Nae helped my daughter to understand what is healthy hair and what type of choices of Products to use to keep her hair healthy.She was patient with my daughter and she gave her the confidence she needed my daughter walked in one way and walked out of the salon totally different with her head up high we will be returning and requesting her again thank you empire for your future hairstylist Nae who blessed us with information and she was vey understanding and she had positive energy

Made an appt for my 4 y/o daughter. Our stylist was Alyssa and she did an amazing job making sure my baby girl was comfortable. She made sure to inform me of what products she was using and confirmed with me that it was okay to trim her ends for a healthy look. Thanks Alyssa!!Came to this location for the 2nd time. My stylist was Queen! She was very nice and knowledgeable about what products to use for my hair. Ill try to book her again before she graduates :)I scheduled a same-day appointment with Janiya. She introduced herself and was very welcoming! She confirmed the services I desired which were a wash, deep condition, and flat iron (silk press). She recommended a scalp treatment for my dermatitis; the treatment and peppermint shampoo made my scalp feel amazing and clean! She explained what she was doing every step of the way. She was gentle with my hair which I appreciated. I had a great experience! Janiya had a bubbly spirit, a great personality, and was fun to talk to. I already scheduled a spa mani/pedi appointment with her for my daughter for next week and looking forward to her service. She graduates in 9 days, so book with her ASAP. Giana was my stylist she was very personable and professional I asked her if she could get me out early and without any hesitation she says yes she could have me out by 2:30 latest 3pm. So far I feel very comfortable with her service and I know she got this. I am here for a wash,deep condition, blow dry and flat iron for my short, blond bob. I will post her masterpiece when we are done. FYI I have been coming to Empire Beauty School for almost 6 years now and I just love this place

The educators were incredibly supportive and gave me great advice. Im so happy I chose EBS for my beauty education!------------Treated myself to a manicure and curly haircut with Rosie and Michelande! They were fantastically attentive and I absolutely loved their service.On a side note, Im a student there as well. This was a great opportunity to connect with the evening students as an icebreaker. I recently started visiting Empire beauty school the 3 months now because my hair is a handful for me to manage it. I usually schedule for the evenings but had free time on my hand today so I called last minute to see if I could schedule a washy and blow dry. They called me back within a few hours and scheduled for me to come in around noon. (Yah)! Once I arrived the wait was maybe around 10-15 minutes as it was lunch time. I was booked with Taneisha, this was my first time but I had no concerns, she was polite. Ms. Good hands is what I’ll call her because she massaged my scalp well and obviously wasnt afraid to use her hands. she did a really good job on a basic service and I am very appreciative of my service today.

I so love empire beauty school. The atmosphere is awesome and the teachers work with you to help you pass on your tests. The BEST part of empire is Ms Teresa!!! She is the go to for any of your needs. If you need advice on hair she will give you her best take on it and with honesty. She will make sure we have the best experience possible. Including doing fun things for the entire school to participate in. Although she can be very busy she still walks around to check on us and it’s not just one hi to the whole class she individually give you personalized hugs and make you feel like family because we are family. Anyone that is thinking of going to empire once you come for your tour you won’t think twice about it after your visit. Thank you Ms Teresa for making empire my home.

First time going to Empire for a cut. Had a referral from a friend and set up an appointment with Alyssa. The stylists are students who are continually practicing and refining their techniques and skills. It was interesting to see the various techniques being used by the students. They do have to follow a certain protocol with the supervising professional. It doesn’t interfere with your appointment, other than a little extra time needed. Alyssa did a wonderful job in meeting my expectations, and her conversation made the time go by quickly. I will definitely be going back to her for future needs.

But alas, I musnt end this all here. What kind of customer would I allow myself to be if I were to impede upon my very own precious review in such a manner without allowing time to explore the full quality of the human condition? For this to be recognized in its fullest, most subjectively truest form, one must tell the tale in utmost detail, from start to finish, microanalyzing with care the moments that slowly and surely, in the most deterministic sense imaginable, led up to this very day. So come with me on my anecdotal adventure from beyond and witness the woes entailed by the zeitgeist of our times, the encapsulation of our friendship on a macrocosmic scale, and the machinations engendered by the enigma that is our colliding human minds.I was nothing but a wee one when I first met Melina DiGiorgio. I liked Midwest emo, she liked pop-punk, what more can I say? After years of going through whimsical escapades such as trying the mysterious beverage that is herbal tea, watching 9 out of 75 movies together, and contemplating the meaning of life. After everything, all of this finally culminated towards today; the thing that might in fact be the final step in our quest of life before we eventually depart in a manner similar to-(insert generic reference to either The Graduate or Stand By Me.)Its safe to say I went into todays endeavor not quite knowing what sort of expectations I should garner. Fortunately for her, but rather unfortunately for me, Melina DiGiorgio just so happens to be too good of a salesperson, for it appeared that she signed me up for many salon treatments against my will and without my permission. It was my fault however, as I was the one who allowed her to do this as I gave my consent to allow Melina DiGiorgio full creative freedom over my body and being; mixing and mashing me around like the Mr. Potato Head I am. Its okay though, I accept my fate and the intrigue that I have allowed her to cultivate for me and my love for surprises.For my service today, I went through an amalgamation of treatments. Starting from a manicure, and ending up with me somehow having an emo eyebrow slit. This experience gave me a new and thorough perspective on many things, some regarding the state of the universe itself as a whole, and others regarding personhood itself and what it means to be human. I quite enjoyed my services, and I will enjoy them further when I have to explain to my family my new eyebrow look.Overall, Ive decided to rate my experience with Melina in many seperate categories.Manicure: 10/10. I quite enjoyed the weird new experience of having my hands be put through multiple experiences.Nail art: 10/10. During my time at empire I was welcomed in by Theresa Bean, executive director and she was very informative during my starting process, being very thorough and informative on every single paper I signed, made sure she didn’t miss anything in the tour, and also introduced me to the educators. During my short eight months being there, I was amazed with her strong verbal communication skills, her experience in coaching and leading me to the right direction all around in every aspect. The honor I had of being taught by Myiyeka in pre salon and Tashia on the salon floor was unmatched with everything I gained from them both. During classroom time and salon floor time, Theresa would be involved in everything and even with the clients. Her structure was there, she definitely provided the guidance I needed. Now I can say with all the wonderful help and praise, I am a professional licensed cosmologist.

Knowing Naes schedule was known to be booked on the regular I made sure to book well in advance. This go around I decided on the box braids. OMG I love the thoughtfulness and gentleness that Beck showed as she shampooed, combed and cut my hair. She is going to be a great asset for any establishment that she works for. 10 out of 10 stars for me!!!!!!

Rebecca was fantastic and was able to fix a previous cut I had and also fix the root coloring my previous stylist forgot to do. I know she is graduating tomorrow but you should find out where her salon will be and go visit her!

Just wow. Alyssa just set me up with the freshest cut i’ve ever seen in my entire life. this cut is more fresh than a custom ordered chick-fil-a sandwich with a brand new batch of crispy tomatoes and hickory bacon on it. this haircut looks so good that when i walked out of the store, sydney sweeney walked up to me and asked me to marry her, our wedding is next thursday. point being, their service is phenomenal and Alyssa knows what she’s doing and was able to work with any sort of specific needs i had.

I had a great experience with my stylist Amira, I was on a time crunch and she was mindful of that while being super attentive to my hair and making sure I was apart of each step by explaining the reason why she used certain products. She was a joy to be around her positivity was contagious and she made getting my hair done very enjoyable.

Words CANNOT describe how much I love my new look thanks to Lexi! I have never professionally had my hair done before and I was nervous going into it, but she made me feel like I was at home from the start. She brought such phenomenal energy the whole time and kept me engaged in a conversation which made it go super fast. Very detail oriented and Lexi made sure I was 100% satisfied before leaving. I will absolutely be returning frequently just because of the job she did. A+!

Came in today for a wash and blow dry. The staff was amazing Brittany she did a wonderful job took her time. Made sure that my daughter hair it was very very nice soaking and I was so impressed at how soft her hair was. I’m definitely referring to my friends and family.
