    The stylists at Blue Leaf are absolutely amazing. They know hair! I had multiple sheds due to illnesses, then it grew back in curlier than before, and it stopped taking dye. Tameka is my regular hair professional and she recommended several things to make the transition from brown with highlights to the now natural silver, look better without cutting out the brown.I constantly get compliments on the cut and how great the silver looks. They also will recommend products that will work for your hair...taming the frizz, locking in the curls, etc.All the ladies there are caring, friendly and want you to have the best cut for your hair.Even though I no longer lives close by, I make the drive to see Tameka and the rest of the team there.

    I visited this salon on my birthday and I’m so glad I did. I’m natural and wanted something different and Tia did a beautiful job. EVERYONE working there is amazing at their craft. I was able to see it myself. This is my new hair home and I am So excited. If you need your hair “Did”… not Done, but DID. Come here. ( Thank you Ms. Tomeka for my pink stripe💕😂😂)

    I can’t speak highly enough of this salon. Blueleaf is the definition of perfection when it comes to haircutting, coloring, braiding and extension. I’ve been getting compliments all day today on my social media for the sleek hair look and hair cut. I have VERY thick hair and it’s very hard to manage, Tomeka was able to sleek my hair down. Her process was also very delicate. I have curly hair and she was gentle in blow drying and styling. Tomeka is an absolute professional and takes care of you 100%.. I highly recommend!

    I absolutely love this salon. I see Tia for my color and let me tell you she knows exactly what shes doing and she treats everyone so nice. Love her vibes. When it comes to braids, whether its box braids, stitch braids, or just two French braids shes your person. Shes definitely mine. I absolutely love the ambiance here, its chill and relaxing and these women know what theyre doing! Theyre reasonably priced and you and your hair are taken care of.

    Tia is awesome!!! Great Hairsylist, colorist and such a great personality! Best customer service I’ve ever had at a salon. Tia and Tomeka worked together to make sure I was going to get the best color for my damaged hair. I tried many salons in the area and none of them exceeded my expectations like Blue Leaf did.     I had Tricia as my stylist and loved her! She educated me about my hair and provided me quality services full of care and detail. She is also super friendly and genuine. This was my first time at Blue Leaf Salon, and I highly recommend anyone thinking of getting their hair done to come here! I can be particular about who does my hair but loved this clean and friendly facility.

    Tia was the best hair stylist I have ever had! She assessed my hair and helped me figure out the hair style that would fit what I wanted but was also possible with the current status of my hair (my hair has been box dyed and needs help). She spend more time then she probably should have to make my hair so soft and healthy. I was in disbelief how she transformed my brittle, dry hair into healthy, soft hair that had pretty layers that was exactly what I wanted.On top of that- she was so nice and had me laughing the whole time. To say the least- it was the best experience I have ever had and she will forever be my hair person from here on out. The hair studio was clean and everyone was so nice. Definitely 5 stars and highly recommended

    I originally used this company for my wedding. It was important to have a company that could work with all hair textures and they definitely delivered. My hair and my bridesmaids’ hair lasted all night. Everyone was happy with the way their hair turned out. Tia and Tomeka were professional, affordable, timely, and so incredibly kind. As a result of their amazing performance for my wedding I left my salon and began using them for my hair services. You can’t go wrong with color, style, cuts, etc. I will continue to refer people to them. I’m officially a brand advocate.

    Tomeka is fabulous!! She has done my familys hair for over 10 years. She is very precise about color, has excellent products and takes her time with the client. The salon is clean and everyone working there is polite and most of all it is a happy place!! I have never heard negative talk or gossip going on.     I finally found my salon home. I get everything done with Shay! Shes kind, thoughtful and attentive (a perfectionist really). I showed her a photo of the color that I wanted and she was able to achieve it while maintaining healthy curls! I was weary of coloring my hair again because I didnt want to damage it anymore, but my curls looked even better when I left the salon. Shes also fantastic at doing lashes. Even when they do begin to shed they still look great. Shes truly built my confidence up with the work shes done on me. Her number should be saved in everyones phone.

    I love Tia! Someone else made me butter blonde but Tia saved my hair and helped me achieve a level 10 platinum. Shes truly and expert! If you want the barbershop experience for women then go see Tia!

    AMAZING!!!! I LOVE my hair!!!!! I have never gotten my hair done before so I was soooo nervous but the staff was very nice and made me feel welcome!! My stylist Tia was very kind and listened to my ideas and what I was nervous about! We also had a great conversation through out my appointment where I never felt awkward and felt like I was talking to a long time friend! My hair is just how i wanted and i couldn’t be happier! I will definitely be back and encourage friends and family to go here! My mom and has gone here as well and loves it! Thank you Tia for giving me my confidence back!

    Tia is amazing! This is by far one of the best colorists around! I have blond hair and a lot of times I leave salons with golden or yellow hair. Not Tia she listened and gave me beautiful two toned cool blond highlights.

    I have been seeing Tia for several months. She is one of the best colorists I have ever had in 20 years of coloring my hair. She matches my photos perfectly and helps me feel beautiful. She is fun, super smart, and so talented. Love her!My daughter has seen Lafarrah for braids twice at ages 4 and 5. Lafarrah is so patient with the littles and does beautiful work. Highly recommend her as well!Blue Leaf is a fantastic salon for all hair types. I cannot say enough. Please try them! You wont be sorry!

    Thank you so much Tia for taking care of my hair! As a mother of toddler twins and a recent graduate of nursing school, needless to say I needed a major touch up on my hair. I used box dye for a couple of years due to convenience with my schedule so it was a bit dried out. She freshened up my hair with high and low lights and was patient with my knots. I’ll make time in my schedule for her to do my hair! My hair will be looking good for graduation now! You rock! See you next time :)

    It was my first time coloring my hair and Tia helped me through it all. I was able to get a consultation and have a balayage done by her! She was very exciting and so the rest of the staff was welcoming. I felt very comfortable there and walked out feeling amazing. Definitely would recommend this salon to other people!

    Im always hesitant about trusting my hair to a new stylist, but with Tomeka there is no need to worry. She paid attention to the picture I showed her as a reference and explained how much hair would need to be cut in order to achieve it. She also did a great job working with my heat-sensitive scalp. Ive gotten a lot of compliments on the cuts shes done for me and Im glad I dont have to drive out to Orange Park Mall anymore. Already a repeat customer!

    Wow Tomeka is amazing!!! Gave me a beautiful balayage and exactly the color I wanted. I have dark hair and I went to another hair salon about a month previously to going to this one. The lady messed up my hair completely. Tomeka was able to fix my balayage and give me amazing color and styling. This salon is one of the best. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!! It is so hard to find a good hair salon but trust me this is the one. High quality service.

    My hair lady canceled on me and I am getting married and flying out to California! I was in tears and they got me in and took their time and made me beautiful again!!     GREAT! GREAT! GREAT!First, I would like to thank all of the previous honest reviews....due to this I have found a awesome new Stylist Lafarrah Shaw. She was quick to response, very informative and polite. My first impression of the shop as a whole was good, I was greeted with smiles and a warm welcome as soon as I hit the door. As I was waiting for my initial consultation(unscheduled) one of the other stylist spoken with me to just get started. Everyone in the shop is friendly and nice. The salon was clean, well lit and spacious.Lafarrah has followed up with me and been very upfront and honest about what she can and can not do. She spoke with me several times to ensure I was comfortable about my hair and what I wanted to do.I was with my last Stylist for 12 years so its very important to me that Im with someone who is honest with me and who loves what they do, I feel Lafarrah is passionate about doing hair and loves her craft. I have already referred my mother in law because I know she will be in good hands and be well taken care of. I do not think anyone would go wrong with choosing any stylist or barber from this establishment.

    I just received my first hair service at Blue Leaf Salon and Tia nailed it! The whole experience was great ☺️ I got scheduled right away, was greeted by the friendly stylist and felt super relaxed and comfortable the entire visit. I went in for balayage blonde color to lighten up my hair a bit and was left feeling like I had an incredible makeover 💁‍♀️ I will definitely be returning!

    Ive been with Tomeka since I moved here over 2 years ago. I have short hair and have never had a better cut. She knows my hair and when I have an idea for a new style, she gets me as close to it as possible with what my hair will do. Everyone Ive watched walk out of Blue Leaf looks great. I dont think you can go wrong with any of the gals.

    I love this place... Tomeka started cutting my hair about two years ago..... some things took place and I left town for awhile. Having to find another stylist to meet up to my expectations was very difficult. With that being said when I came back I booked an appointment with her and jus like always she took care of me.. She remember exactly how I liked my hair. She even fixed my hair from where it had been damaged.... Thanks Tomeka you have truly spoiled me. You are very talented with those sheers.

    When I came in, I had this brown and green dyed hair with a lot of other previous dyes stacked under it, and wanted to go blonde. At first, I didnt really think I could achieve it because of all the previous colors, but Shecaniah managed to do it well! This blonde is one of my favourite colors Ive done so far.

    Tomeka did the best balayage for me! We looked up my last appointment and it was back in August of 2020 and my hair lasted that long! She’s absolutely fantastic at it and I will continue to go back every time!

    Tomeka is a godsend! I was going to the JC Penney Salon for relaxers for the longest time, and every appointment seemed worse than the first. I finally decided I would never go there again, did some research, and found Blue Leaf Salon. I could not be happier with my decision to go there. My hair has not felt this soft and sleek for years, and it’s getting back to the length it was prior to the last 5 years of experiences at a big chain salon. I’m moving out to Lake City soon, but I will happily drive an hour and a half to come back to Tomeka for a touch up.

    I am very afraid and picky with my hair. Ive had nothing but bad experiences with stylists but after years i decided i wanted something different. So I called and set up an appointment with Tricia for a balayage. I got there and I was so incredibly nervous, Im a rookie when it comes to hair. I have jet black hair and I never color it... So I was anxious lolCustomer service: Tricia has the ability to make people open up. Im usually very quiet and dont really talk but she eased me into having intelligent conversations. It was refreshing.She also kept asking me if I wanted a drink and made sure I was comfortable.Im kind of tall so when I went to get my hair shampooed, my neck was bothering me... without saying anything she could see it and placed a towel to take away the strain I put on it. So tall women, yes you know the struggle 🤣Technique: Poor Tricia, I came in with pics of things I kind of wanted and I was terrible in trying to explain what I want.She was very positive and patient, so she asked me questions about things I liked and what Im willing to do. It took 2 sessions to lighten up hair and then color it/put some dimensions.She also cut my hair and styled it. And I ended up leaving so happy and relieved that my hair looked so nice and like what I envisioned.PS: dont skip out of the shampooing... she kind of massages your head and its like 🧖🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️I am very grateful to have found this place and for Tricia 🥰.     If you are looking for a clean, professional salon with stylists who know what they are doing this is the place for you. I have some psoriasis issues on my scalp and at Blue Leaf salon they work with me to use products that don’t burn or irritate my psoriasis. My hair always looks and feels healthier when I leave. They also have a braider and a barber on staff. This is a one stop shop for the whole family.
