Ellie was awesome, shes super kind and sweet. I had brow powder done with frontal ombre and she took her time to get the pre-shape until I was satisfied to begin the actual procedure and Im VERY picky with my eyebrows. Towards the end, she came up with a shape that was better than I had in mind and was happy to commit to it. Her staff is also very kind and professional. I was texted with a few pics on after care and received a cream for my brows along with a sample of a cleanser to cleanse my eyebrows. Even though it hasnt even been 24 hrs at this point and theyre pretty dark, my family was very happy with the results. Im totally happy I came here. I consulted at another place prior and I felt like that lady didnt understand my needs for my brows, but not Ellie. What really attracted me to her was that she used to work for Anastasia, which is my holy grail brand for brow products so I knew she understood eye brows. But after 20 years of drawing on my brows, I got tired of it and said no more, not in the age where we have modern techniques as opposed to the old school literal tattooed eye brows. In the end, you get what you pay for and Ellie is quality.

Decided to come see Ellie For my first ever Brow lamination and it was the best decision I could’ve ever made for my brows.Four years I’ve been very unhappy with the appearance of my brows. I’ve seen other artists who did microblading and then powder PMU but I never liked the final result and I couldn’t figure out why.Finally someone brought up to my attention that my Eyebrows were very unruly and simply needed some grooming and they recommended I get lamination.I looked to no further than Ellie Who is one of the best Brow artist in Miami.I came to see her All The Way From Aventura On Christmas Eve And she provided me with a lot of valuable Education regarding my particular brows and gave me the most beautiful nicely groomed and shaped brows I’ve ever had.It has now been 72 hours since my brow lamination, I have set my Brows with a clear setting gel and they look absolutely Perfect there’s no need for me to put on brow makeup.I’m obsessed with my Eyebrows And I will definitely consider returning to Ellie for my Eyebrows needs.

I don’t usually wear makeup, except for special dressy occasions with my family. So, I also had never had any permanent makeup done on my face. However, it was bugging me that my eyebrows, the “frame to the face”, did not look the way I wanted them to look. I always had one eyebrow that was shorter than the other and that had less hair than the other.In honor of my 57th birthday, I decided I needed a major transformation. I had my thick black greying hair bleached and dyed silver grey. Then, I decided to have my eyebrows “corrected” and found Ellie’s Brows and Beauty Salon online and saw that they had good reviews on Yelp.com.I went for an initial consultation with Amy at Ellie’s Brows and Beauty Salon. During that visit, she explained to me what ombre powder brows were and that they were softer and more natural than micro-blading my eyebrows. She used a black eyebrow pencil to sketch out an eyebrow design over my eyebrows to give me an idea of what ombre powder brows would look like on me. She also tweezed and waxed the few stray hairs that did not fit in with the eyebrow design. I really liked how I looked with the eyebrow design she did on top of my eyebrows.I returned for the actual procedure. Amy measured my eyebrows. Then she sketched out the eyebrow design with a black eyebrow pencil. Thereafter, when I agreed with how the eyebrow design looked on me, she numbed my eyebrows and use a pen-like device with a small needle to apply tattoo pigment along the lines she had drawn with the black eyebrow pencil. The procedure lasted 2 hours. The first eyebrow and the skin around it was not sensitive at all and it felt like my eyebrow was being tickled when Amy was applying the tattoo over it. The second eyebrow was more sensitive and required additional numbing gel. It felt like the sting of a mosquito bite on that eyebrow when Amy was applying the tattoo over it. Overall though, the process wasn’t that painful.I kept the eyebrow tattoos dry the first two days and only washed around the brows or used makeup removing wipes around but not on the brows. Thereafter, I washed my entire face including the brows very gently with Cetaphil Facial Cleanser and splashed water on my face to rinse off the cleanser and patted my face including the eyebrows dry (You can use a paper towel or a clean terry cotton towel.) I followed the instructions Amy gave me not to let my eyebrows get wet other than when I was washing my face gently. I used the plastic shields she gave me to cover my eyebrows when I was washing and conditioning my hair in the shower. I also liberally but gently applied the tube of “After Inked” ointment/cream on my eyebrows thrice a day after washing my face including my eyebrows and patting them dry.Four days later, the scabs started to peel off by themselves and I allowed them to peel gradually without trying to interfere with the healing process. The eyebrows were itchy occasionally but I resisted the urge to scratch them per the advice given me by Amy. Now, without the scabs, my eyebrows have heeled or are healing and they are not as dark but look more natural and softer. They look great whether I don’t wear any other makeup or whether I add eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara to my eye makeup.Thanks so much, Amy! I adore the ombre powder brows you gave me and they frame my face perfectly!Now, I plan to take my 70-something year old mother to get her eyebrow tattoos that she had done in her home country of Malaysia redone or “corrected” since the black eyebrows with a purple-grey hue doesn’t match her freshly-dyed reddish brown hair color.

I am from the era of skinny little lines for eyebrows, but after years of plucking they quit growing. Now that heavier eyebrows are back I have been having them tattooed for many years. I have been going to Ellie for my eyebrows and lash lifts for a little over two years now and I am so happy to have found her! After years of threading, my eyebrows were uneven and even though they were thick, I had missing patches and they looked more like rainbows instead of that arched look that I (along with the rest of the world) was going for! Ellie gave my eyebrows life when she slowly started shaping my arches and getting them to fill in. Her one plea was to STOP TOUCHING THEM! DON’T TWEEZE THEM she would say over and over again! After months of her services, it was well worth it! My eyebrows looked great and then I started with the lash lifts. I have long lashes that grow straight down and never curl with the lash curler and/or mascara. The lift was life changing and addicting! I just recently had the Powder Brows done for that polished look and she did not disappoint! She is very professional, clean and passionate about her work and I will follow her business wherever she goes!

So I am a very detailed person, so warning, this will be a very detailed review! I found Ellie after months of research and years of wanting to get something done to my brows to eliminate the daily task of drawing them in with my not so steady hand, given that as I hit my 40s they became very sparse. All of Ellie’s before and after pics looked amazing and I liked the fact that she had pictures of women of various ages and skin tones.I made an appointment for a consult which was booked several weeks out (there is something reassuring about an artist whose schedule is so busy you can’t get in right away). I arrived for my consult and was immediately struck by how clean her salon was (my sister is a dermatologist so that kind of thing matters to me).Ellie her self was very sweet and took the time to explain the options she though would probably work best for me and why. Then she drew in my brows so I could get an idea of what “powdering”, the look she recommended for me would look like on me. She has a very gentle touch and after I saw her work I didn’t want to wash my face for days as I loved the look! I booked an appointment for powdering several weeks out.On the day of the appointment I was pretty nervous and she reassured me that my feeling were normal. She explained all the steps to me and then she got started. I have a ZERO pain tolerance and the process wasn’t painful to me at all. When she was done she had me look in the mirror to ensure I was happy with the result. I was, but she made clear that if I saw anything that I didn’t like or that was off, she would address it with no problem. I was extremely happy and she explained in detail what I could expect in the next few days and weeks, explained what I needed to do for after care. It’s been 2 weeks now, with no surprises and I am obsessed with how great they look! I am scheduled for a follow up/touch up if needed in 6 weeks.I am over the moon with her work and the whole experience. She is truly 5 star and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend he to anyone!

I had my first experience here in early 2022 with Amy and she was incredible! A few months ago I needed to make another appointment but she was already booked so I went somewhere else and my eyebrows turned out terrible....I waited for them to grow back out and went back to Amy yesterday and she made them look great again!
