I scheduled birth prep with Leanne per my midwife’s recommendation and each appointment was absolutely worth it!I was a bit nervous about all the needles and trying to stay relaxed with them in, but Leanne, the office environment and staff really made the whole experience so peaceful and welcoming. I found myself looking forward to each appointment, not just because I was getting uncomfortable with pregnancy, but because each appointment allowed me to relax in a way I’ve never been able to before. I wholeheartedly believe the labor and delivery of my baby was made “easier” as a result of my acupuncture appointments. I cannot recommend Leanne enough!

I originally came to Leanne for acupuncture during my first pregnancy for nausea and headaches. Not only did I leave my sessions feeling relief but with a sense of calm and peace - exactly what I needed during such a sensitive time. She is very knowledgeable in working with women during pregnancy (before, during, & postpartum!). I ended up seeing her almost every week before my baby came and for birth prep. I always felt safe & in very good, caring hands. My last session with her was the morning I went into labor and I have a strong feeling that her extra points were what helped my baby come naturally. Not only is Leanne an incredible resource for all things natural and holistic but shes a very kind, compassionate woman who makes you feel cared for. Leanne is such a wonderful individual and professional! I have always been so afraid of needles and acupuncture but during my last trimester of pregnancy, i wanted to give it a try since i heard all about the amazing benefits of acupuncture and, in particular, all the amazing things Leanne has done for others. She really took the time to listen intentionally in order to truly understand what brought me in for acupuncture, and she made it a safe space to be vulnerable. She was patient, kind, skilled, and so knowledgable in all areas of acupuncture and Chinese healing medicine. I felt refreshed, encouraged, and excited for my next appointment after my initial visit. I can’t say enough great things about Leanne at acupuncture and wellness of the palm beaches. I started going to see her in my 2nd trimester due to severe back pain and trouble going to the bathroom. After a few sessions I noticed a huge difference! Fast forward to 40 weeks and 3 days and standing at 4cm...I made an induction apt with Leanne to try and get things rolling. The apt was at 1:30pm and I started getting minor contractions during the session, she was amazing during the session and explained what each point was that she was stimulating. She’s gentle and super sweet! By 2:45 when I arrived home I was in active labor...contractions 2-3 min apart. 7:11 that night in our home we welcomed our baby girl at a whopping 9lbs 2oz! Leanne Your amazing! Thank you for being amazing at what you do 😘

I was somewhat skeptical about the results I would see when I first came. I was experiencing pains from bilateral kidney stones, which I was developing and passing at an alarming rate, and surgery was the last recommended option. I came here as a last attempt, the last thing to check off my list “to try” before surgery. The results have been miraculous. Through a combination of acupuncture, some simple direction, and one supplement, I am doing better than I’ve done the previous six months. The pains are almost nonexistent, and my body is shedding stones naturally. My body is starting to heal itself. This is a very special place and I am eternally grateful that I walked through the doors.

I have been a client since 2014. Leanne is an amazing massage therapist and acupuncturist. Her gentle, compassionate, healing nature comes through in all modalities in which she works. I have not experienced her facial treatments, but would trust her in a second if I wanted such services.I suffer with many chronic conditions, such as fibromyalgia, migraines, arthritis, and chronic fatigue. And though I have tried many other body work modalities, I find that her massages are the most healing of any, so I just keep coming back to her. By the way, if she feels that I would benefit from another type of treatment that is outside of her scope, she doesnt hesitate to tell me.One of the non-therapeutic qualities I love about Leanne is that she is prompt and reliable. Other massage therapists have canceled at the last minute too often, so I was wary of this when I first began working with her. But in all this time, I think she may have had one emergency. And we were able to reschedule promptly.Oh, and another thing I love about my treatments: if I want to stay completely quiet, she doesnt jabber on! But if I want to talk, she is happy to do so. Unlike other massage therapists, she is absolutely respectful that this is my time and seems able to just intuitively know the level of communication I need.Finally, Leanne has an arsenal of healing techniques at her disposal, but she is laser-focused on what I need in any one session, always ensuring I am comfortable with the type of treatment she wants to incorporate before proceeding.I find these massages very effective for my pain. She often is more gentle than others have been, yet I feel that she has worked into my muscles, ligaments, etc., very deeply.I plan be a client of Leannes for many, many years to come. Recently, Dr D (who my family now lovingly refers to as “the healer”) healed a foot injury of mine I have been battling for over a year. I am a runner, and Dr D is skilled in sports performance and recovery. She also treats my husband who is a triathlete.She has helped me through digestive issues, anxiety, and sports performance issues. Just being in her presence brings me a sense of calm. Acupuncture and wellness of the Palm Beaches is the place to go for anything you need.I would give this place more than five stars if it were an option. I see Dr D. for a series of digestive issues and in my two months of treatment, things have made a huge turnaround. I’m only taking a fraction of the medication I used to. I honestly don’t know where to begin because I cannot recommend Dr. Leanne Mitchell highly enough.I first met Dr. Leanne several months ago through a mutual friend of ours. I was immediately struck by a calmness and softness about her demeanor that would make the most needle-phobic person want to try acupuncture.Then I learned of her brilliant work with regards to women’s health issues. I have struggled for decades with hormonal imbalances, endometriosis (and more!) which have all put me on the path to become an energy healer. I have come such a far way with energy healing alone, but that loving inner voice told me that Dr. Leanne had knowledge of something that would help me get to another level of healing. I’d like to add that this is rare because I let *very* few people work on me—but I just knew Dr. Leanne was one of the seldom exceptions, so I went. And my instincts were right…sure you get the benefit of acupuncture but also sound, light color and a little crystal therapy too. Not to mention the love and pure-intentioned space for healing that she holds for her clients.I am proud to say that my menstrual cramps which were at one point debilitating were about 80-90% improved under my own treatments but with Dr. Leanne, they are now completely gone!! That was part of the missing piece. My energy levels are up. Digestion (bloating) has improved. And that’s just the health-related stuff!Dr. Leanne is also a licensed aesthetician!! She embraces the philosophy that Inner Health = Outer Beauty. So I then I treated myself to her magical facial/acupuncture combo. She uses the finest of natural products. Hi I’m 49 years old, I have suffered from sciatica since I was 18 years old. I injuring my back lifting weights with my college tennis team. I have had at least a dozen severe episodes where I could barely walk, couldnt sit and couldnt stand for more than a few minutes at a time lasting months and months. Over the years I was able to get through these episodes by using physical therapy and chiropractic care.
