Everyone has different experiences with doctors. Here is mine: I have been going to Dr. Mendez for over 14 years. She discovered my cancer in 2007 where my previous doctor said there was none. I fully trust her with my life and I am always recommending Mendez Family Care! My only compliant is she has so many more patients I have longer waiting time to see her. But she is worth the wait to me. -

I have been with this practice for many years. Dr Mendez and her staff are very caring. Dr. Mendezs personality, warmth and tender care always helps me feel at ease. She takes plenty of time to answer my questions and simply talk. I appreciate her whole person approach to health and well being. -

This review is long overdue. Ive been with Dr. Mendez for over 10 years now and continue to be so happy with her care, and my interactions with her staff. I was a wreck when I came in. Dr. Mendez did thorough testing and found a hormone imbalance my previous doctor missed. Within 2 weeks I was getting comments that I was like a different person (for the better!). Dr. Mendez listens to my concerns and investigates and makes suggestions to what we can do. She has a wealth of knowledge about herbal, diet, and drug remedies and takes the whole picture and my goals into account. Her office provides many services including blood draws, injections, EKGs, paps, allergy testing, ANSAR testing, and the list goes on. It is so convenient, and cost effective, to get everything done in one place and not book additional appointments for tests and specialists. she does like to manager her patients health so wants to see you every 3 months but I like that. I always leave there feeling like Im in good hands and have hope for good health. -

Dr. Michelle Mendez is a walking wealth of current medical information integrating ever-changing medical knowledge with the tried tested and proven of the old paths. She considers the mental and physical wellbeing of the patient as a whole person and not a part. After a strong recommendation from my Oncologist, she took over my health care after cancer in helping me deal with a dad who had dementia for 7 years while having to rebuild my body from the effects of cancer and radiation. When we first began seeing her, she was with a group that was mis-managed from billing to staff procedures. Her hands were tied as we viewed it.She has now separated from that group and has set her practice up with up-to-date medical information as well as working with the patient on how to manage their health with current knowledge of today. I would highly recommend Dr. Mendez to anyone wishing to choose a physician. -

Dr. Mendez is the most thorough health professional I have ever been to. She has helped figure out a dozen different friend’s illnesses when other doctors could not. This ability is due to her asking many questions and also continuing her knowledge by studying new articles every day. She has added an Emsuite to her practice. She tailors what machine and how long to do it on your specific needs. Simply the best doctor -

*****2023 UPDATE: Dr. Mendez and her staff continue to provide amazing care and helpful info to make me the healthiest I can be. After 12 years under Dr. Mendez care and supervision I have been able to manage any health issues I have. Her attention to detail and sincere concern for the TOTAL well being of her patients is just unheard of in the current medical environment we find ourselves. She takes her time and addresses all of your concerns. Very professional and very smart. Happy to highly recommend her practice.****** Ive been a patient of Dr. Mendez for several years. Ive found her to be very level headed and low key as well as extremely knowledgeable. She takes extra time with her patients and they know she truly cares about their overall health and well being. Does she run late sometimes? Sure! But I know Ill get her undivided attention for as long as it takes to address all of my concerns. I highly recommend her and the entire staff at Mendez Family Care. Ive found them all to be very professional and courteous. -

I was due for my yearly women’s exam and I no longer have insurance so I googled and found Mendez Family Care and I’m SO happy that I did!! From the time I walked in the door, the receptionist was up beat and sweet, the nurse who did my pre exam was funny and easy going and Dr. Cassey was phenomenal! I didn’t feel pushed to hurry through my exam, she listened to my concerns and gave me good recommendations that put me at ease! She even sent me home with some vitamins that would benefit me and talked about future testing I might be interested in pertaining to my cancer concerns since it runs in my family. The blood technician was quick and painless. I could tell she was an expert which made me at ease! The check out receptionist was very nice and happily introduced me to the office manager to answer a few of my final questions About cancer testing. I felt very comfortable with the whole staff, Everything in the office is very clean, Natural health supplement oriented and not clinical or overwhelming with Prescription products everywhere like normal dr. Offices. I can’t thank them enough for such a great first time experience! I will definitely be back!😍 -

I have been seeing Dr. Mendez for almost 20 years is and am pretty disgusted by some of the comments and likes to those rancid comments being made about the practice. I would not be alive today if Dr. Mendez and her team were not thorough and well equipped to do their job. Yes, one may have to wait time to time, why? Because they are treating patients and providing a level of care I have not been provided by any before her and I most certainly would not be a healthy adult male without Dr. Mendez knowing the right surgeons to send me to. Take a look around the office and see all the awards and accolades the practice owner has received. Please do not take these negative remarks made seriously. In a non-judge mental way I’d politely say go somewhere else with your negativity and find a doctor who doesn’t care about you or your health so the rest of us can get the attention and care we deserve. My life if worth the wait. It’s not the doctors job to maintain your receipts in case you need them for taxes. That’s your responsibility. Perhaps if you stopped blaming the practice and looked in the mirror you’d realize they aren’t the problem, you and your attitude are. Google reviews is not the place for you to come leave your snide remark’s when you don’t get what you want because you are discrediting and defamation of character. So please, stick to your social media for that and let truth be told here where people rely on the reviews. I moved to Atlanta for five years and did not change doctors. I came back to Jax once a quarter for my check up. THAT is how great this practice is. -
