    UPDATE:::Updating my rating to 5 stars due to my recent experience. After my 1 star rating I was contacted by Gaby (the manager) right away in order to address my concerns and to make it up to me.I went back and was assisted by Maritza who did a great job. She was very thorough, gentle and it was painless. Very happy and satisfied with today’s experience.I recently moved to Miami and had been looking for a place to get my Brazilian wax. Decided to give Uni K a try since it’s close to where I live and the reviews were great. I’m not satisfied with the service provided since the person who assisted me was not thorough at all. I even had to ask for areas of the Brazilian which are supposed to be waxed for her to take care of. Also, after reading the reviews, no cooling gel or anything was applied, which at other places that I’ve been to, they actually apply something afterwards.

    I live out of state however I always make sure I have an appointment while I’m in town. I absolutely love this place. It’s the best wax experience ive ever had, they even give you a disposable ice pack to sooth your freshly waxed skin. The staff is wonderful. I have practically no skin issues afterwards as opposed to other places. I just wish there was a location in my state but until then I’ll happily visit when I’m in Miami!

    BRICKELL LOCATION IS AMAZING! I can’t express enough how professional they are, how clean the salon is, the staff is so accommodating, and how well all the technicians work. I’ve been coming to this location for about 2 years and I can’t complain about anything.Maritza, is my go-to technician. She is so knowledgeable, works clean, thorough and does an amazing wax. She is sweet, attentive, minimal pain with her, and goes the extra mile for her clients. When Maritza isn’t there I try to book Veronica. She’s just as great! Over all, I’ve never had a single bad experience with any technician or the other staff members at the brickell location.Even after moving to coral gables, I still make the drive to brickell UniK Wax every 2 weeks.     I book the Brazilian with Maritza and I cannot rave about her enough! She is extremely meticulous and thorough, yet gets the service done in a timely manner. For someone that’s detail oriented she makes sure you are satisfied with the service completely before she’s done. Since it is a private area, for most this can be an intimidating situation but she makes sure you are comfortable throughout the whole process. The room has a fan and also they add a cooling gel + ice pack after .. which is SUCH a game changer. I highly recommend UNI K in Brickell and Maritza 😊

    First time back after 5 years due to a bad experience at another salon. Let me share that after being serviced by Maritza G. I will definitely be a long time customer.     Zuleyka is amazing at what she does. She is super friendly and professional and really takes a good look to make sure no hairs are missed. This location is really clean, quick, and easy.     Uni K is the place to go for waxes in Brickell. Beatriz, Laura, and Maritza have been taking care of my waxing needs for years. Booking is easy.     I always enjoy coming here and Beatrice does an amazing job. I usually get my lip, chin, eyebrows and sometimes nose done, and she makes it painless. The facilities are also very clean. Four stars because sometimes there is extra wax left on my face that I end up finding pieces of throughout the day. Nonetheless, I still return because I think the staff makes the place and my eyebrows always look great.

    They accept walk ins! Super convenient location and hours of service. Price is fair for body waxing. The technicians are pretty thorough and fast. Be ware of the waxing rooms next to the gym (left side) - the weights hit some of the rooms and it vibrates causing some disruption during the service.

The wax here is very soft compared to others places which requires more strips so idk if you’d rather a harder wax with a more intense pull but less strips. Depends on how sensitive your skin is.     This place is great. The only place I know to be so meticulous about the client’s comfort. They use ice packs, aloe, and baby powder. No weird oils which clog pores!     First time getting my brazilian wax there and definitely my last! When I got home I realized i still had alot of hair left from my brazilian wax the whole point of getting a wax is to avoid shaving and to have all your hair removed. Very disappointing such a nice and clean place but for what if you dont get your moneys worth !!!After my bad experience I received a call almost immediately from the Owner Maria she really went beyond trying to reach out to me she had a hard time finding my contact information since my name is pretty common and was wrote incorrectly but I truly appreciate it she also explained that when ever that was to happen that you can call them immediately and schedule to get all the hairs that were missed.
