    I do not get my haircut often so when I do I usually see whoever is available. This time I had Melissa as my stylist and she was great! Gave me the perfect cut while taking off a lot of inches. My hair feels totally refreshed and I would recommend her and this salon to anyone in the area!

    Ally is the only person I will ever let cut my hair. I have really curly hair, and have had so many bad hair cuts in the past. She gets it right everytime! Plus her energy and vibe is amazing. She always has a smile on her face and is so warm and inviting. You definitely will not go wrong being in her chair!

    I LOVE going to Melissa at Shear Excitement! I have been going to her for the last 2 years, coming in every 2-3 months for highlights, and I am always happy with my results. She always gives the best advice and takes the time to listen to my concerns and what my hair goals are and puts together a plan to get me there. I always recommend Melissa at Shear Excitement to my friends.

    I have been coming to shear excitement for over 10 years and it just keeps getting better and better. The girls there are more like family than just hairdressers. Not only do I get my hair done but I also take my two preteen daughters. They have taken care of me and my hair through some crazy times recently and always found a way to make me look good and feel happy. The salon is chic and always clean and their prices are very reasonable. Can’t say enough good things! Jordan, Gio, Melissa…. 🩷 thank you!

    Shear excitement is the absolute best! Gio is the only one my son will allow to cut his hair. He loves her and she is so calm and sweet with him.The scalp treatment is out of this world! I would do it weekly if I could!Melissa is also fabulous! She helps my older son with his long hair and how to manage it! She has also done my hair and oh my!Thank you so much girls! Im so grateful to have found you!

    I absolutely love Shear Excitement Salon, and Melissa is the real MVP here! Shes not just an excellent colorist and stylist, but shes also an amazing listener. She genuinely cares about what you want and then works her magic to make it happen. Plus, shes always so pleasant and kind—its like catching up with a friend every time I see her. Melissas flexibility with my schedule is a lifesaver, and shes the reason Ive been coming to this salon for three awesome years. Oh, and did I mention how clean and comfy the place is? Its like a little oasis of pampering. Highly recommend!

    This places is so amazing, they are so sweet, so professional, great attention. I got my hair done with Melissa and I got since the first time so satisfied, so happy with the results, that now she becomes my permanent stainless.

    Tan has been cutting my hair for the past 13 years and Ive never had a bad experience or a bad haircut. Would recommend the place to anyone who wants a great cut and amazing customer service. I get compliments on my hair from everyone, including other hair stylists who are not employed by this company when I happen upon them in the wild. Just a warning, theyre usually fairly booked out and I would definitely recommend making an appointment at least 3 weeks in advance

    My Stylist Melissa Adams ALWAYS does a PHENOMENAL job. My hair has never been so health or BEAUTIFUL! Pricing is moderate and well worth it. The Salon is lovely, very clean and Staff very friendly. I will be a repeat Customer!

    I have been coming to this salon for nearly 7 years now with Lyndsay as my hair dresser/artist. I would NEVER go anywhere but where Lyndsay is at as is she a true artist at what she does and so much!! Salon is nice, clean, all the girls are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place!!💜 If you want absolutely perfect hair everytime ask for Lyndsay!!💜

    Lyndsay has outdone herself every time I go into the salon. Recently I let her cut off almost 5 inches of my hair and was more than pleased with the outcome! She is a hair ARTIST and is so passionate about what she does! All the stylists at Shear Excitement are not only great at what they do, but theyre AMAZING at what they do! I would never go anywhere else!!!!

    I moved recently from Coral Springs and one of my friend that lives in Pompano Beach recommended Gina a young hair dresser to do my hair. I am very happy and satisfy with her professionalism and knowledge. The salon is very clean and you feel very welcomed. I would definitely recommend this salon and in special Gina to all my friends.

    Ive been going to Shear Excitement exclusively for a few years now. I got a Groupon, made an appointment, was assigned to Nicole, and Ive never looked back. She absolutely loves what she does! I usually sit in her chair, and tell her to do whatever she wants, and I leave feeling awesome. The staff is great, well organized and always helpful. So reasonably priced, too. I cant recommend them enough.

    Good customer service and very enthusiastic group of hair stylists!! when I moved down here about a year ago I was still trying to find a good barber for my haircuts, went into the Pompano mall and got a referral for this salon. At first I was doubting it because it was not my regular barber cutting my head. But Mercy surprised me when she was done with my head, she was outgoing, confident, and very professional. Thank You!

    I needed a trim, and wanted something easy and inexpensive. The atmosphere of the salon was bustling, but all the staff was very friendly and helpful. Jaclyn, my stylist, was trained at Aveda, and gave me a great cut. Ive already booked 2 more appointments with her since the prices are great, and the quality of work just as good as something I would have paid double for. I would highly recommend this salon!

    I’ve been coming for about a year. Melissa is terrific. My hair has never looked better!! She is the best. Thought I would never find someone when I moved here from New York. But I was wrong. Great place and great stylist!!

    I’m so happy to have had Jordan and Giovanna part of us to perform an open air balayage on my hair at our academy, from the moment I went into Shear excitement to meet her for my consultation they were all so welcoming and helpful they make you feel part of their family there. Jordan and Giovana helped coordinate a continued education class for our students to deeply understand the balayage process.. the process and their explanations through the entire process was so in depth and precise yet so professional! Jordan and Giovanna show how much they care of their profession and of the clientele as well as passionate on sharing knowledge! You won’t be disappointed in their services, my hair is beautiful and healthy!! You’re in great hands with this salon!!

    The salon is beautiful. But the service is spectactular ! Aly just started my hair without ever meeting me and made me feel at home. Shes a down to earth, humble, realistic hair styilst. I love that she puts health first instead of money. Not all hair styilst put the client first and usually put money in there pocket first. I would and will always reccomend Aly at shear excitement salon ! She is my new favorite and now my personal hair stylist in my eyes. Check her out !

    I also bought a Groupon months ago and had the opportunity to use it today. Jessica at the front desk was very polite and helpful. I made an appointment for a full color and when I arrived asked if I they could fit me in for a pedicure as well. She told me that in between washing the color out they could fit me in. In the meantime, a woman came in and began to sweep the floor, she was not a happy camper. She was complaining about the state of the salon. This somehow irritates me as I believe it upsets the clients as well as the staff and this should be done in the privacy of the staff. Cristiana, my colorist was very sweet and did a great job. My hair color was alot darker than I usually have it but I did say darker was alright. The pedicure I received was done quickly but beautifully however, the woman never told me her name. All in all I have to say that while my initial opinion was a bit tarnished, I had a decent enough experience and with my groupon including a tip (20%) for both the colorist and the nail tech, I paid a total of $99.00 for color cut and french pedicure. A great deal!

    I always get my hair cut here. Its not too expensive and theyre very good at listening to what I want. My girlfriend actually come here so thats the reason why I first started getting my hair cut here. They have good service and the staff is friendly.

    Thanks to all of the very talented people here. I found them several months ago and always leave very happy. I always get the feeling that they pay extra attention to listen to what youre looking for and make sure thats what you end up getting. In the past Ive always thought of getting a haircut like taking a chance and merely hoping that I liked how it came out, but since Ive been coming here its been great every time and Im finally confident that Ill be happy with the result, ahead of time.     Came here to have Gio trim my beard. Service was fantastic, Gio took her time to line me up exactly as I wanted. Staff was nice and very welcoming. Place was quite clean, overall a great experience.
