for my 2nd balayage. Gabby did an such awesome job with my hair. Love the color!     Izzy has been cutting and coloring my hair for a few years and it is always great! My daughters bridal party had their hair and make up done by a few different ladies at the salon, and they all looked beautiful. Izzy did the brides hair and makeup and she looked amazing.     I moved from San Francisco to Jax Beach last year and after trying a few salons in the area, I finally discovered Noelle and her magical hands at Cortello Salon. After years of salon hopping in San Fran, disappointing cuts, and outrageous prices, I am beyond pleased with the results I receive at Cortello. Noelle is a fabulous stylist and incredibly well-versed in custom color, highlights, and has a true understanding of what colors work for a client. Noelle is calm, cool, and collected and creates a relaxing environment and takes her time to ensure perfection with her clients cuts. She also gives incredible head massages! :) This is my 4th time visiting her and I always walk out feeling like a million bucks and ready to face the day. Thanks Noelle!

    Cortello is an awesome salon! Erica listens carefully to what youre wanting and does an excellent job at delivering. The head massage during the shampooing is the best Ive ever experienced. The decor is clean and modern and the staff are all friendly. I highly recommend Cortello!!
