I had my first new patient appointment today with Larry Strauss, the PA, and he was fantastic! Not only is he knowledgeable, but hes also funny and made me feel completely at ease. The assistant working with him was also wonderful—I just wish I could remember her name. Highly recommend this team for dermatology care!

My first visit:What a wonderful experience. I am sorry I already forgot names but every person there was a pleasure to deal with. Went for a biopsy for something that looks like a skin cancer. It was painless and fast. My appointment was at 9am and was out by 9:30. But the best part was something I did not expect. Not getting lectured. I have been a sunbather and outdoors type my whole life. I knew the risks. But I wasnt therefor that. I was there to get something removed and healed., that is all they focused on. I couldnt be more happy. Thank you all at Advanced Dermatology for a pleasant visit and great information.Edit. That was my first review I never posted. Just got back from my fourth visit and I absolutely love this place. Emily at the front desk is great and like always Larry was friendly, quick, and professional. Don’t go anywhere else!

Dr. Gracia Cardona is a very nice Dr. She gives a thorough examination. I have complete trust in her. Open to questions and is very patient. Office staff is very nice and efficient. Only draw back; if your going in for just an annual exam you have to book months in advance.They are following CDC guidelines. There was a patient in the waiting area that was done with his appointment but sat there on his phone with no mask on. The staff addressed it immediately. After he left, the staff came out and disinfected the area.Plenty of parking and handicap parking. 👍

In these times of global warming and the COVID-19 pandemic it is even more important than ever to endeavor to stay well ahead of the game when it comes to my attitude toward my personal health. Especially when I have to consider the disadvantages of being a type two diabetic over sixty with far too many scars that serve as reminders of what can happen if go unprotected out in the light of day. It can be pretty depressing. Well thanks to Advanced Dermatology I dont worry about skin cancer anymore. By going to them for regular skin cancer screenings and always using their recommended sunscreen products I have had a tremendous turn around in the need for aggressive skin treatments. The biggest difference for me is having complete confidence that I am receiving the best level of care possible. Dr. Garcia is by far the best skin care specialist that I have ever been seen by and Advanced Dermatologys staff is second to none. I highly recommend them if you need the best available expert skin care.

Your prescription consisted of two items shampoo and a lotion. The shampoo was free and I took it, the lotion was eighty dollars and I refused it. Eighty dollars was a bit too much for my dandruff.My hair is oily which keeps the dandruff from becoming flaky (?)Hopefully the shampoo will be sufficient.Ed Fox

Dr. Maria Garcia-Cardona did a full body scan and discovered a small dark, slightly raised blemish on the back of my arm. Since there was no lump and I couldnt feel it, and I wouldnt have seen it, I could have gone on for quite a while without getting the needed treatment for it.She asked me if she could take a biopsy. It was diagnosed as a melanoma. As soon as she got the results, she called me. Dr. Cardona rearranged her schedule to get me an appointment before the holidays the following week.Dr. Cardona surgically removed the melanoma and the area surrounding it. She took her time to suture the wound and intentionally made a number of small stitches so that the scarring would be minimal.I am grateful that she caught the skin cancer early, had me in for surgery as soon as possible, and was very skilled in removing the melanomaand stitching up the wound..
