During the first year of Covid, the stylist that I’d used for two decades retired. So for the next three years my hair just grew longer and longer. It turns out that, after going so long without a haircut, I became scared to cut it in the pixie that I had worn for 30 years.But I grew tired of all that wild hair and the chore of washing it….what a pain. I had always had a pixie, the kind I could wash everyday and sometimes twice a day, with ease!Finally, I gathered my courage and I chose Salon 402 based solely on the positive reviews I had read. And I simply could not be more pleased!In addition to being extremely relieved that a pixie cut still suits me, I couldn’t be happier with the cut that Dorian gave me! In fact, she cuts it better and cuter than my old stylist did! I had such fun watching her cut off my 14 to 16-inch ponytail!She cut it and foiled it perfectly. There is no brassiness in the color, even though I have a ton of gray in it now. She brought the highlights up to the perfect shade of platinum, but just enough that it’s all a natural, soft shade after it’s washed and dried!I’m happy to have finally taken the steps to find my new hair stylist and even happier to find that our personalities meshed perfectly!.

I always love getting my hair done at salon 402. The owner takes amazing care of my natural hair and it’s never been this long or healthy in my life. We went with some extensions this time around and you can’t tell me that it’s not growing out my scalp! I can’t wait to get my next service!

Absolutely WONDERFUL place! I was there to fix my old yellow hair colour and they did everything perfect. The result was exactly like I imagined it! Moreover I hade really great time, enjoying the process. I’m not a patient client, but the Masters Of Hair were really nice and friendly. Definitely I will come later again:)

I was in town for spring break and stopped in at the salon in hopes that a stylist could fit me in. The salon owner, Dorian, was very pleasant and welcomed me in. She refreshed my hair color and had me feeling fabulous. I will return to her on my next visit and I recommend her to others.

Going to a salon isnt something I do, being from the backwoods of South Carolina Ive always been hesitant to get my hair done but I knew it needed to be for my neices wedding, Dorian and salon 402 was amazing, she was there every step of the way, from a vision board with ideas to helping me with questions about what to wear.The salon is relaxing, clean and full of life !She has amazing talent, I cant wait to go back and have my hair done again ❤️

Dorian is a true artist! She took the time to go over different options according to my hair type, and looked at the various photos that I had saved, and gave me an absolutely perfect haircut that was exactly what I wanted! I went from having a boring ball-like head of hair to a stylish pixie, and it was transformative! I felt like a goddess when I walked out of her salon and I still do every time I look in the mirror! Brian did hair for my wedding for my daughter and myself and is simply amazing at what he does. We liked him so much that we will.now drive almost an hour to have him as our stylist. He does exceptional work.
