I must say they are extremely nice at this place! I came in to drop off a smoothie to my wife who was getting her hair colored by Carissa and I immediately felt at home. They were so kind and funny from the get go, that I decided to stay the entire time until my wife was done. That’s a first for me, and it goes to show how important customer service is for everyone even if they aren’t paid clients!! Big thumbs up to the staff at Phi eco salon you guys rock!

Phi Eco Salon will blow your mind! From the moment you walk in the atmosphere is tranquil and serene. My hairstylist Carissa was absolutely delightful, she made me look like a movie star and was sure to recommend some amazing products to insure I’m able to keep up the fresh look! Honestly for the price I paid and the service I received, I couldn’t possibly recommend this place anymore!

I’ve always struggled with entrusting others with my hair as I’ve dealt with lots of trauma doing so lol. It’s been a while since I have but I took a leap of faith and haven’t looked back since . You all have been so welcoming since day one . Courtney has honestly made such an incredible impact on the way I view myself and i can not thank her enough . Courtney has always been so attentive and thoughtful every time I’ve come back . She’s taken the time to access my needs and guarantee she’s giving me exactly what she wants . She really takes the time to listen and even bounce around ideas with me . Even on the crazier days she gives her fullest effort to guarantee I’m satisfied and just the effort and thought alone is so much more appreciated than you guys know . She does such a great job that now I’m stuck on just booking on her 😂. The confidence boost you’ve given me is out of this world , I’ve never loved my hair more . My husband seems to agree as he himself makes the decision to willingly drive me an hour there , pays for the service, tips , AND BUYS ME THE AMAZING CLOUD SPRAY(and other products 😁) THAT I USE DAILY THANKS TO COURTNEYS RECOMMENDATION! While I was visiting some friends in Jax Beach I really wanted to get my hair done...it was way over due. One of my friends recommended Lacey at Phi Eco Salon so I scheduled a highlight and a haircut. Lacey was so tentative during our consultation. She listened to what I wanted and provided her recommendations and feedback. Lacey took her time and was really intentional with our conversation and focused on making my hair look amazing. She did a wonderful job!The salon is beautiful and clean and I really love that they use eco friendly and more natural products as my psoriasis is very sensitive to really any kind of chemicals.Next time Im in Jax and Im needing some salon services done Im definitely going back to Lacey at Phi!

Phenomenal is an understatement! Cindy, you made my 13-year-old daughter feel so special and loved. She needed a haircut and did a lot of research before choosing Phi Eco. A very pleasant experience with Lydia today for my second Mens cut and Im truly thankful I allowed myself to try out a salon vs a barbershop! Lydia was sure to hear and know exactly what I was looking for both times and I left looking and feeling great. I can tell Lydia truly takes her time and cares that my haircut is even and just the way I would like it. That care and precision she expresses is definitely going to keep me coming back and dont even get me started on the head and scalp massage she does during the hair wash!! I would recommend anyone to come see Lydia for all your hair needs!

I have been looking for a hairstylist who can cut and style my hair just exactly how I want it. The search is over. I finally found my hairstylist! Lydia did a great job in cutting my hair. She was very thorough and very passionate about her job. She sat with me in the lounge area and asked me what my goal for the visit and how I want my hair cut. She took her time in shampooing my hair and massage my scalp, back of my neck, behind my ears and my temples. Cindy did a great job in blow drying my hair. She was very thorough and very gentle. She also took her time in blow drying my hair. I highly recommend Phi Eco Salon and I highly recommend Lydia as a hairstylist. I will definitely be coming back to this place. Its a 45 minute drive from home but its worth it.

My hair looked phenomenal and has been easy to maintain. I also loved the sustainable and eco-conscious philosophy (another big reason I chose this salon). The best experience I’ve ever had getting my hair done. The stylist, Lydia, was very attentive to the style I desired as well as my overall hair condition. My hair looks and feels good again!The atmosphere in the salon was super comfortable and inviting- I honestly am in love with the decor and lighting. The staff and the owner were so friendly and really went out of their way to make me feel good about being there. On top of all of that, the price for my hair cut was reasonable! I saw information on next-door from hairstylist Lucas, which intrigued me, I reached out to him with my 4653 questions, he replied quickly!! He then reached out and helped me secure an appointment - once made I received several reminders (I love reminders!!) and headed in for my appointment.I was greeted by a lovely puppy in an extremely clean salon. The space is aesthetically pleasing. Open spaces, but not loud, the wash station was so comfortable I almost fell asleep!They only use quality products, I asked before making the appointment - and the products used were gluten-free, a requirement that I need.Lucas asked me 1000 questions, and did a great job overall. He was personable, friendly, and chatty - exactly what you want in someone doing your hair :-) .The rates are extremely, stress that EXTREMELY affordable, the service was divine overall it was a very pleasant experience

I had just moved to the area and I am so glad I found this salon. I am picky when I comes to choosing the right salon because I care about how my hair is taken care of. Courtney was amazing. So sweet and absolutely understood what I wanted. I couldn’t have been more happy with how my hair turned out. The owner is so nice as well. Everybody was so welcoming. 110 percent would recommend this place to anybody in the area. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED !!! Thank you ladies so much for everything. I dont like to write reviews but Lydia and the salon deserve it. Its so hard to find a good professional when having a curly hair. Im new to the town and had to look for a new professional. After reading millions of reviews, I knew this was the place. I was lucky to have Lydia cutting my hair and she was AMAZING! Super friendly and super professional. The salon itself is very clean and the decor is pretty and modern. You feel comfortable just by walking through the door. If you are a curly girl, theyll understand your needs.

Lydia is a queen and will make sure you leave feeling like royalty! I’m not too particular with my hair as there are not a lot of options for my curly hair and face shape. However, Lydia can make your vision into a reality! She did a fabulous job at not only making my hair bounce again but also helped me color my hair with reassurance that my curls would be ok. And they were! She took the time to color each curl which helped give them definition. I look forward to each visit at Phi Eco, especially with Lydia. If you ARE a particular person with your hair, bring your vision board and ideas and be prepared to be wow’ed! The shampoo room is also a vibe.

She’s easy to chat with, but gives me my space, and I always leave feeling happy with my hair and feeling refreshed. Love the salon itself. Yall!! I have FINALLY found my curly hairstylist in Jacksonville!!! Carissa was awesome and my haircut is absolutely amazing! So much volume now, AND a simplified routine. Can you tell, I am in love with my hairstyle?!? And I have paid much more (and traveled MUCH farther) for other curly cuts and not been nearly as satisfied as I am now. The salon itself has a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. If you are looking for a curly haircut near Jacksonville this is your place!

I had a first time experience at this salon. Lucys was my hairdresser. Its a neat salon in Jax Beach by the Pavilion and Brix.There were all ages in there as customer cool surfer mature older ladies mixed bag . First he offer a drink. He listened and listened and then his creative mind knew what to do. Hes not a cutter hes stylist difference. He styled my look.He then gave a shampoo and message to die for.He then gently and skillfully turned my collar length blah boring hair to a frisky cut still mid length but with some class. He used products and blew it and cut a little more. I now transformed from a mutt at humane society to a Ponte Verde poodle. Wow!! Really felt better.( Im a customer first time not paid )He had special 50 percent so for $ 25 bucks I have a holiday do !!!Really really go there I promise its painless fun and a real boost to your appearance . LUCUS was fab.

Run, don’t walk. I cannot sing this salon’s praises enough. The owner, Carissa Vaughn, is a true color artist and is so knowledgeable in the color/styling/hair care fields. The salon practices and products are eco conscious (I think I saw something on their Instagram the other day that said bring in a bag of trash and get a free hair cut for a special event that was going on), the space has top tier vibes (great decor and music), and the staff is so kind & welcoming. My hair was literally falling out before I came here. Carissa took me from my natural brown to a beautiful blonde balayage (she knew I needed a change!) and replaced every single one of my hair care products with her recommendations. THEN Lacey Roszak gave me the most incredible long layered cut that completely fits my lifestyle, I am obsessed with it. She is multitalented and also hilarious. AND THEN Courtney Ager conjured magic somehow, she made my super thin straight hair defy gravity and all laws of physics with big, bouncy curls I didn’t think my hair would ever be capable of, and she took the time to show me step by step how to replicate them at home. 🥹❤️ Truly transformative coming here. 100/10 recommend.

I was very impressed with the vibe, products offered and level of professionalism with the receptionist to the other stylists.As a licensed stylist myself, it was really nice to be pampered in such a beautiful setting.I used to work with Lacey and I was excited to see her new place. She is knowledgeable about her craft and products and no one in town gives a better scalp massage.She makes you feel like you have a new best friend when youre around her and she creates a true experience at the beaches.

I’ve been fighting my gray roots for years, getting them colored every six weeks. Lydia patiently colored small strips of hair so that as my gray grew in, it blended perfectly. She has used a toner twice after and it still looks great. Although the price was high initially, it saved me over $600 a year. On top of that, Lydia listens to her customers! She is gentle and goes the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. Excellent!

Now...idkI booked an appointment online through their website for 7:45. I drove 35 minutes to go there. It is out of my way but since they are trans friendly I took the extra time. When I arrived the salon was closed. Their hours state that theyre open till 9:00. I waited around for 15 minutes so 8:00 no one showed up. They have already taken my money through their online booking. Do not go here unless you want to waste your time.Will update if they fix this.Updated 3/6/24The salon did reach out to me providing me a refund and offering the next couple visits free. They were very apologetic as their new booking system still has some kinks. I will be returning because this place IS a trans friendly salon.

I love the vibe of this place! I’ve had a massage with Shannon and it was amazing. She made me feel comfortable and tailored the massage to my needs. Jaclyn has done my hair twice, once a blow out for a special occasion and a trim and treatment and both times I was very pleased. This will be my regular hair salon! I also love the treatments. I got the renaissance the first time and a treatment for dry, brittle hair the second time and both have left my hair more smooth and manageable.

Went in with an idea that was out of my budget and she totally worked with me by showing me other ideas we could do instead that would be in budget and still achieve the look I was going for. I had my hair styled and colored by Lacey about 2 months ago and Im still in love with my hair. The color is still rich (which is sometimes difficult to do with red hair) and the haircut still looks amazing. Lacey does a great job at listening to her clients and executing what they want. The whole experience she creates at phi eco is amazing and leaves the client feeling pampered and beautiful when they walk out the door. Her scalp massages are almost guaranteed to put you to sleep. The salon itself is very welcoming and cozy. I cant wait to go back!

Im super picky when it comes to my hair. I met Lacey at another salon before she recently joined the PHI Eco Salon Lacey and followed her here for a slightly higher price. But the experience is worth it! Lacey listens carefully and delivers perfection. The shampoo and conditioner part is my favorite. Almost puts me to sleep! (Not to mention the salon has the most comfortable chairs you will ever lay in to shampoo your hair!)You really should visit her! Either Im her favorite or she just has the type of personality that gets along with everyone. She is passionate about her career, and it really shows! I look forward to my monthly visit every time! I was struggling to get an appointment for a haircut at the beaches by someone who understands curly hair. I am super glad I found Eco Phi! I was able to get an appointment and the process was great. I loved the text and email reminders. My haircut was great - and for once I actually felt that the stylist listened and understood when I said I am lazy and need low maintenance 🙃 I waited a few days to post this review to see if it really WAS easy to deal with...it is and Im so darn happy!The team at Eco Phi worked so well together and seemed to really enjoy being there. She spent a lot of time with me discussing my hair and my wishes for the cut. She also explained to me about the ecologically sound, clean haircare products that are used in the salon. Carissa then introduced me to Michaela, who studied under her and would be my stylist. I was in great hands with Michaela. Just found out they do men’s cuts so I had to give it a shot. Beautiful place over all. Fun yet professional stylists. I checked in and was immediately offered a beverage. Lacy is a guru of the snips and gave me the cleanest skin/beard fade I’ve ever gotten. I could tell even through her bubbly personality that she was taking her time and pride in her work. I nearly slipped into a deep sleep while getting shampoo and conditioner methodically and hypnotically massaged into my scalp. Overall, I do like the salon. The girls who work there are all incredibly sweet, professional, and responsive to any questions. Its decorated nicely and its super clean, so its a really warm and welcoming place. I went twice recently to get a haircut with Carissa and a lash lift from Shannon. The haircut was great, but my bangs ended up a little uneven looking. The lash lift was where I was really less than thrilled... Shannon was super nice so I dont want to place any negativity on her, but the lash lift barely has given me any results. I went home and realized there was not really a noticeable difference to warrant spending as much as I did. Im not sure if this is just because lash lifts are not for me or if its the way it was done. I did return home with a lot of residue from the chemicals all around my eyes which I wasnt happy about. I hate to not rate them higher as I love all the people who work there and the salon itself/what it stands for.Wanted to post an update on this: I thank Carissa and the salon so much for responding so quickly to my concerns and addressing them. Its not often a business is so understanding and clearly appreciative of your business. Thank you guys :)

Lacey knew how to flex the circumstance to ensure I could be seen on this visit. I naturally expected a wait, but I barely had one. I cant promise this could happen every time, but I can say, if its possible, Lacey will make it happen.On top of accommodating to see me, Lacy cut my hair quick! Furthermore, the speed wasnt *at all* a detriment to the quality of the cut. Ive visited several times since for consistent service. Ive since followed Lacey to her new location: PHI Eco Salon -- a beautifully constructed, conscious salon offering a variety of complimentary beverages, not to mention the location is only steps away from the beach. Once I got there, there was no one around. Upset about the experience I left a voice massage on the answering machine. Riley left a message stating The owner (Carissa) was back in town and was upset to hear what happen and she personally will service me free of charge. I recently had had my hair done here and it turned out fabulous! I was so nervous about someone new touching my hair, I was reassured there was nothing to be scared or nervous about! My other concern was, I didnt have a babysitter..they had a little area my son could sit and play while mommy relaxed! I loved how friends day they were and relaxing he atmosphere was. They also offer you a beverage..which is always nice!

I couldn’t ask for a better overall experience at a salon. Second only to the talent these beautiful hair artists possess, is the calming chill atmosphere which makes you feel as though you’ve been transported while still maintaining the beach/eco vibes.I got my hair done by Caitlin. She is a newer stylist to the salon but I know that any artist Carissa would bring to the table would be nothing less than extraordinary. My box died black/brown hair needed to go and Caitlin took her time to ensure my hair processed and lifted to the correct shade of blonde and left me feeling soooo proud of my hair and already looking forward to my next appointment with her!

I have gotten my hair done here and have never had someone pay so much attention to my hair before. So much love to my hair. I just got my eyelashes done and they are so stunning. I feel so amazing. This place is really cool. The inside has a very calming vibe with a lot of natural elements used in the design of this space. Carissa the owner was my stylist and did an amazing hair cut on me as well as the color for my hair. I do a lot of a fashion colors and currently my hair is Emerald. The color is very rich and vibrant. Everyone in the salon has always been very attentive and helpful and they work together as a team here. I would highly reccomend this place as Carissa has done an oustanding job bringing this high end eco friendly salon to the Beaches area. 🙌😁

Lina D. is the BEST!! She is the only person i’ve let touch my hair for the past 4 years of knowing her. She has been with me through going blonde and going dark because i’m constantly wanting to change up my hair. She has nailed both processes and did it honestly and in a way that did not compromise the health of my hair. She has mine and my hairs best interest, which is rare! She is very gifted and meticulous when it comes to her haircuts & she always does exactly what I ask. With her product recommendations I have noticed a huge change in the health of my hair and now it’s stronger, shinier and healthier than i’d ever dreamed possible. A refreshing new, eco-friendly salon run by an expert, professional, dynamic stylist and make-up artist. She never disappoints, and after two years of cuts, color and management of my hair and make-up, my look has never looked or felt more healthy. Instead of feeling as though my hair has an urgent need to get help every six weeks, I ease into each and every appointment because of the subtle way she highlights and lowlights my blonde hair for a natural look. In her new surroundings I feel relaxed and calm, a true retreat from whatever stress is out there in the world. Also, I can actually turn my cut and style completely over to her, because I never have to worry about her decisions in her chair. She ROCKS!

Not only is Selphi an Eco-Friendly Salon in every sense of the word, it also has the most down-to-earth, lovely vibe that puts you at ease the moment you walk in and stays with you long after you leave. There is so much positive energy, you just know you are in for a great experience...and I was! First, I received a cold drink and then...and this was a first for me and something, as a former marketing professional, I think is absolutely brilliant...I was asked to fill out a brief questionairre about my lifestyle, my goals for my hair, what I like in a salon, etc. I was already pretty happy at that point, but then I met Ashley, my stylist, and I quickly became ecstatic. She was delightful. She really listened to what I was saying and, more importantly, when I told her that I wanted her honest input as to how to make it all work for me, she gave it. Then, I sat and watched her execute each phase of her plan like the master artist she is. When she finished, the results were incredible! The color, hightlights and cut are the best I have ever had. Ashley transformed my hair into exactly what I wanted even though I hadnt been able to fully describe it..or even show her a photo...when I sat down in her chair. She is really amazing. So, if youre looking for an extraordinary, eco-friendly, and people-friendly, salon with gifted stylists like Ashley, and wonderful, cruelty-free products that smell heavenly, youve found it... I was at the salon back in March and I had a wonderful experience. I cant remember the girls name but I remember her adorable bobby pin tattoo on her arm. She was very nice and friendly, offered me a beverage, and accomplished exactly what I wanted with my hair. I went there because they are eco friendly and I have been looking for an eco friendly salon for a while. Overall it was very clean, comfortable, everyone was nice, and its a business that is eco friendly. I have a lot of respect for the salon and I do plan on going back.

I had a Reiki treatment yesterday with Carissa, and it was truly awesome. I have had all types of massage before, but with the Reiki treatment I had amazing results. I left the treatment feeling calmer, recharged, centered, and with significantly reduced back pain. Im going to go back for another treatment in a few weeks and cant wait. Carissa also provided feedback on things to be aware of that could be causing back pain. I cant recommend Carissa and the Reiki treatment highly enough. Im very grateful!
