    For the last few years, Ive cut and colored my own hair because I have been disappointed every time I went to a salon. As Ive tried to grow my hair long, hairdressers would always unnecessarily cut inches off and use the wrong color. For mothers day, my son but me a gift card for SmartStyle Hair Salon. I was skeptical and really didnt want to chance another disappointing salon visit. To my surprise, a young hairdresser, Sydney, was not only professional, but honest and clearly told me what she would and wouldnt be able to do. She didnt cut off a crazy amount of hair and the highlights she put in are so natural looking. This has been the best salon experience Ive had in years! I am so impressed with this young lady and if you need highlights or a great haircut, ask for Sydney!

    Sydney did an awesome job giving me a scissor cut instead of a buzz cut with the clippers. She is very attentive to detail and didnt leave any track lines in my hair. A++ I was so impressed I visited her a second time yesterday. She is very friendly and personable as well. She had no problem cutting my sides a little shorter either without any attitude at all which was a great sign! Please give her a raise! Shes working hard for yall!

    The lady who was cutting my hair was very nice and comforting. I havent had my hair cut in a while, for the fact that I dont trust anyone new with my hair. I told her to just go ahaid and do a style that she does well & would look good on me. I told her to do so for she made me feel as though I could trust her. I also got a hair color as well, and she did a wonderful job! This place is going to be my new favorite salon to get my hair colored, cut & my eyebrows done! She also did my eyebrows great too! Her name was Katherine. I was there for about two hours for my hair is very long & full, & the entire time I really enjoyed our conversation we had. Shes very nice, professional & experienced. I will be coming back again definitely.

    I went and had my hair done by Sara in the salon today!! I would recommend her to ANYONE!! I was bleached blonde with 4 months of very dark root growth! My hair was basically black and yellow! She took her time, and was very thorough with helping me feel beautiful again! She really cares about your expectations on the outcome of your hair! And my hair is now a beautiful beige blonde thanks to her! She even offered for me to come back in, and she would highlight! So nice to have a stylist that really cared about how I felt about my hair! She’s great!

    Helina Tseng is the best hairstylist. When she moved from Port Charlotte and the manager told me she no longer works at Smart Style I was so unhappy. I eventually found her contact number after calling two branches. Not sure why the PC Wal-Mart location manager would do that. Just glad I found Helena. She is just a wonderful person.
