    I ran in the other night after dinner to grab a foundation I haven’t used in awhile so I couldn’t remember my shade. A sweet young employee named Emma offered to shade match me and was so helpful. She got out multiple shades and took her time making sure we found the perfect one. She was sweet & so helpful and made my experience great!

    Ana at the salon was amazing!! In fact all the ladies that were in the salon were. I brought my 10 year old daughter in for a haircut before she started school again and Ana did a fantastic job! She’s in love with her hair and can’t wait to show it off. They made us all feel welcomed and comfortable. Thanks for the great visit :)

    My daughter recommended this store/location for help revamping my makeup routine. Upon arriving I was greeted & helped by a wonderful young woman named Marshae. She was such a great help & super personable! She made me feel like I was getting my makeup done by a girlfriend. Everything she recommended I’ve been using for about a week now & I love the results!

    While visiting this Ulta location I was helped by Marshae, she helped me find everything I needed and was very down to earth. She was such a delight to interact with and had a great range of product knowledge. I usually go to the 98 North location but I will for sure be coming back to the location for help whenever I need new products or refills. Thanks Ulta for a great experience.

    Laura R. Is my go to at the hair salon and has been for 2 years now! She’s helped me go from red hair to black and just recently black hair to a light brown which no other stylist has been willing to do due to my long, thick, and dark hair. She is so friendly and will go to great lengths to give you the results you want! Every couple of months I get a trim and blowout from her just because the results are so confidence boosting. Best thing that could’ve happened to Ulta imo 🫶🏼

    Laura at the hair salon part of Ulta is absolutely AMAZING ! She did my hair so good! It feels amazing and looks the best it ever looked before ! She made me so comfortable and calm and let me know how much she was cutting (I have long hair and cutting it gives me anxiety) I am so happy the way i look now it helped me so much mentally getting my hair done ! I lovee her she is the best & I will be back!!!

    I was assisted by Marshae today. She was so sweet, kind, and relateable. I was a bit down when I went in, but felt totally different, by the time I left the store. She picked out great products for me to factor into a new year, new me make-up regimen. I did not feel rushed or pressure to purchase...and I really appreciate her for that. She did a FABULOUS job on my brows.....I hate to wash it all off :( . Nevertheless, she has definitely motivated me to want to do better in the make-up department. Thank you so much, Marshae!!💚

    I’ve been doing my hair with Laura at the Ulta Hair Salon for almost two years and she has been more than amazing. I appreciate her time and effort doing my hair to my expectations. If you are looking to do your hair at the Merchants Walk Ulta i would recommend Laura as your hairstylist!

    I purchased the NARS Matte Foundation without thinking twice if I wouldnt like it. Got home, opened the packaging, tried it, and hated how it looked on my skin. Just wasnt for me! I had already thrown away the packaging and didnt have the receipt either.I went back to this Ulta about a week later with the foundation. The man at the register said I could go pick out another product, and we could swap it out. He was able to look up my previous purchase with my phone number. He was very nice and helpful! I was so worried I wouldnt be able to swap the product. Customer service was great. I definitely will keep coming to this Ulta Beauty.

    If you want your eyebrows to look perfect… Maria is your girl! I’ve been to countless salons to get my eyebrows waxed. But she, has like a special ability to make waxing, comfortable and not at all painful lol. The staff that works the sales floor, are also great. Very friendly and informative. The salon ladies are also very talented and friendly. The product selection is very broad and well stocked. The store is always clean. The environment in this particular location is very welcoming. If your need to the makeup/salon world, I highly recommend shopping here and getting help from the extremely knowledgeable associates. Or, even if you’re an expert in the makeup/salon world, it’s a great place to shop.

    I went to ulta to get my hair done by Brenda Pedraza was my first time coming to her she is amazing. She did a fantastic job. I would truly recommend her if you need to get your hair done and the manager there was amazing and helpful

    I love this Ulta compared to the other one in Lakeland. Its organized nicely and the employees are always helpful and do the right amount of selling without being too pushy. Ive had my hair done in the salon which I thought came out nicely. Their stylists are knowledgeable and are considerate of what you want. They also know what an actual inch looks like. My only complaint is that it took over an hour to get me seated for my salon appointment. I had walked up and no one had asked if I needed help until I had gone up to the counter to ask about my appointment and they had switched my stylist for that day about 4 times. The time was fine as I had no plans that day but I can see how that could be annoying for others. Other than the timing, I was very satisfied with my haircut.

    I swear any Ulta I go to, nothing I want is ever in stock. When I wanted to use testers, there was no applicators anywhere. No wipes, no sponges or anything. I had to use my hands. Despite that, the service was wonderful. Everyone was helpful. I got most of what I needed but had to ordered the rest at the register which is fine but I wish they stocked more often! This Ulta seemed some compared to some I’ve been to.

    I got my hair done by Tricia last night, and she did an AMAZING job! I got highlights and a violet glaze.... it’s absolutely gorgeous! She is so sweet and a fantastic hair stylist. I live an hour and a half away but will definitely be driving back to see her again

    Took my mom in to get makeup to cover a bruise after she took a nasty fall. Rebecca helped us. She was so good with mom. Made her so comfortable and at ease. Sold her what she needed without pushing. She was great. The cashier was rather rude. Thats the reason they dont get 5 stars.

    My friend and I came in both wanting new makeup, Whitney was absolutely wonderful! She answered all our questions and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Whitney made shopping at Ulta feel like a fun girls day out. I have sent friends to Ulta and told them go see Whitney, she is exactly what customer service needs to be like. So if you are reading this review and you have questions on makeup trust me, just ask for Whitney. You are in wonderful hands.

    This past Saturday, March 12, I attended a Foam Glow 5k in Tampa. Basically, I ran through pink and yellow foam that glowed in the dark. When I got home, the hot pink color would not come out of my blonde hair. Sunday morning, I frantically showed up at Ulta at 10:00 AM. They were not open but the general manager saw the frantic look on my face and opened the door to talk to me. As I told him my story, he took me to the Ulta salon and helped me determine a solution, even though the store was not open yet. I came back at 11:00 AM (when they opened) and met with Trish, one of the head stylists. Even though she was busy with clients, she began different treatments in-between sessions. When one treatment wouldnt work, she would deep condition my hair then try another. After five treatments, we decided to call it a day. By this time it was 4:30 PM. Trish and the other staff members were all very polite and really wanted to help me find a solution to my hot pink hair. Since my hair was still pink, they didnt charge me for the treatments. I am going back tonight to color over the hot pink.Because of the professionalism and kindness of general manager, Trish and other salon staff, they have officially won me over as an Ulta customer for life.

    I never write reviews, but this time I will. I had an excellent time getting my hair cut today by Patricia. I am not a girly girl. I dont wear makeup, and dont usually do anything with my hair. She didnt pressure me into anything (which I have found most salons do) She even got me to think about highlighting my hair next time, which I think I will try for the first time ever. My haircut turned out awesome. She made sure there were no little strands to long. Loved my experience. I will definitely be going back.

    I have my hair hair cut and colored by Tricia. I could not ask for a better hairstylist! She always has my hair looking gorgeous. Tricia is very knowledgeable plus she’s always happy, she’s just a true joy! I couldn’t ask for a better hairdresser! I felt like I hit the jackpot the first time she did my hair and I feel the same every time she does it.

I was impressed with the volume of what they carry the products they carry and the really sweet Personnel who worked at the Lakeland store that day. I felt it was a little overpriced on some of the products I was familiar with and I havent been back yet so well see.

    I’m a frequent ulta shopper and I went in the buy proactiv which I’ve been using for years. Janice noticed what I was buying and recommend I try the Tula skincare and I’m OBSESSED with it. She was so kind and took the time to listen to my skin concerns and helped me pick out products that worked very well with my skin. I will definitely be shopping with her again.

    I like this Ulta pretty well. Most of the time they have what I need. What I dont like, and I dont know if this is an issue with other stores, is how the NYC area and drug store makeup is very often opened and used where customers without any morals open them and test them. I personally would never do this. I know its not necessarily Ultas fault but maybe Nyx and other drugstore brands would fare better if they had samples out like the high-end makeup. Theres a lot of drug-store makeup that are dupes but I have all but given up on the Nyx area. I am glad that I havent seen some of the stuck up employees that used to be there. Overall, I like this Ulta.

    The staff at ULTA are not only friendly ,they do amazing color,lash extension and have amazing prices on facials services and color services.They do corrective color and are always up to date with the latest. I have found usually when someone complains its because they waited to the last minute to get something done. They also are very service orientated, if you have to date our team I give it 4 stars, and there is always room to grow. Get 25% off on color for 1st clients and skincare with dermalogica. 😍😁

    I usually dont write reviews but I have had my hair done at many places and I feel like this by far has been the best Ive had my hair out of all of them. I usually see Tayrn and she does an amazing job, I always get exactly what I want, especially with color. I went someone else that was closer to home and I was greatly dissapointed where I went last time. The hair dresser wouldnt take the time to listen to what I was wanting. I felt like she was rushed to get somewhere and I told the lady that I wanted a cooler tone hair color closer to my eyebrow color which is like a dark blondeon the cool side and that i had wanted my bangs under my eyebrows. I heard her kept saying that she was going to add silver toner to one of the other ladies and i had said no I dont want that. Well guess what, I walk out of that salon with grey/silver hair and my bangs were crooked. one side of them was a little longer than my eyebrows and the other side was above my eyebrows. I pay over 100 dollars to get my hair color done right.I went back to Ulta to see a different stylist named Tricia. She was very kind and actually broke down the step before she put anything in my hair so I would understand what was going on. She took her time to make each strand she was coloring right. She showed me all the different color swatches so we could really make sure. What Ive appreciated with both Tricia and Tayrn is that they actually take their time. I set time to get my hair color done, even if it take 3-4 hours. I pay over 100 dollars for my hair color and just like every other girl, we just want our hair to look presentable.I was very pleased. Also there was a new salon manager, I believe his name was Robert, he was very heartwarming and offered me coffee while I was getting my hair done. I felt comfortable and relaxed that my hair was going to be done the way I wanted it to be done. So thank you, I highly recommend them. Make an appointment with them, and be patient if it takes longer than you expect because I was very happy with the results. :)
