    I always have the best experience when I come here. Madelyn is so sweet, detail oriented, and gives in my experience the best scalp massage. The shampoo and the scalp massage are definitely my favorite. This is definitely the place to come to. All the girls are friendly, energetic, and funny. They all have a great relationship with each other. Truly a wonderful experience. And I will be coming back to try out their nail services as well.

    We love booking with Olivia! She has been cutting and styling my daughter’s hair (yay for bangs!) for quite a few months and we are excited to see her again in 2025.     It was my first experience with both the beautiful facility as well as my talented stylist, Heather. First, the salon is clean, comfortable and welcoming. Second, Heather and her team were informative, professional, talented and personable. Heather explained every step executed, product utilized and she listened to my ‘wants and needs’ as we collaborated together for a beautiful end result. My last stylist retired after being with me for ten years, so I was extremely apprehensive about working with someone new. Heather was great and understood completely my reservations. I think I have found my new long term ‘home’ for my hair needs. Thanks ladies for a great experience and outcome!

    Cara is so amazing! I had a bad experience with my previous hair dresser and cara really transformed my look giving me exactly what I wanted. She is extremely professional and made me feel very comfortable in her chair. She is very honest and walked me through the entire process!! Getting blonde sometimes can be a little scary because not everyone is a specialist with bleach and blonde , but she did so great!! She gave me a really cute Sabrina carpenter look and did a really good job on my blow out and the swoopiness of my bangs!! I will definitely be getting all of my hair services with Cara! Thank you!❤️

    Been coming to this salon since I moved here from Austin, TX two years ago. After reading reviews for all the top salons in Lakeland I chose the Glam Color Bar because they had the best reviews and offer many different services (hair, nails, lash extensions, makeup application, etc.). I am also extremely allergic to most hair dyes except Wella dye. The other dyes make my scalp itch really bad and cause my hair to fall out. I informed the receptionist of this when I made my first appointment and The Glam Color Bar took it very seriously. I told them I could only use Wella and they made notes in their system for the stylist which really eased my mind. Ive seen several different stylist from this salon and all know and take my dye allergy seriously. They order Wella dye just for me, which I am so VERY grateful to them for. They always do a beautiful job on my hair. I have very long, wavy dark brown hair. Im 48 and get a lot of greys around the crown area. Thanks to the Glam Color Bar I can still have beautiful long dark brown hair without the greys or the allergic reactions.From the moment I stepped in the salon I was greeted warmly and welcomed to Lakeland by their awesome receptionist Charlie. The waiting area is so cute and looks like a high end boutique with really cute clothes, accessories, jewelry and hair products. The salon area itself is really beautifully decorated with gorgeous chandeliers and is always clean. The staff here are always warm and welcoming. Ive seen three different stylists here (Heather, Stormie and currently am seeing Trail). All the girls here do a PHENOMENAL job and I always leave feeling beautiful when I leave. I am so glad I found this salon. I highly recommend Glam Color Bar they are true professionals and understand those of us that have allergies.Elizabeth Hunt

    I met Heather 4 years ago. I will never forget the first time I called Glam Color Bar wanting to know more about hair extensions & Heather answered the phone. She made me feel so special we talked for an hour! I immediately booked an appointment. At the end of my first appointment, we both teared with my hair transformation. Heather truly changed my life as she puts everything into her clients. I love Heather she truly is amazing & will change your life too. I always tell her God sent her to me 😊

    I love coming here and getting my lashes and eyebrows done by Kelly! She is super sweet! I was a little skeptical at first to start doing lashes because I wasn’t sure if it was what I wanted but Kelly was super nice and explained it all for me! I have been going to her for about 6 months for the lashes and about a year and a half for the eyebrows! Love her and the salon!!

    Kara is amazing! I’ve been her client for over three years for color and cuts. We recently cut about 10” of my naturally curly hair off for a style I get complemented on regularly! Kara listens to what you’d like and will not hesitate to tell you what is best for the health of your hair and if something will or won’t work. She’s the expert, I take her advice, and I’ve never been disappointed with the results.     First off - go to Heather! Come to GlamBar! She is amazing at IBE Extensions! Ive had extensions for going on 6 years now and Ive used glue, tape, sew in, and when I tell you this method is amazing its AMAZING! Usually the way I used to have them installed I would loose hair when removed, I would have bald spots when they were tied on the sides! Sitting here as of today I am impressed that I had maybe a few pieces came out! Also, the hair growth?! Wow! She quotes, installs, has color in salon to help you decide on your hair plan very thorough and detailed! Come to GlamBar! Everyone here is great!

    If you are looking to be a Blonde Baddie then look no further and make your appointment with Bailey!!!! She listened to my concerns about turning brassy since my hair is so dark and she set the expectations and made me B L O N DE. She also does my layers/trim and blowouts.     I am OBSESSED with my whole new look, thanks to Heather! She is pure magic, y’all. Over the last year, stress, a bout with Covid and moving to well water has taken a huge toll on my hair. I was feeling so terrible about myself and Heather brought me back to life. The before and afters are insane. She did my hair for the first time and hit every mark I asked for and then some. I can’t thank her enough, seriously. My blonde is amazing, my extensions are even more amazing than I had hoped. I cried happy tears on the way home.     Ive been to the Glam Color Bar a couple of times for facials. I started out with the Welcome Facial a few weeks ago. Mikhayla did such a great job giving me the best experience by explaining the process as she went along and was thorough telling me about which products she was using. She is very knowledgeable, happily answers questions and is reachable via her social media account. I recently went back again for a deluxe hydrafacial and my skin feels amazing. Im looking forward to going back again to maintain the fresh hydrated feeling on my face. Everyone that Ive interacted with at this salon has been pleasant and kind. The pricing is also reasonable. I highly recommend this to anyone who would like to pamper themselves or even buying a gift card for someone who might enjoy having a facial.

    Christina did a magnificent job on my hair yesterday! I was so nervous because I haven’t done anything with my hair length since precovid19 and I went short, she did exactly what I requested and I LOVE the cut and color.     Wow! I’m on the road alot so it’s very challenging to make appointments for ANYTHING. These gals were very welcoming when I was a walk-in the other day.     I initially was referred to Glam Color Bar by a friend of mine and have been getting my hair colored consistently by Heather for 2 years now. Prior to finding Glam Color Bar I tried multiple hair salons both in Nashville when I lived there and in the Lakeland area and was constantly disappointed by the salons I tried. Other salons could never quite get the blonde color I wanted and always seemed to take hours to complete their services (not to mention the hefty price tag I would end up paying when I left). With so many negative salon experiences in the past, I have been SO GRATEFUL to have found Glam Color Bar! From day one, Heather has been able to consistently match the vision I had for my hair without fail! She’s respectful of my limited time as a working professional and I always enjoy visiting the upbeat/clean/retail inspired space in the middle of my work day. I recently moved to Tampa and even with the 45 minute commute, the quality of the services and friendliness of the staff make it worth the drive. If you are on the fence about trying this salon, I highly recommend giving Glam Color Bar a try. Whether it is Heather, or another one of her other stylists, you really can’t go wrong!     Ashley is a SAINT!! When I found out my stylist was moving away I had to find a new person to trust with my hair. I started searching for a new place and looked at a few places. What I love about glam color bar is they took the time to build a wonderful website with bios for their staff. I read Ashley’s bio and knew we’d hit it off, which we did. She listened to my hair goals and was honest with me about the color. She even reached out days later to check in and see if I liked it. Not only did she reach out, she even came in on a day she’d usually not work to get me in sooner. Ashley is amazing!!

    I don’t even know where to start. The salon was beautiful and clean all the conversations I overheard the stylist were making sure their clients felt welcomed and comfortable. I can’t thank Mari enough. It’s been years and years that I finally left the salon and loved my hair. In the past I’ve always left with a bad hair cut and felt unwanted due to the amount of hair and length . Mari made my experience so seem less and it was exactly what I wanted. I will always come to her from now on and be getting my hair cut more often ☺️

    I had bleached my hair myself, and it was so horrible, I had to get it fixed. Christine did my hair, and she did not judge me at all! She literally TRANSFORMED my hair, it’s amazing, I can’t stop looking at it. Not only did she get the color and cut perfect, but from bleaching it myself, my hair felt horrible. My hair feels so soft and amazing now, I can’t thank her enough. She’s amazing, I’ll be coming here forever now. Thank you again!

    I recently went for eyebrow, tinting, eyelash tinting, and an eyelash lift. I got Kelly Wood this time and she was so amazing. I went in for an eyebrow tint and she did the most wonderful eyelash lift and eyebrow lash tint ever. I am so happy with the results and I will definitely book with her again.

    I started going to Glam in 2018 and haven’t looked back since!! Heather and her girls are the only ones I trust for all of my hair and beauty needs. My most recent obsession is IBE extensions!! I’ve always been intrigued by extensions but was afraid of damaging my already fragile hair. Heather introduced me to IBE almost 2 years ago and I am still going in for maintenance every 8 weeks because I love them so much!!

    My face was going through an absolute crisis. I booked an appointment with Mikhayla for the hydro facial and “oh my!” Mikhayla is so knowledgeable about skin and skincare (internal and external). The atmosphere is professional and relaxing and I didn’t want to leave. My face was in heaven and was repaired and still glowing days later. I immediately booked my next appointment and I am counting down the days. Highly recommend!

    My name is actually Kim Purvis I don’t know how my daughters name keeps coming up. Lol This is the BEST salon I have EVER been to. It’s warm, friendly, beautiful and has the most amazing staff. I have been going to Heather now for over 3 years and I will never go anywhere else. Heather always makes me feel like a valued customer. She is a blonde magic maker, always gets the brightest blonde without damaging my hair. (First time ever for me) I actually went to her to get lash extensions and one time of getting them done I was hooked. I get Fills every two weeks and every time they’re done to perfection. Heather has definitely made me a lifelong client and I am blessed to have found her.

    I started coming to here a few months back, and i was actually super nervous because i had been going to the same hair Stylist for over 4 years. So when i first booked they set me up with Traile, and all i can say is wow she did amazing i felt super comfortable with letting her cut my hair. Im usually not a fan of curled hair i have been rocking the straight hair since high school but i tried something new and have been doing the loose curls everyone has been doing and i absolutely love it. 10 out of 10 would recommend this place. I even have a standing appointment every saturday at this point as well. The salon is always well kept and the other stylist are amazing as well. Marivie has also done my hair a few times and she is also extremely friendly and wonderful at what she does. This place is extraordinary and you can tell that they love what they do.

    I have been going to Maravie (Mary) for a few years now and it has gotten to the point where its hard for me to trust anyone else with my hair. She is so amazing and accommodating. There have only been 2 times that I didnt like how my hair turned out, and that was because I wasnt clear at all, and she so fixed it for no charge. She always takes her time and focuses on one client at a time.

    Great Salon, great staff, and great value! My wife is very particular, to put it lightly. She left not only feeling refreshed, but also more beautiful than normal, which in itself is no small feat! The staff was entirely welcoming to my tagging along with her as she got her hair colored and trimmed. I usually have to diffuse some sort of escalation, but this salon performs professional, top-notch work and seems to go a bit above and beyond even my demanding wifes expectations! Im glad she found a place she can rely on, because like Chiropractors and Lawyers, you dont know if you have a good one or a bad one until its too late, and you are in a painful predicament!
