I’ve been a patient at Lincoln Road Dermatology for over two years, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care I’ve received. The team is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, having helped me identify two precancerous basal skin lesions early on, which was invaluable for my health. They also provided an excellent referral to a specialist, ensuring I received the best possible treatment.In addition to skin cancer screenings, the team at Lincoln Road Dermatology has been instrumental in managing an outbreak of cystic acne that developed in my late 30s. Their thoughtful approach and tailored treatment plan have made a significant difference in my skin’s health and appearance. I’m grateful for their expertise and highly recommend them to anyone looking for skilled, compassionate dermatologic care.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Marcy Alvarez at Lincoln Road Dermatology! Every time I go in for a skin check, I leave with not only glowing skin but also a mini therapy session (without the extra charge)! 😂 Marcy is like the best friend who just happens to know everything about skin. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and yet still somehow feels like that one friend you can talk to about anything.My skin’s never been better, but let’s be real — I’m almost more excited to catch up with Marcy every time I go back. She’s got this way of making you feel like you’re the only patient that matters, even though her office is buzzing. Plus, she’s hilarious, personable, and truly makes the experience enjoyable. Who knew Id be looking forward to my next dermatologist appointment?!

Dr. Alvarez is fantastic. I have had a variety of skin issues including acne, rosacea, aging and have been to multiple dermatologists in the S. Florida area over 20+ years including some of the most highly regarded practitioners. My skin has never been better than it is currently. Dr. Alvarez really knows her practice and has been able to diagnose and recommend solutions that no one else has previously that have really worked for me. Have also had cosmetic dermatology and find her to take a cautious approach, nothing is overdone and pricing very reasonable. I dont often write recommendations unless so exceptionally good or bad that it seems needed. In this case, I recommend Dr. Alvarez without reservation.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Alvarez for years. She is a great listener, honest, and trustworthy. She’s easy to talk to. I have NEVER felt like she is upselling me on services. On the contrary… she focuses on whats necessary for my skin. I have basic needs, but she treats me with importance. She’s also great with my teen who has bad acne… she’s patient and nonjudgmental.

Dr Alvarez has been my dermatologist for about a decade. Her care is excellent. Her staff is wonderful. I can honestly say that my skin is better today than it was whem she began caring for it way back when. Shes got the pix to prove it. Every time I leave the office I leave with a big smile. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for great care.

Dr. Alvarez is very experienced and professional, without hesitations nor guesses, she diagnosed my skin issues immediately upon looking at my face, prescribed the medicines right away, which worked slowly but effectively. I had been to at least 5 different dermatologists before including (supposedly) prestigious UM dermatologists, all gave me different diagnostics and prescribed me expensive medicines that didnt work. My colleague Maria referred Dr. Alvarez to me; Im very grateful for their help.

Dr. Alvarez is patient, thorough and a complete professional. She is by far the best dermatologist in Miami. If you want to look like a plastic toy, she is not the dermatologist for you. If you want cosmetic enhancements, she does them in a way that look completely natural and organic. And if you have a medical skin issue she is extremely thorough and diligent. She has saved so many lives that could have been lost, unnecessarily, to skin cancer. Other dermatologists who focus mostly on cosmetic will overlook skin disorders that require a skilled expert. Not her. She is a consummate medical expert, which is rare to find in Miami, a town that sadly values vanity over competency far too often.

Very caring competent friendly down to earth person who has the resume to support the community unlike any other. I am grateful she helped me eradicate a skin condition. Ultimately it took alot of research on my part to find a cure but without her help getting there it wouldnt of happened.

Dr. Alvarez is a wonderful dermatologist. So glad I found her! I am here on vacation in the Miami area over the holidays. I developed an intensely itchy rash on my legs that did not respond to hydrocortisone and allergy meds. I was desperately searching for a dermatologist to see me. Dr. Alverez was kind enough to fit me in on Christmas Day! Her medical knowledge, bedside manner, and kind demeanor were very impressive. She obtained a thorough history and explained her diagnosis and plan of care in a way that was clear. Highly recommend her! 5 star! A++ experience. Best dermatology practice on the beach. Super clean and peaceful office. Great staff, highly efficient, no surprises with billing or insurance. If you want cosmetic services theyre available. Have always been seen on time. Unlike at least one other DERM office Ive visited at 5th and Washington, they actually listen to my concerns and address them. Doc is highly personable with good chair-side manner and laughs at my jokes. Cannot recommend these gals enough!!

Thank you Dr. Alvarez! I am so pleased with my Botox and under eye fillers. Yes I get botox and fillers and am not afraid to admit it :)Last week we did Botox on my forehead and went back today to get some under eye fillers. Not even a bruise and it looks so good. Very natural. So happy, I smile when I look in the mirror.
