    Today was my first time to try a Japanese hair wash treatment, and it was such a relaxing experience. The scalp massage had a good amount of pressure and was very soothing, and my hair felt so clean and refreshed afterward. I would recommend this to anyone looking to pamper themselves—it’s a great way to unwind. Joyce did a wonderful job.

    My first Brazilian and she was really professional and thorough. Brows are also on point!!! Joyce is an absolute gem. I always try to support local gals and Im so blessed to have found her!! Its so refreshing to find someone who is a perfectionist and so dedicated to her craft.****Update: Almost a year later and I cant say enough good things. Joyce is inspiring and such a positive person. She offers a wide variety of services and is absolute perfection. Im not sure what dye she uses for my eyebrows, but it lasts sooooo long. Loved the facial I received. ALSO.... She just got one of those head spa tables, and I cannot wait to try it. Sounds like a blissful experience.

    Joyce is the absolute BEST. She is very meticulous with everything she does. She measures your facial dimensions before waxing your eyebrows and they come out perfectly every time. She is very knowledgeable about skincare and has helped me with my skin problems, which are complicated. I’ve been to plastic surgery offices and overpaid for lasers and products and none of that compares to Joyce’s services and skincare suggestions. Also, she is very funny! It’s always a relaxing and fun treat to see her. Her pricing is really really good too. I have 3 teenage boys at home who also come to Joyce for eyebrow waxing and facials and they love her. She makes everything fun, and their skin looks sooooooo much better after a facial with Joyce. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

    Joyce has done a lash lift and microblading for me and I could not be happier with the results! She is a true professional and knows her craft so well! I will admit that the first night after microbladingnit was such a big difference I wasn’t sure if I liked it or not. But after about 10 days it begins to heal and lighten up and now I am so happy that I decided to have it done and that I chose Joyce. She really is the best! And if you have someone doing treatments on your face you should definitely make sure that they are the best!

    So glad I came across this hidden gem! Joyce was amazing at cleaning up my brows! She did a lamination as well and it turned out perfect.     I’m so glad I found Joyce via Google I had to share a review! I appreciate her knowledgeable and careful approach. Today she did a lash lift and tint which turned out great. My natural lashes are straight, fine, light, and short (aka invisible!) Joyce adjusted the processing time because my lashes are so delicate to make sure there was no damage and that is critical to me! They are now visible and have a great curl that is just right for my hooded eyes. She also made great recommendations for a couple of other services based on her observations of my skin and brows. She’s efficient, insightful, and honest and I look forward to my next visit.

    I recently had an eyelash lift and tint, along with a brow wax and henna tint. My overall experience was excellent! Joyce is very friendly and personable. The lash lift and tint looks incredible as well as the brow wax and henna tint! Joyce was quick to respond and got me in right away. She was very informative about the process and aftercare. Ive never had a lash lift and tint or my eyebrows waxed so I was nervous to have it done. I have very blonde eyelashes and eyebrows making them difficult to see. Joyce mapped out the shape of my eyebrows prior to waxing and tinting which made them turn out perfectly even. Not to mention the wax was pain free!     I recently made a surprising decision to have my eyebrows micro bladed. Surprising, because I rarely wear makeup and no longer dye my hair .     I love Joyce! Ive been going to her for all sorts of beauty services for about 4 years now. Shes honest, easy-going and gets to know you on a personal level. She treats you like a friend instead of a number. I get dermaplaning done by her every 2 months, had henna brows , brow wax, and lash lift done by her as well. Her service and manners are always top notch. I feel pretty walking out of her salon, always. Last year, I had microblading done by an amateur artist as a free model (silly me, thinking Id get free good-looking eyebrows) and she botched my brows!! After a few months hoping Id like the eyebrows, I called Joyce and she was able to fit me in and corrected the mistake by the other artist as best as she could for me. My brows looked 10 times better after Joyce fixed them for me! I just came back from a microblading touch up by her and cant wait for them to heal up and look beautiful :)

    Ok I’ll be honest. I moved from San Antonio (a small town of about 2 million) to Utica last year and I was shocked at how much detail Joyce puts into evening out my eyebrows. In a big city like San Antonio, you are often treated as a number rather than like a person and it’s always next next next and money money money, but Joyce is truly passionate about what she does and y’all… SHE MEASURES your eyebrows to make sure they are even.     Arch by Design made me feel beautiful the minute I walked in her business. I was a true candidate for eyebrow micro blading. Through the years I always penciled in my eyebrows as I had very faint thin eyebrows. Penciling ultimately pulled the hair root. Through the years I was left with no eyebrows.     Joyce did a hyaluronic lip plumping for me. I have very thin lips and now they look beautiful and natural---and no needles!! I would definitely do this again and would recommend it to anyone who who wants to add some volume to their lips.
