    I just want to preface that I am super picky with my hair. The moment I called and scheduled and Julia was able to schedule me for the same day, it was already a good start. Then I met my stylist Hailey, I have never felt so heard and understood in the way that I did, so i knew I was in good hands. The way that she spoke to me as a client, made me want to book a balayage and highlight with her as soon as possible, she did such a phenomenal job and made me so comfortable that I happily would recommend anybody else to her in a heartbeat. I have never been so obsessed with my hair this way before. You need to book with Hailey asap and you wonā€™t regret it at all.

    Melanie has been my stylist for several years now; shes attentive to my requests, professional and always on time. She is great with coloring, highlights and hair layering which are my main choices of style. My hair is long, curly, dry and requires extra care which i always receive. The salon is always clean and the personnel is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend Melanie and this Salon.

    I saw Ashley Peterson for a hair cut and color. She is amazing. What I most like about her is that she actually takes the time to listen to what you want - not what she thinks would work - but you! I love the way my hair looks, even after Ive left the salon.

    J J Salon is the Best Salon I have been in for years. They are friendly and welcoming from my first phone call to make an appointment to each appointment that Iā€™ve gone to ! . Paris is my stylist and she is a delight . So sweet and personable and a really skilled stylist . I am so happy I found them and that each time I go it is clean and bright and the staff all work together to make it a wonderful experience ! Thank you Paris and JJ Salon

    Mikayla is the absolute best stylist in Tampa and the sweetest person ever. She pays so much attention to detail and cares so much about each client, I couldnā€™t ask for a better person to do my hair! I recommend her to everyone I knowā€”she absolutely saved me from a horrible bleaching done by a different stylist at a different studio and has transformed my hair. I couldnā€™t thank her enough!!!!

    I have to say, J Joseph Salon in Land O Lakes is a great salon.. top notch place. They make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Youā€™re greeted by the receptionist and then asked if youā€™d like something to drink. This is the place I go for all my hair needs. Each girl has their own unique style and deliver great results. This is a great place to go for a beautiful hairstyle. Iā€™ve gone to other places but they never truly deliver that complete perfection J Josephā€™s gives. I just love the place and all the girls are the best.

    Mikayla from Land o Lakes is so funny, kind, amazing, smart, and talented. If being on time was a crime sheā€™d be arrested! She always makes time in her busy schedule for her clients. I walked in unannounced apart from my appointment time to buy products to support her and J.Joseph as a small business and she made time to guide me through exactly what products would work best for what I was looking for. She even went out of her way to pick up a product I had been wanting from another storeā€™s location to make sure it would be at the store I visit for my next appointment. She truly cares about her work and it shows! She is consistently going above and beyond for her clients. Iā€™ve been going to her for years now. Iā€™ve recommended to her to several friends and they all live her just as much as I do and travel long distances to see her. I canā€™t say enough great things about Mikayla. She is a HUGE asset to the J.Joseph business as a whole.

    I am so glad that we found this salon! Kat is amazing! My daughter and I have curly hair, so Iā€™m very picky about choosing a hairdresser! Kat is knowledgeable, professional, and extremely talented! The girls at the front reception are always pleasant and polite. I highly recommend this salon and especially going to see Kat!

    Nothing but great things to say about J.Joseph and specifically Kali Brown!She has taken my hair color from one end of the color spectrum to the next! I have long thick hair so an extreme color change can be scary! She has always kept my hair healthy and explained steps and process that will ensure its health!Kali is also the ONLY person I have ever trusted to cut my daughters hair! Her hair is curly and completely opposite of mine! Kali is great at giving her the look she wants and educating both of us on how to care for it!

    I always get my haircut and colored by Kali . In the summer sometimes I mess around with some beachy highlights. She is very knowledgeable and always does a fantastic job. I really love the way when I want to experiment with new styles She gives me the Best advice on what particular cut would compliment my face shape best. I am always impressed and she never ceases to amaze me. She is also a very fun, friendly and easy to talk to girl that makes sitting for hours in a stylist chair enjoyable! Thanks Kali! Ive been coming to see Kali Brown at J. Joseph for my hair for going on 10 years now. Ive moved maybe 4 or 5 times within that timeframe and still have always made the trip to go see her. Worth it! Ive never been disappointed and Ive always left her feeling like a million bucks. Thank you Kali for always listening to my wants and needs and making me so beautiful :) Please, if youre reading this.. book your next hair appointment with Kali Brown.     Love love love this salon!! I told my stylist Ashley what I wanted (even without photos) and without fail it came out better than I ever imagined! She made me feel so comfortable with the entire process and walked me through step by step by step.     I am not joking when I say this is the best haircut Iā€™ve ever gotten. My stylist, Megan, was an expert on curly cuts, and she taught me all the products I can use without over-selling them to me. She also taught me the ways to style my hair, and explained every step. All of the staff were very professional and kind, and the salon is adorable! It was also affordable - for a wash, cut, and style, it was $60!

    Madison is the bomb. Seriously. I walked into Jjoseph salon a year ago with home bleached deep fried golden retriever hair and walked out a shiny, silver goddess. Madison swore we could save my locks but I decided to chop it because Iā€™m lazy and didnā€™t want to deal with it. The before and after photos attached are from my first appointment and the magic correction she did. Weā€™ve since done platinum, various blondes/greys, and weā€™re currently playing with pinks on the color wheel. AND MY HAIR IS HEALTHY AND HAPPY through all these shenanigans.     I came in without an appointment on a busy day after receiving the absolute worst hair coloring/cut I could have imagined at another salon. Everyone there was so understanding and made me feel confident that they could help me. They somehow squeezed me in and Jessica got to work color correcting my hair. When I say she did an amazing job, thatā€™s an understatement. She made me feel understood and I walked out feeling so confident and happy after coming to her in tears. I highly recommend this salon and personally will not be going anywhere else. I am beyond grateful for Jessica and everyone at the salon stepping up to help me!

    Stylists are very personable and the cut is consistently on point especially Hailey. Highly recommended if you want a haircut that you dont have to let grow out before you like it. The salon atmosphere is like a high end SPA that is very clean and organized. I almost dozed off during the hair wash since it was so calming.

    I rarely get my hair cut but I needed it done due to my ends getting really tangled lately. I did a lot of research of places in the area with good reviews and affordable prices and JJs got the best reviews.I had an appointment with Devyn and she was amazing! From the minute I walked in she asked me what I wanted, listened to what I asked for and was very patient with me and gentle with my hair.A couple days after getting my hair cut the salon called and asked how I enjoyed my service, I mentioned I loved it but I decided I wanted to go a bit shorter after all. They said if I come back within a week of my original service it will be complimentary. Devyn once again did an amazing job. Highly recommend her!!

    I never thought I was going to love my hair again or feel as good as I do now. My hair was such a low point for me and I was hiding in a hat all the time. Before meeting Madison, my hair was damaged and so thin you could see through it. Not to mention the color was awful. Madison literally transformed my hair and my confidence. She got my hair healthy again and eventually we were able to do color, highlights and extensions a couple nights ago. She nailed it above and beyond. I feel like my best version of me for the first time in a long time. She is incredibly talented, and cares about hair integrity. I hugged her like 5 times after! She is amazing.

    This salon is fantastic! Especially Rakeya! I moved from out of state and it had been waaaay too long since I had a color and cut. Rakeya is a styling magician. She took my long outgrown blonde (and grays) mess and took 10 years off me with a beautiful balayage and added dimension with baby lights. It is soft and silky, plus lots of movement with my new layers. She thoroughly explained everything she was doing and showed me how to style my new look. If you need a fresh look, definitely go here!

    I was ready for a hair style change and I could not be happier with my new look. I had not had my hair cut in a couple years and was a little nervous. Megan Conn was my stylist, she took the time to look at the pictures I brought and helped me pick the best cut for my hair type. She has such a bubbly personality and put me at ease. She also took her time to show me how to style my new cut. I liked how she didnt push the additional purchase of hair products and I feel that what I did purchase was well worth the money.     I was really hesitant to switch hair salons because I had been going to the same one for years. But, Iā€™m super happy I found J Joseph and started seeing Christina! She did a phenomenal job. Iā€™m not very used to switching things up when it comes to my hair so I came in expecting to do the same stuff I usually do to it. She took the time to make suggestions that I feel like really make my hair look so much better. Iā€™m very happy with how it was cut!     I received a cut & glaze color by Kali and I am very satisfied with the results. The atmosphere of the salon is very peaceful and professional. Everyone is very friendly. It was also very clean inside. Kali is extremely sweet, knowledgeable and gives the best head massages after she washes your hair. She was very attentive to my concerns and eased my nerves (last cut I received was a disaster, 1st time in a salon in a long time!). I wanted a blue black color on my hair and she suggested the glaze because she said it was hydrating and better for my hair. I was satisfied with the results.     Let me start by saying I have never been to this salon prior but I am so happy I decided to go. The staff is so professional, friendly, and helped get me in right away. Now being that I have seen two other stylist at other salons who were unable to get me more at the color I was desiring just to give my hair more of a warm feeling and not be so yellow and brassy I must say my hopes where not that high. I ended up seeing Christina and honey let me say she a phenomenal job! Literally the only person who really listened to what I was wanting and made it happen! She also gave me so much advice and information on how to help my hair get back healthy since I decided to bleach my hair on my own. Literally never again will I do that. She had me feeling so brand new walking out the salon finally not having to feel all insecure about my hair looking crazy. I will definitely be back to see Christina and you should too!

    I have been so afraid to go back to a salon after my stylist moved and I tried a few others and felt uncomfortable and didnā€™t get what I asked for some have messed up my hair completely. Well for that reason I attempted to touch up my roots my self and fried my hairā€¦ I was so afraid I would have to shave it off. But I came to J. Josephā€™s salon in land o lakes after finding them on tiktok and I fell in love. Immediately felt welcomed. Itā€™s gorgeous inside friendly front desk workers. Made my appointment same day. My mom got her eyebrows done and I had an olaplex treatment. Kali was our stylist with her I believe intern (I forget her name). They both were so sweet and recommended so many options I can do at home. No judgment. Before even starting they did a one on one consult to see what I needed before just jumping in like most would. The prices are a bit much for me personally but so worth it! My hair already feels so much better! Definitely will be coming back to kali when Iā€™m ready to color again. NO MORE DIY BLEACHING FOR ME.

    I found Maria Padillas name when searching for someone who is good with curly hair. She just cut and colored my hair and it came out great. Best haircut Ive had in a long time. I wasnt originally thrilled with how the color took to my grey hair but Maria did a retouch without a problem and I like it much better. Would definitely recommend her. Shes friendly and good at what she does. I even followed her from the Lutz location to Land O Lakes. Worth the trip.

    I have been going to this salon for 11 years. Linda Boyinton is just the best stylist ever hands down. She is a Master Stylist so she is a little pricy but you get more than what you for for. Her coloring skills are second to none. I have never found a stylist who had both coloring talent and cutting talent to the excellence she provides. She is totally attentive to your desires and gives you expert advise regarding the texture and condition of your hair in regards to your requests. She spends the necessary time to understand what you want and she will tell you what to expect. She has directed me through different stages of my aging process in regards to style and management. You could not get anyone better. If you are not totally satisfied with any product or service, she will not rest until you are. She does her utmost to meet your time requests and very respectful of your time spent in her chair. She has skillfully worked on celebrities and is a profession through and through yet very easy to communicate and listen. I only wish her the very best because that is what you will get from her.

She does a great job figuring out how my hair behaves and how to cut it to make it look its best. Shes also helped me cope with Florida frizz and tennis hat hair and oops, I colored my hair too soon and the ends are fried. Highly recommended.

    Stopped here a couple weeks ago. I had gotten my hair colored at another salon, but needed to get some spots evened out. They were very friendly on the phone, and were able to get me in same day on a Saturday. Kaylee helped me out, and although shes very young, she already seems to have the knowledge and experience of someone whos been in the business 10+ years. I pestered her with questions (as it was my first time coloring my hair), and not only did she have thorough answers, but she was very patient and didnt seem bothered or annoyed when responding. I felt comfortable she knew what she was doing. My hair came out much better, and the price was extremely reasonable. I definitely recommend trying this place out, and ask for Kaylee if you can. Shes an asset to the salon.

    I have been going to this salon for over 6 years. My husband and son also go there for their haircuts. We love this place! They make you feel at home. The people who work there are very personable and friendly. The haircuts are always top notch, and the hair dressers are always training to learn the latest trends and the skills to make it happen. Roy, the owner, is always present and hands-on. Rob cuts me and and my sons hair, and Linda cuts my husbands hair. They both do an outstanding job. And, Ashley runs the front desk beautifully. And, although I havent personally experienced the spa side, they do offer many spa treatments (e.g. nails, facials, massage, etc.). And, they even offer you a drink when you get there (wine, soda, water, etc.) The entire salon has a great atmosphere with beautiful decor and friendly faces. And, its truly a pleasure to give them my business.

    They were great! We had an appointment with Jackie, she cut my daughters very very curly and very very tangled and matted hair.     I looked for a long time to find a good hair dresser. I just moved to the area, and searched online for a place. Looked at lots of salons, and checked reviews. I read some great reviews on Angies List about J Joseph Salon and Ray, the owner. I decided to give it a shot. I went in for my appointment and had an awesome consultation. Ray took his time in talking with me about what I wanted and what his visions were for my hair. He asked me to come back on another day, because what he wanted to do with my hair would take him 3 hours and he had other clients that day. I loved all of his suggestions and really liked the fact that he asked me to come on another day so that he could focus on my hair. He could of had me stay and rushed my process, just to make the money, but he didnt. That wasnt his concern, he just wanted to make sure he had time to work on my hair. The entire process was great. The girls at the front desk are super nice and explained everything to me. I went back yesterday for my color and style, and it was awesome. The price is higher than other places, but you get what you pay for. I will never go to anyone else and I will recommend this salon to everybody I know. Keep up the good work!

    Lisa is a genius! She is incredibly knowledgeable and able to give me exactly what I want when it comes to my cut and color. I have long hair and want a vibrant and beautiful red color. She is always spot on giving me the color I want for my hair snd so helpful when it comes to teaching me how to get that perfect style that is on trend. She also give me tips on how to care for my red so I dont lose the vibrancy of my color. Lisa is the BEST!

    Been coming to this salon for years to see Kali. She knows her stuff and does a killer job every time ! The newley renovated salon looks beautiful with such a relaxing vibe. Definitely wouldnt go anywhere else. Over all, amazing staff that provides top quality services.

    I hadnt had my hair done in a couple months and I wanted to try something new. Niniveth, at the Lutz location, went above and beyond and gave me exactly everything I wanted for but even better. I really liked that she gave me a price quote before she started and she let me know what she was doing every step of the way. She was so friendly and I was excited to make my next appointment with her.

    Worked with a few stylists. They all are so unique and talented! In my opinion I think my best cut came from Ashley P. The consultation was clear, understandable, personal and I got the prettiest cut that Ive had in over 5 years!

    My stylist is Rob and he always does a great job with my color and cuts and managing the changes that I want! Another great asset to the salon is Rosetta, she is a great nail tech with extraordinary vision. Compliments to the front desk staff for always being welcoming and helpful!

    Lisa is a color savant. She is the best colorist I have ever gone to & Ive been getting my hair colored for 35 years . She colors highlights and does balayage on my hair She also is excellent at cutting and styling.Additionally ,her assistant Alex gives an amazing wash and style and Anastasia who is another stylist does the most fabulous updos you have ever seen.I am very happy with the salon and always reccomend it to everyone

    Went to J. Joseph Salon after hours of research and reading reviews. I decided to try Ashley P. in the Land O Lakes location. So very glad I did! After 17 years of going to the same girl at another salon, I got exactly what I ask for from Ashley. Highly recommend her for balayage, which I received. She is terrific, went above and beyond.

    I canā€™t express how much i enjoyed my visit! I asked for a very difficult task, i wanted a light blonde balayage from my dark brown hair. My stylist Blake was amazing!! He is veryyy talented and just overall amazing! If youā€™re thinking about getting your hair done, definitely have him heā€™s excellent! Canā€™t wait to return!

    I have been here 3 times in a row now for my haricuts. The staff is very friendly. The hair stylist always understands your expectations and makes sures you are happy at the end. I have had an awesome experience with their expert hair stylist Ashley. The cost of the haircuts also includes the blow-drying or any styling of your choice.

    I visited the location in Lutz for the 1st time this past Saturday and got a wash, cut, blow dry / style, and makeup application by Amanda. I must say I was very happy with my visit, my hair and makeup looked beautiful for my baby shower. I have been searching for a salon in the Lutz area since I moved here 2 years ago and J Joseph Salon is it! And, the thank you card they sent me 2 days later sealed the deal. Great overall experience and very reasonably priced!
