    Smart styles is the best place it’s convenient. The location is good. The people are nice. I get a decent cut. I only have two problems. Sometimes I don’t get a shampoo unless I mention it and the most important thing is your prices have doubled in the last two years, and that’s really not acceptable and if I can’t afford to give the girls who cut my hair a decent tip I’m gonna have to go somewhere else cause it’s not fair to them

    I have recently moved to the area and needed to find a new stylist. Shannon was great. So kind and listened to what I wanted. She went above and beyond in customer service. I will definItely be going back to her again.

    Service was amazing 👏 $25 just to get my head shaved was a bit surprising. I recently broke my neck in a motorcycle crash and cant cut my hair myself right now. Oh well, lesson learned. Gonna try a barbershop next cut. 😆

    Great vivid colors!Since i have retired, i have let my artist side show more and more. It has been great so far!I Came here to have a color job done with blue, purple and highlights of red.I met with the colorist, who also happens to be the manager to get the coloring done. She listened to me, and gave me what i asked for. I love it!!!She was professional and artistic.I highly recommend this salon!!

    My new favorite hair salon! Needed a cut and decided to try out this place before shopping at Walmart. Brittany was my stylist and did a great job, was quick and did exactly what I wanted. I’ll be coming back so much easier than going to another high dollar salon.

    I am kind of appalled by all the negative reviews and thankful that I did not see them & end up not going because of them. To start with, I would like to say that I am in a wheelchair and this place is very accessible & accommodating (I did not have to get out of my wheelchair for my haircut). It really meant a lot to me because I am normally not offered a choice at some other places.Everyone was very friendly and happy to be here. I had Tabitha and she was absolutely amazing! I showed her pictures of the general look I was going for & told her Im not picky and that if she wanted or needed to adjust the haircut for my face or hair (since I have thick hair she can)! She did such an amazing job! My pixie cut looks so cute! I absolutely love it & her! I will definitely be returning for Tabitha!

    I am extremely particular about my hair and coming from New York I’m so used to spending so much money on a haircut. When when I moved down Florida I found a hairdresser in Port Charlotte they did terrific work but I walked out of there spending over $40 for a haircut. When I relocated to Punta Gorda Florida I had no idea where I was gonna go for a haircut so I decided to go tryouts smart style since they were right right in the shopping center where I shop which is Walmart on Kings Highway. I’ve been going there ever since. I only go to one woman her name is Laura, not that everyone else is not as good, but she took the time to learn how I like my hair and then she made sure that she made notations of what scissors to use etc. and that meant a lot to me and all she had to go on was a picture that I showed her where I really had loved my hairstyle at that time. She did a fabulous job for half the price of what I was spending which allowed me to leave a larger tip

    I had the most wonderful experience at the Kings Highway salon. My family and I are visiting from NC, and my daughters hair became a nightmare and completely tangled. The ladies at this salon Melissa and Kim were fantastic. They saved my babies hair from having to be completely cut off because it had knotted itself so badly that I couldn’t do anything. I used six brushes, I called several other places who said to use everything from coconut oil to WD-40. When I called this salon and Kim answered the phone she told me to try olive oil and if that didn’t work to just bring her in. Well I tried the olive oil and it worked somewhat better than most of the other things that I had tried, but ultimately I had to give up and bring her into the salon. I brought her to Kim. Kim worked tirelessly for 3 1/2 hours on her hair, Melissa came in to help when she could, it was finally free of tangles and knots. Kim was able to save all but a quarter piece of hair that I insisted she cut because she wouldn’t give up. I asked that she give her a trim afterwards and she even went the extra step to put it into a ponytail and braid it so that it wouldn’t get knotted again. Kim was an angel and really made me feel good, not once did either of them, Kim or Melissa, make me feel like a horrible mother about the condition of her hair. I would recommend this salon and these ladies to anyone.

    I have been here on a few occasions. Michele did my hair on my wedding day (about 6 months ago), with a partial highlight, a cut and an updo. My husband got his hair cut the same day, from the redhed. Michele did a good job on the color and a beautiful job on the updo, but she didnt cut it a short as Id hoped. I came back again a few days ago and Melissa cut my hair. I am happy with the cut, but needed to point out that it was uneven She corrected it right away, and was very nice. My husband comes here for haircuts and is usually happy with the service. The first pic is the more recent visit.
