So I had been waiting to find an awesome salon to highlight my hair cause a lot of stylists haven’t done it the way I wanted. So I made an appointment at 8:30 am!! I was early however my stylist didn’t show up until 9:15. Not to big of a deal since I was stayin at the resort. So I finally get into my appointment the stylist was very nice (hard to understand) I thought she understood what I wanted as I showed her a picture numerous times. She told me the color I picked was too dark cause my hair was so blonde rather than argue about it at 10am now I said ok. Took about an hr to do 10 foil lowlights. After washing it was now 1030 and our check out was 11am. I told her sorry but I will brush my hair and fix it in the room since I had to go. I went to pay and the manger asked me what happened so I explained. She was so nice and said ok I am not taking your money right now and I told her I will come back after I check out. Get to the room and I blow dry my hair and it was nothing like what I asked for infact all the blonde is washed out by the light brown color she told me was better than what I chose. So I wanted my blonde w thick dark lowlights. My friend asked me if I meant for it to look gray. Ash colors tend to do that especially to blondes. I was so upset I wanted to just cry!! I ended up not checking out as my y reservations were extended and the hotel manger (not knowing what had happened) was getting a larger room for me. At that moment the spa manager was at the front desk and she was the most professional understanding kind woman I had ever met. She said lets go outside and look at my hair. I showed her the same pic of what I wanted and she apologized for it lookin nothin like the picture and said she was not charging me for anything!! I gave this review four stars because of the two mangers!! Mostly to the spa manager who was knowledgeable in the boutique, at the appointment desk and just as a manager!! I wish I could remember her name but she is a tall beautiful African American w great style. It wasn’t about her not charging me rather about how she made me feel about the situation cause a woman my age am particular about my hair its like a man and his car.😊. Thank you again and if I ever went back I think I would have her referring me to the right stylist!! -

I was down in Florida for my cousins wedding (I was the MOH) and I got my hair done in the salon downstairs by Paul. He rocked my hair!! I got my hair done 2 weeks earlier for my own wedding in NYS and it was nearly as nice and didnt hold nearly as well, this definitely blew me away!Paul had just returned to work after having surgery so he had to sit majority of the time (hope youre feeling better Paul, if you even read this haha) The bride and myself didnt really have any ideas for a hair style for me other than it being up and having curls, you know the typical bridesmaid style. This was anything BUT typically. Paul took a minute, thought about it, and dove right in! And as you can see by the pictures he did an amazing job, I cant even imagine him doing a better job if he wasnt in so pain from surgery!!My hair held up ALL NIGHT with all the moving around for pictures, fixing the brides dress, dancing, slight drinking haha. It was amazing! Even at the end of the night when I got back to my hotel, no headache from the bobby pins and not a hair out of place!Thank you Paul!! Wish I flew you up to NY for my wedding!!
