My mother in law and I were looking for someone to go to for a haircut, and I happened across the website. The website is super cool, allowing you to input your state and town and you’ll get a list of stylists who work out of the salon, as well as a list of what they do.I initially texted a few people, going off of how warm and inviting their photos were. Alicia replied to me and was so incredibly kind from the first response. My mother in law and I both were extremely nervous, given we rarely get our hair cut or colored, and Alicia’s kindness, personality, and thorough explanation of everything (including providing multiple social media links to view her work!) convinced us to book appointments with her!Upon walking in, the salon was immaculately tidy and smelled pretty. Is that a thing? Smelling pretty? If it wasn’t before that sentence, it is now. It smelled very pretty. The bathrooms were well stocked with wonderful hand soap that left my hands feeling super moisturized and soft. No skimping out and buying the cheap stock you usually find!Upon greeting her, Alicia was so incredibly sweet. She is the very definition of hospitality. Her room is beautifully decorated with calming background music playing, and smells DIVINE. I felt at ease in the room.We had a quick consultation with her individually (our appointments were back to back so we went together) decided on a course of action, and Alicia got to work. From the consultation to the shampooing to the haircut and later styling, Alicia thoroughly explained every single step, making sure every part of our plan was specifically tailored to our hair type and the needs of our scalp. She has the same sort of manner that a nurse would have, or a doctor. Calming and reassuring.My mother in law feels beautiful and so do I! We were so incredibly thrilled with the outcome of our haircuts and went to the grocery store to shop afterwards feeling like a million bucks.Alicia’s pricing is great, almost too great for the level of quality she brings to the table, so we both made sure to tip her well for the fantastic experience to express our gratitude.. Her vibe and personality is the cherry on top. As someone with severe anxiety (that my mother in law shares as well) I’ve never had an experience with a hair dresser where I was able to fully relax and trust as they worked their magic on my hair.Alicia is top tier, and if you’re on the fence about her, give her a shot. We are SO glad we did! We will be back very soon for color!! I’ll add the before and after when we get done with that!!

I haven’t had my hair cut in years because of a past bad experience at a random salon I went to, I also just love my hair long so didn’t feel the need to get it done. But after my sisters and mom telling me about Alicia and seeing how amazing their hair looked after going I finally gave in. The environment of this salon is just so amazing and so different than anywhere I’ve ever been and Alicia is literally the most friendly person you will ever meet, and just made me feel comfortable right off the bat. I had a very vague idea of what I wanted but after her listening to me try to explain it and showing a random picture off the internet, she just knew what my hair needed to make it healthier, and to help best frame my face! I’m obsessed with how my hair turned out and couldnt believe I waited so long! Alicia has changed my perspective completely on how salons should be, and I will be going back 100%!

I just recently had Alicia at AJPro cut my hair. It was a fantastic experience! She took the time to ask me just exactly what I wanted and gave this great-grandma a sexy, sassy look! I felt 20 years younger when I left. She took time to explain everything she was doing. She has a great personality and makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. I will definitely be back!!

Went to see Alicia with AjPro Styles and have to leave a review to let you all know what an incredible job she did with my hair! My color was a mess, uneven and in need of more than just a touch up. Alicia worked with me to determin the perfect mix of lowlights and highlights for me. Her cut was impeccable and added volume and shape to my hair and suited my features. My hair has been happy, healthy and shiny since! Alicia was such a lovely hairstylist to work with and her salon is clean and relaxing. I plan on returning to get my hair done here every time. Alicia at AJ ProStyles was absolutely incredible! First off, I had some personal issues/complications going on right before my appointment and she worked with me and made my day so much better.My visit was for a styling for a wedding. I had sent her a few pictures beforehand with some ideas I was looking for. She more than came through. I had beautiful curls and a half updo that stayed perfect all night through dancing! I unfortunately didn’t get any pictures of the back. 10/10 recommended!

AJPRO: I had the pleasure of sitting in Alicias chair recently, and it was quite the experience! Alicia really knows her craft and is a true artist. You can trust her to be compassionate, competent, and clairvoyant! Well, almost. 😁 I felt that she really could read my hair. She knew instinctively what my hair (and face shape) needed. There was no rush to hurry through, but I felt at ease and at home the moment I sat in her chair. To say Alicia goes above and beyond is an understatement. When clients enter they’re greeted with a very friendly concierge who will guide your client to the proper location. The spacious luxury suite building and bathrooms are always kept clean by our full time concierges. I have enjoyed the freedom to design and create a very inviting and peaceful environment for clients to relax and enjoy there individual and private experience in my salon suite. Update I have been here two years and have to applaud Peter & Cyndi, Salons by jc owners, for your committed support during this virus pandemic, standing by every salon suite owner, by not charging rent during these very tough times! In 2016, I spent most of the year searching EVERY salon suites in south Florida because I was tired of running my own salons for the last decade. Owning a large storefront salon with 10 employees is not as glamorous as it sounds; the stress, bickering, complaints, bills, etc. really took a toll on my health. I became so disheartened with the industry until Salons by JC revived me! The private suite allows me to perform my art without the burdens. After paying rent just once a week, I only have to worry about making my clients beautiful...thats the true reason why I do what I do!Why did I choose this suite over all others? Two words: Peter...Cyndi. Ive worked with several landlords in my time in business and non are like them. They are kind, responsive, friendly, and were flexible to my situation. The landlord/tenant relationship can make or break a business; I can firmly say that its the former...Ive never been happier.

My clients always comment on how beautiful the building is when I direct them to the restroom. The other tenants are great, very professional. The young lady up front is very helpful.
