Maddie & Ginger hands down the best! They both were so personable, very good at what they do. They both took amazing care ofMe. Explained what I wanted and the delivered and then some. Absolutely loved everything about this service. The decor and vibe about the studio is what I want in a nail salon. The service was amazing, I upgraded to a higher level of pedicure and worth every penny. I wish I could transport this place to Los Angeles so I could come all the time. Ginger was great, professional to no end and very sweet.

Customer for 3 years - always excellent service! Convenient online scheduling, natural/clean products, scrub made in-house daily. Unlike so many salons, this one does not allow walk-ins to ‘bump’ your appointment time. Always taken right away. Shayla is my ‘girl’ and she is awesome!

The space is really nice, no one is talking, the chairs are comfortable, and the music was good.I made the appointment earlier that morning while I was out of town so I didnt really know what to expect. The person I got was new to the company but had plenty of prior experience. However, it took him 2 hours to finish a level 1 manicure and level 2 pedicure. I left 45 minutes after the store closed and arrive late to my wedding party. When making the appointment earlier that day I was told I could be out within an hour fifteen. It might be because hes new that it took so long, because I saw plenty of other people leaving at a reasonable time.

Convenient location for me. Within walking distance of my home. Clae Nail Studio is the rebranding of Minimal. Their new sign is not up yet, but dont let that fool you, theyre open. Go online and book! The place is clean, spacious with a lot of windows. Miyana provided excellent service. She had great attention to detail and care. Im definitely going back.

I’ve been going to Clae Nail Studio (formerly Minimalist Nail Salon) for almost a year. I’ve always had a positive experience. It is clean and doesn’t have the typical acrylic smell that most salons have. Might I add that Ginger is the absolute best!!! My gel polish stays on for at least 3 weeks every time she does them. I recommend this salon and ask for Ginger!!

This is the 4th salon I have tried since I moved to Tampa and I love the relaxing experience this salon provides.They offer you several drink options when you arrive. Today I was excited to find out they now offer Mimosas! The perfect drink for an afternoon appointment.Ginger is a great nail tech and very professional! I highly recommend this salon. Yelp delivers once again! I saw all of the positive reviews and decided to give this place a try. I am so glad I did! From the second I booked, I was met with excellent customer service! The owner, Brandon is very personable and genuinely nice and this bleeds into the staff. Literally everyone here is very friendly and helpful. Erica, Deja & Nina were amazing. I had Nina & she is now my official spirit animal. Very nice and just has such great energy, she also gave me one of the BEST pedicures and manicures that I have ever had! I am now hooked on this place, the decor, the wine & the vibe here creates an experience that exceeds every other nail salon! I now have to get myself to Tampa next month for another appointment! I cannot recommend this place enough.

I live down the street and decided to give the minimalist a try because of my roommate’s positive experience and I am THRILLED I did!I have been looking for a place I really enjoy to go for the past year in Tampa. I hate going into a nail salon and feeling like a burden/hassle and waiting forever even with an appointment - which is what I have experienced at most places my first year living here. However, the Minimalist was wonderful! When I walked in, I immediately felt welcomed. I didn’t have to wait long before I was sat with my wine already poured for me at the nail station. I saw other girls had cozy blankets and pillows to use as well. Exemplary service!The place is beautiful and clean! (I wish I remembered to take pictures). I recognized some of the art behind the front desk was from a local artist and recommended they put more of her art up! I love small businesses supporting local artists so I was thrilled I saw them supporting local artists.Julyah was my nail tech. She was gregarious, professional, and fantastic! Turns out my roommate had her as well last time and loved her too! She did a great job on my nails and I got compliments on the “love the lava flow” color Labor Day weekend! I love this place and will 110% come back!!!!(More informative for owner of market in the area) - Part of the reason I did not come here prior was due to the fact they only have gel and regular manicures. I’ve recently quit the acrylic lifestyle because my nails are fairly sturdy now due to a year of having a desk job. My roommate and I were a little surprised they didn’t have dip. My roommate wanted to go back to the Minimalist yesterday but instead went somewhere else because one of her nails was broken/too short for her liking to do a gel manicure- she wanted one fake tip or something for the nail that was shorter than the rest. She’s not the only person I know who tends to get picky about the length of their nails. But it was an observation that even though she loves this place and prefers coming here, she didn’t come because there wasn’t a way they could repair the nail to match the length of the others. Not sure if there’s a way you can implement a nail length repair without breaking the “minimal, natural” nail vibe but food for thought!

I started seeing information about the Minimalist Salon a few months ago, as a new resident to Channelside, I was super excited to have a nail salon open just around the corner for me!I love a great mani/pedi, not just for the way they look and the fun, bright nail colors but for the quiet time and pampering. I was super curious about the philosophy behind the Minimalist. According to their website, they keep things clean, healthy and focused on you. This may not be the salon for everyone, they only offer a few services.They opened this week and perfect timing for me as it was time for me to get a manicure and pedicure.I took a few minutes from their Instagram and clicked over to their online booking system. It was pretty straightforward and easy to use. They make sure you are booking all the time you need and there are several options. Pay attention so you are booking for what you need. For instance, I have gel polish and that takes extra time to remove and apply. I did run into a bit of hiccup when I tried to book my SO for his mani/pedi at the same time. They are still working out the kinks and you currently can not book two people at the same time with their system. (Just send a quick email and they take care of it) We were then emailed confirmations and their cancellation policy. At this time, you arent able to specify if you want a particular person but that is coming.We walked over just a few minutes early, the salon is in one of the retail spaces under the Fitzgerald. (check the website for parking). Walking in to the salon, it smelled fresh and clean, was bright and airy.Unlike a traditional salon the focus here is open, bright and calming of all your senses. There are just a few spaces for clients, its quiet and relaxing. You are pick your colors, there is an amazing selection of OPI. You are offered water, wine, whisky or beer. Yup, thats right, order up two fingers of whisky. the idea is for the salon to be welcoming to women and men. My SO was thrilled, it wasnt frilly like most nail salons. Which is part of the philosophy.I was seated quite comfortably in soft chair with a basin at my feet, everything has clean lines and muted colors. All the tools are opened from sealed packages for each new customer, small trays are filled with sweet smelling lotions and scrubs that are all organic. I picked the level 2 pedicure and manicure with gel polish on my fingers. It was awesome. Unfortunately, I completely forget the technicians name, she was super friendly and fun to chat with. She did a magical things to my feet. She didnt even bat an eye when I immediately smudged my toes trying to get up. The chairs are a little awkward to get up from, as I discovered.Moving to the tables. my nails were completed in short order. Filed, painted and cured in a gentle and efficient manner.Overall, I think this is going to be one of my favorite spots for a little me -time. While I miss the massage chairs you find in most salons, the quiet and relaxing atmosphere with a glass of wine, more than makes up for it! And, my nails look amazing!!

Just left my first experience here with Cheyenne and have only good things to say:1 - I came in with very broken thin nails from a bad pedicure and manicure not too long ago. Cheyenne was careful to treat them with care while not sacrificing what I came in to get.2 - Cheyenne has an excellent skill for treating guests nicely. I can tell she wants every guest to have a good experience!3 - I had a unique issue (not with my nails or service) at the end of my appointment that Cheyenne graciously accommodated and was not rude or unpleasant about. I was also the last customer in the building so she could’ve been more difficult but she wasn’t! Thank you again!!4 - My nails look great, they are the shape, length and color that I requested.Will return! :)

Update: 1 month after appointment. Yall. Im in disbelief. My nails still look perfect. They are not chipping or peeling away. I have put four new tires on my car, installed new headlights, installed gutters, done some gardening, installed a new cast iron sink, and washed and sanitized my hands countless times. The only way you could tell that I didnt just get my nails done is by looking at the outgrowth. Bianca is a SORCERESS. I swear. Ive added new pictures showcasing her wizardry.Bianca was both friendly and pleasant but her commitment to detail and making sure my nails were exactly how I wanted them is what really blew me away! Im really fussy about my nail shape but she did so good! The massage and scrub was just divine. It was so clean and relaxing. The salon is beautiful and conveniently located across from a parking garage. I will note that the pedi chairs, while beautiful and insanely comfy, are not massaging chairs which is pretty standard in a nail salon. If its really important for you to have a massaging pedi chair then this isnt the right place for you. If I lived here this would be my go-to salon and Id definitely book with Bianca again! If youre just in town visiting like me, I highly recommend seeing Bianca for a little pampering. Thank you for making me feel like a princess!

The staff is incredible. The atmosphere is unbeatable… the space feels so open and modern and there is so much natural sunlight as opposed to the usual fluorescent lighting one might expect in a nail salon. I am not one of those people that want to be left alone, but also not a chatter box, so her conversation and flow was perfect for me!I got just a Level 1 manicure, but it was still great (very straight-forward, no massage but still got a hot towel). But I splurged and got a Level 2 pedicure, which fixed the feet to feel baby soft (body scrub, massage, hot towel -- lovely).3rd time at the salon, and I always leave very satisfied! This place is amazing! I have had several visits here and my fav is Nina! She’s so kind and caring. I also love that she suggests colors to try and why she thinks they will look nice. I used to come here and only get pink shades but Nina has truly gotten me out of my pink only comfort zone! I’m so grateful for her! If you’re looking for a new nail salon this is the one! I was in town for a family getaway and wanted to get a pedicure as first thing before we started going out. I picked them based on location and reviews and making a reservation was fairly easy. Let me first say, this isnt your typical nail salon. As the name says, inside has a spacious minimalist decor. Instead of massage chairs, there are high back chairs on a low platform, with a pillow, and fluffy blanket. The foot tub is a very modern looking sink. Typical nail stations have been replaced with long minimalist tables. I had an idea of this going in based on their website. My technician was very friendly and pleasant. I booked a level 3 pedicure. I was a little disappointed in the massage but was super surprised at how smooth and soft my feet still were even a couple days later. Mina was great with the lines for my French, best Ive had in a while. However, I was again a little disappointed that she left bits of the clay on my legs and left my pants legs pushed up when it was all over. That may be how tgey do things there but especially for the price I was expecting a more polished experience, which is why I knocked off a star. Overall a decent experience but if Im in town again, Id likely try someplace else.

The best experience Ive ever had, without exaggeration.The website is clean, modern and professional. Super easy to navigate. Their appointment system is straight forward and tells you exactly what you need to know, including where to park. Once youre booked, they send you email reminders and are very clear as to what their cancelation process is.Once you arrive, the Salon is absolutely stunning. Its very clean and had such an open feel to it, that I felt instantly at ease. After each client, I saw them cleaning each area.I received both a gel pedicure and a normal manicure. Color selection was wonderful and just what I wanted. The ladies were kind and explained what they thought was best for my damaged nails from a previous acrylic application.Erica was phenomenal. She was not rough at all and had patience despite my incredibly nervous demeanor. I also heard the other young lady, whose name I did not catch, having an awesome time with her clients. Everyone was smiling at the clients and making sure they felt comfortable. Im sure we can all agree, that is not the case at most Salons.Payment was simple and quick. Prices are also a plus. I would have expected to pay more for what I received.5 stars is not enough for The Minimalist Salon. Ive been to terrible places and now, I can say with confidence that Ive found my permanent place.

Best nail salon I have ever been to, and Ill never get a manicure anywhere else! They do such careful, skillful work to make every manicure perfect- and they will fix any chips that happen within 2 weeks of your gel manicure, which is rarely needed but such a nice guarantee. I had an excellent experience. I saw this nail salon on google and the decor and menu options intrigued me. I scheduled an appointment same day and headed over to get a manicure and pedicure. Right away I was greeted and offered a drink. Shortly my specialist Julyah escorted me to her station and did a great job! I noticed she was very careful and diligent when removing the cuticle while making sure not to cut me. I ended up wanting her to apply gel polish and she graciously went ahead and did it on the spot. She took her time with the pedicure as well so all the dead skin was completely gone. I like this salon’s minimalist “Yeezy” aesthetic and love the service even more!

Usually I feel very uncomfortable and awkward getting my nails done, as its not something I have done often, and she made it feel like I was at home. Fantastic quality of products as well. I just wish some sort of acrylic/nail extension was possible here, but I know they prefer to do things as natural as possible, which I LOVE. I also expected more of a massage aspect as that was a specific in the package I purchased, but Ill take the minute I got. You also get a complimentary beverage. Best nail salon in Tampa. It’s not like the average nail salons around the area. This salon is super CLEAN and modern. They have friendly staff and hip vibes. Their music playlists are good too. The techs take their time with your nails and do things the right way. They also remove old gel on the nails with a much more gentle technique compared to other salons (if you have thin nails, you know how important this is).Just FYI, since they do natural nails only, they don’t do acrylic add ons if you broke a nail and want it to match the rest of your natural nails length.Everyone here has been awesome except for one instance (I really don’t want to be mean, I just want to be honest). One time I had an appointment with a nail tech named Jessica here and she did a poor job. My nails were lumpy and nowhere near the quality of all the other techs’ work. Jessica was also really rough and cut my skin several times with the filer. Just being honest. Overall I’ve had great experiences with all the other techs here!

So impressed with this salon. Ive been looking for a place to get my nails done here in Tampa, and I havent found a place that I really love. Obviously, there are a bunch of nail salons, but many of them are not reliable-- I always leave with chips or dents, etc. The ones that are reliable seem really overpriced for what you get. At the Minimalist Salon, I am able to get an affordable mani/pedi in a BEAUTIFUL salon (seriously so trendy and cool inside) with complimentary wine, and it looks perfect when I leave! Plus, the non-toxic aspect makes the salon smell way better than typical places. If you live in downtown/south Tampa, you should 100% start coming here. Even if you live far-- its worth the drive!

Leslie was super! Exceptional service and patience as I tried to park then pick my color. Great service and attention to detail, stopped along the way serveral times to be sure I was happy!! 5 star experience
