    Took my little lady here for her Birthday and I cannot express how beyond pleased I was all the way around. We’ve gone to MANY nail salons and none have matched what we experienced today, from the welcoming atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff. We’ve had so many bad experiences elsewhere especially when my little girl gets her nails done, but they were so gentle with her and gave her exactly what she wanted (literally looked like the picture she showed them), and with my nails they are the best I’ve ever had done he understood what I wanted and needed (due to my career) and went above and beyond and even recommended a nail shape that complimented my wide nail bed and fingers which NO ONE has ever even mentioned to me before when getting my nails done. They also did a phenomenal job on both of our eyebrow waxings, didn’t hurt and for the first time my skin didn’t react negatively after. They were also talkative, which you don’t get often in a nail salon, there was a lot of laughter so to say I couldn’t be more pleased is an understatement….they literally made our experience fun which hasn’t been the case for many years when we have been to other places to have our girls day! If I could I would definitely give more than 5 stars, but they will now be our go to with nails, waxing, etc.! Thank you for a wonderful experience for our girls day and all the girls days to come ❤️

    UPDATE: 10-18-22, so I go on the regular now every 3 wks. Loving my nails. They were busy for a Sunday. Wow!I like going on Sundays early between 12 & 1 pm. Usually no wait. Ryan did my gel nails. Tina did my pedicure. I have been to other salons and always come back here. Timing. I can not believe I never did a review. My feet felt fabulous. My nails look great. I picked something fun...mellow yellow. Men, children and us gals. For me this is my spa...always great service. So many colors. I know I could get this same treatment almost anywhere but I like it here. 👌 thanks Modern Nails & Day Spa. Oh yeah they do eyebrows also.

    I usually do not get my nails done while traveling, but I decided to take a chance today. My Daughter in Law and I got pedicures. We were both very please! The staff is very friendly, helpful, efficient, and very thorough! The shop was clean and great choice of colors. We will definitely be back while we are here at Shands. When the nail tech found out why were here, when we left she told me she would pray for my Daughter in Law.❤️. I have to say that the whole staff is the friendliest staff I have EVER had the pleasure of doing business with!

    Fantastic! I ended up here because my usual places were closed on Sundays. I showed Ms. Cindy a picture of what I wanted for New Years Eve and she knocked it out of the park. She was fast, gentle and very nice. I will definitely be back.

    Our service was friendly and relaxing, Im obsessed with the massage chairs you get to sit on while getting a pedi, and the deluxe pedi is the way to go, trust me(they use fancy hot rocks). And, its super affordable!

    I’ve been a customer of Modern Nails for over 5 years now and the service is amazing and everything is always very clean!! The nail techs are very nice & they always make sure you walk out as a satisfied customer! My daughter and I see Ryan and Julie every 2 weeks but all the staff are friendly and well qualified! I’ve tried other salons and they just don’t stack up to Modern’s price, service and trendy services!They do amazing eyebrows and lashes also!!!Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!!!Nicole Mason

    Amazing place! My nail polish lasts for a long time & also my nails have become stronger. If there’s a chip in the nail polish a few days after your visit, they’ll fix it for you! The salon uses high quality products especially for pedicures. Your feet will be smooth for a whole week! Fast service even on busy days.

    I have been going to Cindy for my nails for years and she is so professional and the absolute best at what she does. She is polite and gentle and is always willing to change something on the rare occasion that I am unhappy with a polish, shape or anything. She pays attention to detail and always goes above and beyond for me. I am super particular when it comes to my nails and Cindy is truly the only person I will go to! The staff at modern nails is also very friendly and polite every time I am in the salon.

    I have been going here for awhile and I highly recommend. The staff are personable and always make you feel welcomed. Ryan is great when doing my nails and Julia is super professional with my eyebrows

    Ryan and Julia always do my nails and they are always done right. I don’t go to anyone else in town. I appreciate the time and effort that they put into the craft and also the effort that they take to make sure that all of the materials and tools are clean and sanitized. They also open a new pack every time right in front of you. I’ve been coming here for years and they are always striving for the best customer service and the best products for their customers. Would recommend highly!

    I stumbled in on this hidden gem one late night when no one else in town was open. Julia was my nail tech and she did such a good job and also had a wonderful personality so I fell in love with my modern nails and my Julia. Everyone else is really nice to always smiling, Ryan has fixed a couple nails for me and did a set on me who is also excellent. They both have great skill, take their time to do your work and are very gentle. Fresh pedicure tools, colors for days, and a clean establishment. And this Statement is from a local this is probably the best shop in Gainesville.

    I go and get my nails and toes done here every few months, I typically just get gel nail. Today I went to get something different bc I’m going on vacation and I’m so happy with the way Ryan did my nails they are ombré dipped and look amazing! Julia did my toes and she was such a total sweet heart! I think this was the best experience I’ve had since I’ve been coming here, I’ll make sure to call ahead next time so I can get an appointment for these two!On another note it has been my personal experience you get what you pay for and I’m happy to pay for the services I received today! Well worth every penny!!!

    Julia at Modern Nails does an Amazing job doing my eyelashes. Her work is impeccable and she is always professional and polite. I don’t live in the Gainesville area, however I travel to her salon just for her to do my lashes.

    Julia did a cluster set on me and they turned absolutely amazing and they lasted a long time! She was very sweet and I recommend her to anyone who wants eyelash extensions!

    I have been coming here for a long time. I like a quick pedicure sometimes or you can get the spa one. They are clean, professional, and do a good job. I have been to almost all of the salons here, and this is the best as far as Im concerned.

    Ive been getting my pedicures done here for a long time. I love that they use disposable packs and tub liners for safety reasons. No fungus among us here 😂😂 Ask for Lee...shes the best!!

    Go to Sunshine, she is the best, she is sweet and she will actually care. The bosses are there most of the time I’m pretty sure if there is a problem or if you are unhappy for a reason they will try to help.
