This was my first visit and it was a great one. The front desk employees were so pleasant and understanding. Even though I misunderstood the time for my appointment they called to make sure I was coming and gave me the time I needed to get there. I had paper work to fill out but no rush was made and they were so understanding about it. Once I got to my room it wasn’t longer before Chris came in and he listened to my concerns then did a very thorough exam. I was very impressed with the whole experience and would very highly recommended them to anyone. Thank you to the whole team.

He is truly a wonderful person who takes great care of me and looks out for my health. My initial appointment with Dr. Rotman exceeded my expectations. He took his time actively listening, addressing and evaluating me as a new patient. He and his team were very charming as well. I was sent on a wild gooze chase by another large DERMATOLOGY practice in the area where I was an established patient for 2 plus years but couldnt provide an appointment with an actual MD, only a APRN. I needed an expert to make a final diagnosis which ended up being NOTHING. Had I continued with the former practice, I would have had a large biopsy on my nose and more needless worrying. Kudos to the front office staff as well. I was told I had a payment upon check in, however, they listened as I explained I had met my out of pocket for the year and they kindly re-ran my insurance, instead of arguing. They stated that , You know your insurance best and determined I was correct and apologized. Thank you for making my experience a positive one!

This is a doctors office I will continue to go to. The receptionist are so friendly and kind. My visit was quick with little wait time to go back. The PA came in, did my examination asked me about all my concerns and really listened to what I said. Even when a mistake occurred they quickly apologized and fixed it immediately. I am an uninsured patient who visited the Davenport office for the first time ever on 7/10. The whole staff was great. Special thanks to Christopher Carniglia who was thorough and took his time to look at my whole skin and nails although I was there for just a rash on my eyes and scalp. Carniglia also took his time explaining the condition and what to expect. The prescription worked great. Three days later the pain and rash were gone.

I visited Davenport Office on April 30th as a new patient. I completed all my new patient paperwork in advance of my arrival, this always helps out the office staff and spends things up. Anne was most professional and courteous. There were many patients and patients were called back in a pretty smooth and steady pace. I did have wait a little bit longer than I expected, but I was told there was a minor surgery ahead of me that took longer. My nurse, Elvin, called me back and he was very professional, courteous, and thorough. Answered the few questions I had. Chris came in along with his assistant (I didnt get her name) and Elvin again. Chris was professional and courteous, and I was impressed with how thorough he was checking me over. Chris was quick to perform the necessary procedures and explained them well. He took a couple skin samples. Everything was quick, thorough and painless. I am not due back for six months and I am sure Ill have the same excellent level of care and professionalism as I got on this first visit. I was looking for a new Dermatologist closer to my home and I found one. Thanks again to all who cared for me on my first visit. A great lasting impression was made. Oh and the fact they dont collect payment until services are rendered is a big plus in my book. Thanks again Davenport Team! Well Done!

Tried American Institute of Dermatology due to my family being unhappy about our care at our previous doctor. I am so glad we did. I was able to walk away today knowing my husband was in good hands. All the worries I had about something being missed are gone. They checked everything not just his back and arms. They listened, looked at every spot extra hard if we pointed it out as new, different, etc. Never felt like an inconvenience. Everything was explained clearly. Continued care schedule was also discussed. Now we know how often each person needs to be seen. I highly recommend.

I love how this practice doesn’t waste any time! I went in for an exam and was called back quickly. A suspicious spot was found and the biopsy took place right then and there. No additional visit required, no extra time off of work. They get you in for your appointment fast, everyone is very kind and professional and the doctors — you know you’re in good hands. I had my first ever Dermatology appointment here & I was warmly greeted by all the staff & the Dr. I told him my concerns & he gave me a trial solution to start with to combat my skin problems (Hormonal acne from PCOS). He was very knowledgeable of the prescriptions he was giving me. He wasnt in a hurry & made sure I understood & was comfortable with the treatment plan & possible side affects. He was very thorough while looking at my skin & even used a magnifying glass which I appreciated because that shows the attention to detail in making sure he knew what he was looking at for the best course of action. They were very transparent about any costs associated with the visit & even told me a pharmacy near me that would have my prescriptions at the lowest cost. They also informed me about GoodRX that would also save money on the meds. I would HIGHLY recommend this institute. The space is also very clean! It will be a pleasure coming back.

Normally, it takes months to get an appointment to see a dermatologist but I called and found this company was able to get me in within a week. Then the day of my appointment, I was taken back on my appointed time and saw the Doctor. So that she didnt miss anything, she used a magnifying glass. I told her my concerns and she took care of everything. I thought the office operated like a well oiled machine. Plus, when I left. I received a welcome package. I definitely recommend this office and Dr Kim.

She filled in all the information I forgot to as it was my first visit and I thank her for that. She explained my options and what was the best one for me. As I had no insurance she had all cost up front before the procedure so I knew what to expect. I will start off by saying that showing imperfections has never come easy to me. I am getting married in October and I have inherited a tendency to get skin tags from my parents. I reached out to American Institute of Dermatology for help. There was initially a schedule misunderstanding but they clarified it and got me scheduled as fast as they could. Every body from the wonderful ladies at the front desk Ms Anne and Ms Sam to the medical assistant Ms Elizabeth were not only helpful but were informative and made me feel at ease from the minute I walked in to the time I walked out.My provider was Chris, PA. He explained the procedure, made sure I was 100% comfortable throughout. He also made inane conversation to get me through the most painful parts… which I am grateful for. Wonderful and knowledgeable staff. No crazy wait times and they don’t try to sell you a million products.

I absolutely love this practice! I had previously only been to a dermatologist once and received about 2 minutes of the doctors attention. Here - Chris asked if I wanted an entire scan and I did. He took his time and carefully examined. Easily spending 30-40 minutes with me. I’m glad he did because he ended up finding and removing 2 abnormal moles on my back I didn’t even known existed. He talked with me through the removal process (and when I had to come back and get more removed due to test results) and I didn’t even feel him digging in as he kept my mind off it just talking. He is clearly good at what he does because I had no issues with healing. There is another woman with him (I’m sorry I forget her name!) who is always so helpful as well. I have to go back for a checkup and I don’t even mind the 40 minute drive because it is worth it for this practice! The receptionist (Anne) is always sweet and helpful the time I had to reschedule

So far so good, Anne at Reception (who was awesome) got me to see someone the same day I went for the first time without any appointments set. I actually went just to set an appointment and left with a prescription (which is all I wanted). I was seen first by an Aide named Tiffany, and then by PA Cindy Luciano and 2 more aides. I felt comfortable enough to take my shirt off! PA Luciano was great, very patient and informative. I was offered a whole body check, which was nice but I only did so from the waist up and my legs, no one pressured me to do more than that. They even told me about “Good Rx”, which slashed my medication from $97 (deductible!) to around $35. I am very pleased with the service and that they saw me right away, unlike others who would give you an appointment 2 months into the future. Very pleased with this clinic and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

She made sure all my paperwork and insurance was filled out properly, and was great at making sure I got the product I needed, but didn’t pressure me into buying product that day. The nurse Tiffany was also great! Easy to talk to and was attentive to my explanations when I talked about what was going on. My doctor was Cindy and I can’t say enough positive things about her. She understood my current financial situation, and prescribed me something that wouldn’t break the bank, and she also made sure it was something that wouldn’t interfere with my BC or other prescriptions. I’d been embarrassed about a skin condition I’ve had for years, and she was the first doctor who didn’t shame me for having it, or make me feel like it was my fault. She was amazing! Overall, this experience was very pleasant and although it’s a bit of a drive for me, I’ll make the drive every time to come see them!

Very pleased with the service and attention received by the entire staff and Dr Rottman. He explained everything very well and the staff helped me find a pharmacy where I can get a prescription for 0 when I was paying 500 for similar one. Laura and the rest of the front desk staff were very welcoming and help us have a very positive experience.

This was my first visit to this office and I highly recommend this dermatologist! The office staff was friendly and efficient, and Christopher, the provider that saw me, was thorough, listened to my concerns and took care of me with professionalism and knowledge. And, as I was checking out, I received a welcome string bag that contained goodies from the office! I was relieved and happy that I chose this office to be my new dermatologist!

Very professional and personable environment at American Institute of Dermatology. This was my first visit today. Anne, at the reception desk, truly knows and understands Customer Service. The clinical staff, Cindy and Chris were collaborative, easy to talk to and competent without question. The clinical patient care was stellar.

Great experience! Easily accessible , state of the art office...super friendly and helpful staff. Laura and Anne made checking in, filling out the paperwork and scheduling further appointments a breeze. Constance C., my nurse was also friendly, kind, and put me right at ease. Heather Brew took excellent care of my Derm needs and has an amazing bedside manner... like a ray of sunshine. Will definitely use AIOD from now on.

From the front desk until I seen the doctor everyone was so kind. Ive been to 3 different dermatologist 1 other in Davenport, Miami, and Miami Beach for the same reason and this was the first time I felt I was being heard. Hopefully, after the biopsy I can get the right medication and diagnosis.

My wife and I just moved to the area and we needed to find a dermatologist so we tried AIOD. Everyone was amazing from start to finish. Anne at reception was so friendly and our first impression was very positive. Heather (PA) and Constance (Nurse) were amazing too. They were thorough and took the time to explain, discuss everything thing with us. We love them all and highly recommend this office!

I had a painful cyst and my Dr. was on vacation, It was just before Christmas and I needed to find someone to help quick. I called American Institute of Dermatology and explained my situation and was given an appointment that day. Ann the receptionist was great and understood that I was in pain. She got me into get taken care of quickly by the PA Chris. I was impressed by the care Cris showed. He explained what he was going to do and what to look out for afterwards.His assistants Constance and Dakota were great too.
