A friend recommended Katarina Forster to me, and I can honestly say she is the best thing to happen to me in years (…apart from my husband, but it’s really a toss up as to who I love more 😂). In less than a year she has taken me from having cystic acne on half of my face and years-old scars on the other half, to having a glowing complexion. Every single person who works at the PV location is welcoming and eager to make sure youre comfortable while waiting for your procedure.Ive been going to Katarina for almost a year to focus on even skin tone, acne prevention, and anti-aging. She is a god send!! The changes I was able to see as early as 3 months into treatments was unbelievable. She is constantly educating herself and attending courses to make sure you are receiving the best recommendations possible. As long as you follow her guidance for services and at home care, I am certain you will achieve the results you want to see. Treated myself to a Hydrafacial at Amara Med Spa with Katarina Forster and it did not disappoint! After 37 years of never going going to a professional (Dermatologist or Aesthetician) for my skin, I was seeing fine lines and noticed my skin not as hydrated as it once was and figured it was about time to start doing something about it - better late than never! From the second I walked into Amara Med Spa I was greeted with a smile from the girl at the front desk, wished a Happy Birthday and offered a glass of champagne - they know how to spoil their guests! Katarina my Aesthetician, was not only wonderfully professional but an absolute sweetheart! She truly cares about her clients and is passionate about what she does! She took her time to ask what my concerns were with my skin and what I wanted to accomplish, and then explained the process of the Hydrafacial and what it does. After double checking for any allergies she worked her magic! With every step Katarina checked to make sure I was comfortable, described what she was applying and how it would benefit my skin. My skin felt amazing afterwards! Softer and more hydrated than its been in years. It was an incredible 80 minute treatment! She provided her card and phone number to call if I had any questions or concerns post-treatment. Katarina set me up with a morning and evening skin care routine, specialized for my skin and in less than a month there is a noticable difference! The customized treatment has kept my skin smooth, hydrated, and looking gorgeous! My makeup goes on flawlessly now - not clumping on dry skin - because there isnt any, or pooling in pores - because theyre minimized. I definitely look and feel better than I have in years all thanks to Amara Med Spa and Katarina! Cant wait for my next appointment!

Katarina has been a miracle worker for my acne-prone skin the last 10 months even through pregnancy and all the lovely hormones that come with it! I’ve been to aestheticians and dermatologists in the past that only do a treatment or prescribe a medication and send you on your way, but Katarina gave me a personalized skin care routine, told me supplements I could take, foods to eat, etc. She really has worked to try to heal my skin from the inside out! I try and get a facial/hydra facial from Katarina at least every other month. She has transformed my skin this past year, and I can’t thank her enough! I had an onset of adult acne that came out of nowhere, and she has helped me regulate my skin, and get my confidence back! She is a wealth of knowledge on the medical grade skin products as well, and I plan to do the RF Microneedling with her in a few months to help with the scarring. While waiting (not long) I was checked in on and acknowledged by all staff. Little things like this always set your treatments up for a great experience. April is incredibly knowledgeable about the products she uses and the devices/services she offers. We first chatted about my skin and current concerns. Thank you for listening and educating me as well. April then got down to doing her thing and did an amazing chemical peel that was perfect for my skin. April made everything so comfortable and really took her time to make sure my results were just what I wanted. Finishing up, I was able to get my ZO products so that I could continue my skincare at home. I literally cannot wait to come back. I’ll be there at least once a month to see April! This place is THE BEST in Jacksonville. Katarina is my aesthetician and she is TOP NOTCH. I have never really had skin issues like acne or anything like that and I had never gotten a facial before. Katrina is my hero. 8 months ago she was recommended by my daughter, in fact my daughter gave up her appointment for me. I was Red and blistery from a bad rosacea break out. I had been dealing with Rosacea for 2 years at the time ( happy 50th birthday to me: the present- rosacea- ugh) All the dermatologists wanted to treat me with antibiotics and more antibiotics- oral and cream. I got sick from the oral prescription and the cream was barely working; even the $500 prescription. I was about to give up when I met Katarina. Within one visit the red irritation was gone. Since I live on the road for work she knew I couldnt come in on a regular basis so set me up with a routine for home facials and home skin care. I asked her several questions on insta messenger and she was prompt in all her replies. Today I returned to Katarina and even though I had a few hormonal spots she was so happy with the results. I got my facial and we changed up a few products. I am beyond happy.
