I came in a blowout and mentioned to Shak I wasn’t happy with my color I had done previously at another salon. He pointed out exactly what he himself didn’t think was done properly and explained how he would fix it. I took a leap of faith and let him do his thing on my hair. I’m so happy I did! The color is now much more natural and blended perfectly. The highlights are more evenly placed and the brass is gone. What I appreciated the most is that Shak offered to write down what he did for my hair so that I can maintain it at home in NY until I can get back to Miami. Highly recommend.

I always dread getting my hair done. I have been to the best hair salons around the world - London, Paris, Spain, NYC - always leaving the chair either feeling ok or extremely disappointed. Today was different! For the first time in the 11 years I have went from brunette to blond, I can say with ease and admiration that Shak from Oren Salon is a true color artist. I have never been happier leaving a hair salon… more appropriately an artist studio! The mastery, skill, and perfectionism Shak showed is unmatched by my experience as a blond. Not only did he correct the timeline of bad experiences running through the length of my hair, but he did it with speed and fantastic customer service. He connected with me and knew exactly what to do to! My hair is healthier, shinier and the most natural blond a brunette can be. I will not be putting my hair in anyone else’s hands from now on… a flight to Miami will be worth every penny to sit in Shark’s chair going forward! Also, I am extremely excited for his new personal line of hair care products to come out next week!!!

Shak is by FAR the best hairstylist in Miami, South Florida, the country and honestly - probably the whole world. He and his team at Oren are so welcoming and fun to be around and most importantly he KNOWS his way around a head of hair. He’s truly a master of his craft. After living here for 4 years and trying multiple salons today was the first time I left a hair appointment happy with how my hair turned out. I can’t stop looking at it! It’s incredible what he can do. After a previous stylist botched my haircut, he came in to save the day and somehow managed to make my hair appear even fuller and longer. His techniques are a science that you can tell he has perfected over many years of experience and the products he has developed like his shampoo, conditioner and hair mask are unlike any other. My hair feels and looks INCREDIBLE. I wish I could see him every week. I’m never going anywhere else for my hair ever again. If Shak ever retires it’ll be a sad sad day for south Florida. I have been going to Oren for over a decade now, and I can say with no hesitation he is truly an artist. If you are looking for quick and cheap, this is not your hairstylist. Oren takes his time and is a perfectionist. He will be honest with you on what is achievable (and what is not) and he is very fair. In my humble opinion Oren and his brother Shak are the best in Miami. Book in advance and prepare to be amazed.

I have super curly Middle Eastern hair which I colored a few years ago and the color just left me so dry and damaged I missed my “Virgin” hair but the protein treatment got it back. Oren and Shaked, have a way of totally exceeding your expectations. Honestly if I came in and didn’t tell them what I wanted, I still would have trusted them to surprise me. I am so picky about my hair, so that speaks volumes… Their nurishing treatment made my hair so smooth, even before cutting of my split ends. They have a really good makeup artist too, who I highly recommend. Laura, and the other girls were super nice and accommodating, and know how to deliver on customer service very well. I recommend this place to everyone, and beyond worth the investment. I will be back!!

Shak and his team are the ultimate dream team! Upon entering the salon I was greeted by Laura who did a wonderful job of making me feel welcome and had the lovely Jay shampoo my damaged locks. I came in to book and the first person to greet me was Jenny. They didn’t have an appointment that day, but as she promised. she texted me with openings for the next day. If she hadn’t, I wouldn’t have come in. I needed the gentle nudge of a human taking care of me to take care of myself. I booked for a blowout. My hair was frizzy and sad and my roots were needing a color. Shak offered to color my roots and I declined, he was not pushy. I looked at myself in the mirror and I really needed some love. He said he had the time to take care of me and he really did. I ended up getting a color, cut and a protein treatment. My hair feels like silk and it glimmers, it’s so shiny. Alexandra took care of washing and was a support to Shak so he could take care of all the clients. She was lovely, polite and kind. While Alexandra took care of me, I watched Shak take the same amount on a child that he took with me (she hugged him when she saw herself). I went to Oren salon to just get a single process.I live out of town ans was in need of covering my gray. He I had an appointment with Shaked. I felt immediately at home. Everyone from Duval to Shaked’s assistant were so sweet and only wanted me to feel good and at home. I felt in good hands. Shaked gave me his opinion of my hair which was in need of help. It had a lot of breakage and I felt my color wasn’t right. He pointed out what I had always been feeling on the inside and he went to work. I blindly trusted him and there was good reason to. He turned my hair around. He used their proprietary protein product on it as well as a different base and gloss. He cut it afterwards. I did not feel pushed into anything! What he did made me feel great at the end. He also shared with me the base color info to give to my person back at home. He gave me tips on what to do and not to do moving forward as well as money saving products and advice. I felt at the end not only did I find a great stylist but I also gained a friend. I highly recommend Shaked for any of your styling needs from color to cut or anything else. He really knows a lot about hair.
