    Dr V is absolutely amazing. No one knows that I have collectively over 200 stitches in my nose! I had a prior surgeon to him as well. In between the two of them no one knows.Ruby is an amazing PA. I trust her implicitly. The staff is great as well. You will not be disappointed on any level. I fly from Michigan to Punta Gorda just so I can have Dr., Vera, and Ruby.!

    Fabulous experience! I was told by my husband what a wonderful experience this would be, and they totally surpassed his ratings. From the moment you are welcomed with a friendly smile, while being prepped for Surgery by kind, sincere nurses that listen and make you very comfortable to the most wonderful “Doctor V.” That treats you so kind and respectful, I can’t imagine going through this anywhere else.     Great experience with everyone very professional, and courteous to each other and to patients. My appointment was fitted in to their busy schedule, and I was seen at the time noted for me to come. My wound healed very nicely and stitches are already not as noticeable 2 weeks later.     I was in a very bad place when I went to this office. Having a very bad rash that I just not could get a grip on and nobody knew what it was. The office personnel very kind professional and knowledgeable. The doctor was absolutely wonderful. They knew exactly what I had and started treating it. You can see in the doctors eyes that he was truly concerned for me. And as he treated me these sores I had started to go away after many months of having them. You could see in the doctors eyes that he treated me like I was his own. I would highly recommend them to anybody. And they also took my Medicaid. After I read about him it was obvious just how good he was. Make him your first visit and you will not go to anyone else

    The service and empathy shown by everyone with every interaction I have encountered has been nothing less than awesome. Dr V is very personable and takes the time and professionalism to make sure your concerns are addressed. All my family uses Florida Skin Care, they are always able to schedule appointments that work for your schedule, as well as the sense urgency.     I went to the Florida Skin Center at 329 E. Olympia Ave. in Punta Gorda, FL. I saw Dr. Chetan Vedvyas. This is one of the best experiences I have ever had at a clinic. Everyone from the front office to nurses and assistants to the doctor were incredible. The doctor and assistants explained every step in the process as well as educated me regarding my type of skin cancer and the procedure itself. I would highly recommend this office...it is one of the best!

    This was my first visit. I was greeted by two friendly front desk people. Clean, cheery waiting room. I didnt wait long. I had marked up a paper body chart of various skin things I was concerned about. The person taking the notes put all of them down. The Dr. Andrews addressed every one! She also did a very comprehensive look at my entire body. I was very anxious, but then so happy to find out that there were no areas of concern for any treatment. No cancer. Some old age spots. I can live with that. Oh, and, they said, PLEASE wear sunscreen. I will do that!!

    I cant give this establishment 5 stars UNTIL they improve their patient portal process. WHEN I am allowed access ,(locked out repeatedly) , there is virtually no way of downloading previous health records to create a little valuable history allowing their medical staff to perhaps write drug prescriptions that wont be harmful to your health condition. A far, far cry from the health databases in the NorthEast. Not even close. But, that is another matter. The medical staff here, led by Dr. Chetan Vedyvas, is focused on delivering excellent care. Dr. Vedyvas credentials are impressive, (5 years at top ranked Massachusetts General Hospital is a huge plus) and he has a down to earth manner putting patients completely at ease. Ruby Trujillo, his PA, is a dedicated, thorough professional taking time with her patient appointments, answering all questions. The support staff is always been warm, friendly and helpful.

    I have been in the care of Dr Aurora Badia at Florida Skin Center Ft Myers & Cape Coral for 10 years for regular Melanoma check ups and feel in very good hands with her. On a recent visit she took a biopsy on a growth on top of my head which returned cancerous results requiring Mohs Surgery. She referred me to Dr Chetan Vedvyas, the Surgeon at their Punta Gorda office. It was an excellent & successful visit requiring quite a large incision and large part to be cut out. Dr Vedvyas is a wonderful surgeon and a total expert in his and many other fields. He also has a marvelous personality and explains the surgery, the procedures, the after care and everything about it very well which made me feel at ease immediately. He also has a fabulous, kind and professional team working with him. The surgery went very well and was successful; and in 2 weeks I am looking forward to visit his office for a follow up and to remove the sutures. It was a bit of a scary situation before the visit. But now I know that I am in the best hands with Dr Vedvyas. He is The Best !!!

Dr. Vedvyas is one of the best doctors (not just dermatologist) I’ve ever been to. He is professional, listens well, is thorough and explains what he’s doing along the way. In no way did I ever feel he was rushing through my exam despite having been told he was running a bit behind due to his morning surgeries running over by a bit.     Dr. V is a kind caring clinician who genuinely cares about his patients. This visit I had 7 biopsies and 3 cryosurgeries, but I am still sold on Florida Skin Care Center.     There are not enough words to explain what a wonderful experience that I had this morning at The Florida Skin Center Punta Gorda office beginning with the staff Bernice, Jenny, Gabriella, and Dr. Chetan Vedvyas. The great Dermatologist from Fort Myers, Dr. Aurora Badia, found a tiny growth on my neck over a month ago. The biopsy came back basil cell skin cancer. If it spreads and grows into other parts of one’s body, it can become very serious. Through Florida Skin Center in Fort Myers, I was introduced to Dr. Chetan Vedvyas a little over a month ago in the Punta Gorda Office. Dr. Vedvyas is an expert and has performed numerous MOHS surgeries on many patients. Immediately after my pre-op visit with him a month ago, I felt that this doctor knew his material, and I left with full confidence in his procedure, which I had this morning. There is only one word left to describe this incredible doctor: AMAZING. I never felt a single poke from the local anesthetic, to the cutting of the lesion, and to the finishing up with the internal and external stitches. It is well worth the 30 mile plus trip to have this gentleman perform any type of dermatological surgery on you. If needed, I will not think twice of going to this Punta Gorda office where a full top floor is being constructed to be dedicated to his MOHS Surgery patients!!!
