    Christina at Androcles is simply THE BEST!!! She is a true artist at her craft, an expert colorist and master stylist. Her attention to detail and commitment to serve her clients is unmatched. Iā€™m a fussy brunette who is heavily highlighted and she nails it every time!! She listens to client feedback and the results of her beautiful work has always matched what I wanted to achieve with my color. Not to mention she may be one of the kindest, nicest people Iā€™ve met.     Been meaning to write this review for a while but Alyssa is amazing! She has such a great instinct for exactly what color will look the best and is also so fun and kind. I was so pleased with how my cut and color turned out and canā€™t wait to keep going back to her. My hair took longer than expected so Jenn took over and finished my haircut and it turned out so cute! It was a great experience all around and the mimosas made it even more fun! Highly recommend this salon and Alyssa!

    Since I moved to FL 10 years ago Iā€™ve tried 10 different hairdressers and never found the right one. A friend recommended Jen at Avant Garden Salon so I decided to give her a try. Not only was I extremely happy with my hair but the staff and atmosphere were great! Very professional but they acted like a group of women that loved what they did and their boss Jen who was also my stylist treated them with respect and made me feel completely at ease. She explained the process and products she was useing throughout. Her technique in color and cutting were spot on. I couldnā€™t have been happier!

    This salon is amazing! All of the staff are courteous, professional, talented and they always take the time to listen. I was referred to Avant Garde through a friend and so glad I made the appointment. Jenn, the owner has been doing my hair for close to two years and I couldnt be happier every time I walk out of the salon. The cut and gloss is always perfect and Jenn and the rest of the staff always make my visit fantastic. Ive been to several salons in the Palm Beach Gardens area and nothing compares to Avant Gardes expertise in all that they do. Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon!

    Everytime I come to this salon I have a great experience. The entire staff is friendly and make me feel very comfortable. My stylist Jenn always listens to what I want and I completely trust her coloring my hair. I have referred people to come here and they have been very satisfied as well! Its a clean, beautiful, and upbeat environment. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

    So today I went in because my husband made me a appointment for my Motherā€™s Day gift. It was for a full highlight, cut and blow dry. I had the pleasure of having Amanda as my stylist. Omg this is not my first time here but my first time with Amanda. Let me just say wow she is amazing. I love my hair and Jen the owner was wonderful as always. Amanda did such a amazing job on my hair and was so pleasant to talk to. Canā€™t wait for my 6 week appointment. Love this place and highly recommend going here. All the stylist are all so very talented and personable.

    First time going there, so obviously very nervous, itā€™s always nerve wracking to try a new salon because hair is so important! I was very happy with the service, my hair stylist - Jenny - was amazing! I first did my consultation with Jenn, the owner, and got color and cut from Jenny. They left my hair how I wanted it, didnā€™t cut too much or too little. Service is truly exceptional, super clean and the products they use are really good. I highly recommend this place, you can rest assure they will do a good job.

    So I had a horrible mess up trying to box dye my hair at home instead of coming out as blonde my hair was completely orange. As soon as I called the salon (even though they were completely booked) they squeezed me in using multiple of their employees to fix my hair before I had to go into work. This was amazing because I never had a salon that caredso much especially since this was my first time even going there. Not to mention how affordable it was to fix my hair. When my mom came in they were so sweet to both of us and gave us a list of products that we could use to help our hair letting us try them out before we purchased them. I would definitely recommend them (Logan and Gina did my hair) The owner is very sweet as well and super helpful. I will be going back again.

    Amazing experience! From the warm welcome, to complementary drink of choice to the extremely knowledgeable staff I couldnā€™t be more please with my experience. The location itself is beautifully decorated with clean touches throughout.My stylist Amanda Lucenti was beyond Fantastic! She listened to exactly what I wanted and made some suggestions that would help make my hair pop! You can tell she knows what she is doing and Loves it! I couldnā€™t be more happy for the amazing job she did. Sheā€™s a true hair artist!

    I am new to the area and did not know where to go for a hair cut, so I called Avant Garde since they had many good reviews posted. They were able to get me in quickly with Maggie. The salon was cute, I was immediately offered a drink when I entered the salon. Maggie took me back within moments of my arrival. Maggie was great, she was friendly but did not talk my ear off as many stylists do. Maggie gave me an amazing cut and style, I am so impressed with how great my hair looked. I will definitely be back to see Maggie again.

    I love this salon! I have been going here for a couple of years now and Im always pleased with the results. My stylist, Eddalyn is incredibly talented! She really takes the time to analyze and recommend what color/style would look best and ensures you leave feeling happy and satisfied with the results. The owner Jenn is super friendly and her staff is always welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend this salon!

    Avant Garde is hands down the best salon I have ever been too! In addition to the fun and relaxing atmosphere, I know my hair will always look flawless because NICOLE P. is a miracle worker!! Ive never been to a more knowledgeable hairdresser. She listens to me try to describe the look I want (because, lets be real, we do not always know!!) and with seemingly little to no effort, my hair ALWAYS looks better than anticipated. Nicole P. will always go the extra mile for you and takes pride in her work. She truly cares about her clients and giving them the results they desire. GO SEE HER!!!

    I came in desperately needing a color correction and Alyssa worked her magic and I couldnā€™t be happier with my results šŸ„° I felt so beautiful and confident walking outta there.     Love it here! Eddalyn was my stylist and she was amazing! This was my second visit with her and I plan on always coming here and seeing her in the future. The first visit I had highlights and regular color, also a cut and blow dry. It looked really good the first time and equally as good this last time (got partials with a cut and blow dry) I have received many compliments on my hair and do not hesitate to reccomend this salon to anyone. The coloring has been spot on each time. It compliments my natural color, covers all my grays and has not faded. Thank you for such an impressive and overall happy experience šŸ˜

    This was a gift for my birthday and it is the most wonderful haircut experience that I have ever had. Alyssa is amazing. She listened and made suggestions and gave me the best haircut that I have ever had. I cried when I saw what she did because I never knew my hair could look so beautiful.     I havenā€™t dyed my hair in about 3 years because I wanted it to be healthy but I decided it was time and I wanted to get it done for my 39th birthday that is coming up. I was able to get an appointment quickly which was awesome. I was looking to do balayage and put layers in. Alyssa did an AMAZING job and I absolutely love it!! All of the employees there were super nice and it was great to see them helping each other out. I will definitely be going back to see Alyssa!

    Going to a hair salon can be a scary thing these days. I trust very few with my hair. Jenn, the stylist there listened to what I wanted. She didnt treat me like it was just another cut she made me feel comfortable and the over all experience was awesome!! Also the salon is sweet! Love all the design work. Clean friendly environment!     This is my second time coming into the salon. My stylist Nichole F knows exactly how I want my hair and when I leave here I feel like a million bucks. Her assistant Alyssa washed my hair and gives the best scalp and neck massage in palm beach gardens. My overall experiences at Avant Garde has been amazing and I definitely would recommend the salon to anyone who is picky with who does their hair.

    I love going to Nichole F. at Avant Garde. She always does a great job on my hair, whether it is a cut or an entire new look. Last time I was there I had no idea what I wanted and she suggested high and lo lights and a new cut. By the time she was done I felt amazing and loved what she did.     I went in for my first time, Christina did a Blonde balayage on me. And do I have to say IM IN LOVE!! Walking in expecting to do highlights and having her expertise shift me to what my hair really needed and what would suite me best.. I recommend this place 100% no questions asked! I am extremely happy with what she accomplished and this is BY FAR THE BEST HAIR EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD!     I have been a loyal customer of Avant Garde since they opened many years ago. Jen and her team are truly the best in the business! I refuse to go anywhere else and travel all the way from boca raton regularly to have my highlights and cut done. I have a ton of long, thick hair and Jen takes her time to make sure it is absolutely perfect every single time. She is a dedicated salon owner who ensures her staff is up to date on the latest and greatest techniques, products, etc. They are constantly attending hair shows, onsite and offsite salon trainings and doing team building. This is just my observation from being there for a few hours every month. The salon is stunning! Gorgeous details at every turn. Do yourself a favor and book today with the best in the business! You will not be disappointed!

    I went to this salon to get my hair done and I am very happy with the results. I had Vita as my hair stylist and I asked her for layers and a 4 inch cut. It seemed as though she did like 3-4 cuts and was done and at first I was thinking, thatā€™s itā€¦.? Then she put it all together so quickly and the results were amazing!! Vita is bada****. I will be coming back to her. She is quick and does an awesome job!

    Avant Garde Salon is one of the best and most professional Salons ive visited. From the moment I dropped my Girlfriend off, she was greeted by a very sweet receptionist, professional stylists and colorists and was amazingly pleased with her cut and color and there prices were very competitive.Being that I was involved in this industry it was nice tosee a salon that actually delivers what they promise at very reasonable prices.     I LOVE this salon, and the owner and staff, too!!! Ive had my hair done twice by the owner, Jenn, and she is definitely very talented, knowledgeable, and confident in her skills- and for good reason! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair after having her work her magic on it! She listens to exactly what you want, which is of utmost importance when it comes to your hair. She also has a way of knowing just what your hair needs and also does it in the best way possible to maintain the health of your hair!! The salon itself is absolutely beautiful!! Its very modern, classy, and professional. The staff are all fantastic, have a great rapport amongst each other, and make you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door!! I will definitely be coming here from now on!! Thank you Avant Garde, and most importantly, Jenn, for a superb experience and outcome with my hair!!! Im looking forward to my next visit!!Just an FYI in case youre wondering about my hair, which is longer than mid-back length, blonde, fine, frizzy, and has a lot of breakage and really short new growth; it has also fallen out a lot this year due to stress (lucky me!), so every last strand and every process/treatment is highly important:My first visit, my hair was a frazzled mess. Instead of doing highlights, which are much harsher on your hair, Jenn recommended a base break as a much healthier alternative and to buy me more time before doing harsher highlights later down the road. Id never even heard of this process! It worked beautifully! Why havent other stylists recommended this...? She also recommended some amazing products for my hair. I noticed a difference in my hair as soon as I started using them, and I already use expensive salon hair products! My hair desperately needed to be cut, but I didnt want to take much length off and I definitely didnt want layers. She did exactly as I wished while also getting my ends to a much healthier place! My hair looked great! I was super happy and totally satisfied.This second visit, the plan was initially highlights- which I have had done to my hair for over a decade. Once I got to the salon, we discussed focusing on hair processes that are healthier for my fragile hair (that Ive lost a lot of). Jenn recommended doing a balayage as a healthier alternative to highlights, and I immediately followed her advice. She added some special ingredients to the mix to ward off potential damage and only did a few pieces where I part my hair and around my face- instead of processing most/all of my entire head. She also recommended doing another base break to freshen up the rest of my hair that didnt get the balayage process. She recommended a bigger trim after I complained about my puny, thinned out, and split ends. Knowing I wanted to keep as much length as possible and not do any layers, she listened to my wishes and cut my hair to a perfect result. My hair looks the best its looked in years!! I couldnt be happier and highly recommend Jenn and her salon to anyone who wants gorgeous, healthy hair thats treated with true TLC!!!

    The people who work here are saints! I went to a different salon and arrived 5 minutes late as I was called by said salonā€™s receptionist to make sure I come in with dry hair for my consult. So upon arrival in a condescending tone the lady told me my apt will be delayed as my ā€œhair masterā€ took another client. So I googled this salon and sweet girl, Sam answered the phone- I told her the situation, and she booked me right away with a hair consult as the stylist at the other salon was incredibly rude to me and said ā€œIā€™m not putting my name on your damaged hairā€ I called Sam back and told her Iā€™d be coming in- she was so compassionate to my situation- and the stylist I met, Eddie was also incredibly sweet. She gave me her honest, genuinely put opinion- guided me on what to do until I could come back for her undivided attention. The salon is gorgeous, the girls who work here are genuine and actually care about the client and I couldnā€™t be more satisfied with my consultation and am excited for my appointment with Eddie! Thank you so much Sam for saving the day, and for your hustle, and commisery with how poorly I was treated at the previous salon. Someone give this girl a raise! Sheā€™s fantastic! ā¤ļøšŸ’ƒšŸ¼

    I have been looking for a great stylist forever. To me, thatā€™s someone who advises you if youā€™re asking for something all wrong and spends time with you to figure out exactly what youā€™re looking for. I havenā€™t ever left unhappy after Gina cut, colored, highlighted or styled my hair. I canā€™t say that about many places in the all my salon trips.     I just love this place !!!Intelligent, CREATIVE,... not just in Hair Artistry BUT ideas and understandings about Life ... business, ancestry culture, values and wisdom from lifes challenges.     I decided to use Avant Garde Salon as my new salon, after doing extensive research on hair salons in the area. I am from New York originally, and have experienced the good, the bad and the ugly and wont just let anyone touch my hair. After my initial consultation with Nicole F. and my moms initial consultation with Jen, we knew we had found our new salon. BOTH Nicole and Jen listened to our concerns, answered our questions, while giving their expertise about our hair situations. I was a VERY BRASSY, GOLD BLONDE, which I HATED and my mom was a multi-shaded brown base with DULL highlights, which she ALSO hated. After our first appointments, Jen had FIXED my moms base color and highlights and LITERALLY TRANSFORMED HER. Her base color and highlights blended beautifully and her highlights were now ALIVE (lol!) and the PERFECT shade. Nicole COMPLETELY got rid of my brassiness and turned my color I once hated so much into a color I NOW LOVED SO MUCH -- AND STILL DO! I was the PERFECT shade of blonde -- two shades darker than platinum with some low lights blended in, which is EXACTLY what I wanted. They are legit color and style masters in my eyes! When I called to make my initial consultation, I told the receptionist that I wanted somebody who was very experienced and who knew what she was doing. She told me that Jen trained Nicole and thats all I had to hear and I was sold! Jen is the owner and Nicole is legit her protege. Jen IS the mother hen and looks after ALL of her employees. She is also EXTREMELY personable, funny, beautiful on the inside and out, and can multitask like no other. Nicole is so sweet, kind, calm, and is a very good listener. She takes her time and focuses like no other, which I LOVE!!!!! EVERYONE there makes you feel like FAMILY and works together as a team, not to mention professional. The vibe from the moment you walk in is very relaxing, and your experience from start to finish is very enjoyable. Also, FIRST time customers get 20% off, and if youre thirsty theres always water and wine available to drink. The decor is absolutely BEAUTIFUL -- Jens husband designed the whole inside -- and all of the details you notice from the moment you walk in. DO NOT make the MISTAKE of going ANYWHERE else: THIS is the place to go. Their hair color is the only approved hair color under OSHA (I believe) and the quality of their hair products are top of the line. The best part of it all is their prices are very affordable, too!

    By far the best salon Iā€™ve ever been to. Iā€™ve always had such bad hair cuts. I started going to Ed a few months ago and my hair has never looked better. Iā€™ve also never been one to buy products at salons but if you color your hair it really makes a difference with their line of products. All the ladies are super kind and welcoming. Ed never disappoints and I couldnā€™t recommend her more.

    After moving to Jupiter in October of 2016, I needed to find a new salon. I went to at least 4 different salons and was disappointed at each, before visiting Avant Garde. My experience was the best from start to finish. I was basically trying to find a salon that could (a) keep my hair healthy because I have baby fine hair that damages easily and (b) give me a professional and beautiful balayage. I found both with Nicole F. at AGS! They have excellent products including a bond builder that keeps my hair from breaking. I also got the best Keratin treatment ever that made my hair strong and healthy! Best of all I FINALLY got a gorgeous balayage that I see on celebrities on the red carpet. I highly recommend Avant Garde Salon!!!

    My sister tried to get an appointment for a simple updo for my daughters wedding. She lives in NY and wont arrive in Florida until the day before the wedding. She was told that she could not get an appointment with out first coming in for a trial. She explained that all she wanted was a simple updo and could not be there for a trial. It is disappointing that a salon that is supposed to be as good as this one, cant accommodate an updo without a practice run.UPDATE: My sister received a call right after my review. She received a very heartfelt apology for the misunderstanding. My sister has an appointment and I am looking forward to seeing the end results! Thanks you Avant Garde Salon for handling this situation with grace and professionalism.

    Lindsey did an amazing job on my eyebrows. It was a little overdue and she took her time with them. She gave me a cucumber soothing agent that goes over my eyes to help with redness. Lindsey let that sit for a couple minutes while giving me a hand massage. Thank you! Love my eyebrows I feel like a woman again.

    Appt. With Eddy. Asked for color exactly like I had.Was blonde, came out gray. I specifically said I didnt want ash but the golden tones I have. I spent 3 1/2 hrs trying to fix my hair and left disliking everything about this salon. The hairdresser didnt have a clue what she was doing and the owner was so rude, had my hair not been gray I would have walked out. I see others have had the same fate. Do yourself a favor; dont take a chance. BTW, this is first time I ever reviewed anything. Thats how bad my experience was. Ruined my day. Give me kind courteous people any day.
