My mom and I have been coming here for years, and we LOVE this place. Mari is always our go-to, but I have gone to other people if she wasn’t available and honestly none of them disappoint. I trust Mari wholeheartedly and often let her decide what would look good. That’s not common for me because I am picky. I recommend her to everyone, including recently my best friend who is getting married, and I told her there’s NO ONE else I would trust to touch her hair before her big day. She looked AMAZING and loved her hair. She felt like a new person, and I feel the same every time I leave Mari’s chair. Everyone is so kind and so encouraging here. Even the front staff make an impression, Tyler especially. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

This is an awesome salon! Every staff member is very professional and friendly.Kathy is phenomenal at coloring and cutting/styling hair, Tyler at the front desk is very welcoming, and Kaye does a great job with eyebrows. I have been using this salon for the last 8 years, I even continue to go after moving 45’ away! Great vibe, nice atmosphere, very convenient and easily accessible location. Everybody is friendly. Stylists are super talented. Kathy is the best! I like to change from long to short haircuts every once in a while. She’s always up to the challenge and can replicate any picture you show her; she’s amazing! Aveeda is an eco friendly company, manufacturing their products with 100% wind power. They use natural ingredients and are cruelty free. 😊

When I went to Aveada I had an amazing time! My colorist Gigi was incredible, I showed her a reference and she made me exactly what I wanted and she was very kind to me. Brandon did my cut and all of the layers are so gorgeous. Everybody here is so nice and very professional and my hair came out amazing!!! Stopped going here. Prices too high quality dropped dramatically. I think the person I went to had personal problems and has since retired. I may try a new person if I decide to change from my current salon. I used to love my haircuts here. Update: I went to Colin and my haircut came out good. Prices are even higher than before but when I can I will go back to him. Personal issues going on now and he’s hard to get an appointment because he has limited hours that conflict with my schedule. I will get to him eventually!

I started using Drew James Salon in 2019 after relocating to South Florida and I wont go anywhere else. I have used a few different stylist but once I found Mari no one else touches my hair. She always knows what to do, what will look good and what wont, shes honest and I love that she is always learning, teaching herself new skills. Love love love. I’m one of the people who is weird about going to the salon but this was just an amazing experience. I needed a haircut, and a gentleman by the name of Brandon made sure to make me feel at ease. From the scalp massage, to the warm tea he offered, I felt like I was getting spoiled. He was able to get my natural 4c hair bone straight without chemicals, and cut my hair perfectly so that when I do wear my afros, they are more even. I am LOVING the results. And the whole team was just so nice. Thank you all so much.
