I was there for a return visit to try to eliminate a wart on my thumb once and for all. The PA was a more delightful young lady who was very empathetic and caring. She was very careful and very attentive to my pain level. She did a great job and was very pleasant. I actually enjoyed the appt even though there was some pain involved. She had a very upbeat, pleasant, and professional demeanor. Even if I have to get that wart worked on again, I hope that I get the same person to perform the procedure.

Dr. Shawn and his staff were amazing. Very thorough and helpful. They checked on me when I had some complications with my incision due to thin blood and I was so appreciative of the empathy and patience they displayed. Dr. Shawn even called me while he was picking up his kids to deliver the great news that the test came back negative for anymore cancer! Who does that these days? They do!!! Highly recommend them.

If only all staff at doctors were like park ave dermatology!! Breeze at the sign in desk was so kind so reassuring. She knew I was very nervous 😓 😟. She noticed I really enjoyed the 70s music and told me to focus on the music. She just took the time to reassure me. Then the male nurse Johann was as sweet, gentle and kind as he could be. When he put the shots in my face he was so tender and thorough. Dr Robinson noticed I liked all the things about Jesus in his office. We shared our faith and love for Jesus. He did 3 biopsies on my face..so sweet so gentle and so reassuring. I highly highly recommend this office.

They were gracious and kept me calm throughout the biopsy and subsequent surgical removal of the skin cancer. I’ve seen Sean four times sine 2019 when he removed some squamous cell from my arm. He’s always pleasant, thorough, and professional. His assistant is also thorough and pleasant. The appointment process is simple, and office staff do their best to find an appointment time that works for you.

The doctor was fast but covered all that I had question about. This was a first time visit. I will continue going to the same doctor in Orange Park location. It was a pleasant visit.

I am so impressed with Park Avenue Dermatology for their professionalism and care. After a recent MOHS surgery, I had planned to be away for several weeks. The staff gave me a phone number to text photos of my wound and a wound specialist called me to reassure me that the healing was going well. I had an odd red spot on the tip of my nose that I thought was caused by my COVID mask, but it was basal cell carcinoma. I had a Mohs procedure done at Park Ave Dermatology to remove it and Julie, their plastic surgeon closed it so well that a year later, you can barely see it. I recommend them if you need to be screened for any sore or spot that just doesnt seem to heal.

My first experience was basil cell skin cancer on my right cheek, it was removed and I have to look really hard to find the scar, since then Ive had 2 more skin cancers removed and no ugly scars. I could not be more pleased with every staff member of Park Avenue Dermatology! I brought to Dr. Sosa SEDA’s attention a spot on my cheek that had been bothering me for years. She immediately knew it didn’t look right and biopsied it. This spot had been frozen off more than once and kept returning. I had been told by many other doctors that it was cosmetic. Dr. Sosa suspected otherwise. It turned out to be stage 0 melanoma in situ. Because of her expertise, I was spared a much more traumatic and potentially dangerous outcome. Dr. Shawn Schmieder used Mohs surgery to remove the cancer in one office visit. He was compassionate and reassuring. All of the medical staff and office staff were fantastic. I could not have been treated better. Thank you to everyone who has cared for me!

All I can say is this place got everything right! Sincere patient care from each professional. Top-tier full body scans and surgical skills. I had two facial skin cancers removed. Surgeries were one week apart, and both procedures were done perfectly. We left one wound open (because of its location) and closed the other one.I had severe anxiety from similar surgeries done nine years ago at a different facility. Dr. Schmieder consulted with me in advance. He prescribed anti-anxiety meds. I still had to deal with intense emotions that morning, because PTSD is real, but I will never be afraid of Dr. Schmieder again. I cannot overemphasize what an exceptional person and surgeon he is. He has built a team around him that is equally wonderful. He prayed with us. He laughed with us. He let my husband hold my hand during the procedure. God uses this man. His practice is ministry to the whole patient. I’m so grateful we found him.
