Shades of Essence Salon has been my home for the last 4 to 5 years. It’s chic, stylish, classy, fashion-forward, and full of positive vibes and love so leave your worries and drama at the door. Corletta (my stylist ), Nikki and Charmaine are genuine and down to earth and they treat you like family. Shades is going to serve you professional beauty services, healthy hair care, and a style to fit your personality, along with an upbeat and trendy atmosphere, great conversation, and a guaranteed good laugh. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this salon!!!

I simply love everything about this salon! The stylist, decor, and warm feeling I get when Im there. Its clean, cozy, and comfortable. Its the perfect space or size, not overwhelmingly large and not too small. I enjoy great conversations. I sit in the chair and let my hair stylist have her way. Shes that good! She learns her clients and is able to deliver exactly what fits them. She not only provides hair styles, she also provides hair care. Ive gone to my stylist for 20 plus years and Im still very satified! She understands my hair and guides me on ideas and hair care specific to my hair type. I love coming to get my hair done at Shades of Essence. I love Nikki, Corelatta and Charmaine. They style your hair to fit your style while ensuring it remains healthy. I leave the salon, like tonight, feeling confident and beautiful. Prices are excellent. Conversation and advice is abundant between the stylists and clients.

I absolutely love this place. The place is amazing!! It’s truly a one stop shop they have amazing handbags and accessories for any and every event. It’s always clean and everyone is respectful. My hairstylist Corletta the owner is always super sweet and very accommodating. Not only is she down to earth she is a great listener and really understands what her clients want. She has transformed my hair for the best and I couldnt be happier. I can’t see myself ever going anywhere else!!

This salon is so awesome! Both Beauticians are amazing and keep up with the latest trends. They love what they do and it shows! You will walk out looking like a star! The Shop is so relaxing and everyone there is like family. Not only are you getting great service but great company as well!

Clean, classy & cozy. My friend has been telling me about Nicole for months. I finally went to see her and WOW. What a kind, calm personality. She is very knowledgeable and fixed my color oops. Also, its not a hassle to get scheduled. Thank you Shades of Essence!
