    2023 reviewNina is the best technician. I always leave pleased with her work. I usually get acrylic and gel mani with her. Highly recommended!—2022 reviewI have been coming here for a couple months now. The lady who has been doing my nails (acrylic & gel polish) does a really nice manicure, but the pedi service falls a bit short. I only get pedi every other month, so I will still be coming but maybe try other technicians. The location, pricing and color selection is great.

    Today I had my fill and gel done by Julie. Julie was super thorough and sweet. She took her time and made the polish was even and fully pigmented!Her son, Jason, did my pedi a couple weeks ago. Again, super thorough and attentive. Jason fixed the numerous issues I had with my toes and put on the polish perfectly. Usually my polish comes off my toes same day, but Jason did such a good job, its all still there - no lifting or chipping.Great experience with this dynamic duo! 💜

    I tried this place simply because they had a high ranking on Google and it allowed me to book online. I got Hellen, and she did an amazing job on my mani and pedi. The environment was very peaceful and relaxing. I could not recommend Hellen more. She was great. Very thorough!

    Ive been getting my nails done at Venus for the past couple of months now—every 2 to 3 weeks—and I love it! Great location, and the staff is extremely kind and professional. Plus, its always nice to be greeted by name because they remember me. ☺️ My nail technician is Mey, and she knows my preferences so well! Today, we ventured outside my normal almond-filed nails to coffin; they turned out amazing! I 100% recommend this wonderful nail salon!

    We called ahead for two pedicures, and they said come right on in. The facility was VERY clean, and I was very impressed by the sanitizing process they went through. The staff was friendly. They did a great job on our nails. We also purchased two cute bracelets that they had on display in a show case. I highly recommend this salon!

    Milan is the best! Beautiful dip for fingers and gel for toes. Exactly the color and shape I wanted. The dip was nice and thin. Perfect! Facility is beautiful and clean. I really look forward to my visits here.

    Great nail spot in Haile Plantation! Very clean, lots of chairs and a calm, peaceful atmosphere. THUY did a wonderful job on my pedicure (rare splurge) and was lovely. The place was so clean I could almost see my reflection in the floor! My kind of nail salon. They offer other services too.... See pictures

    I decided to try this nail salon out after it was recommended by many. There are several work stations however, I would still call and make an appointment because they seemed a bit busy. The facility looks clean. Technician was nice but she was a bit in of a hurry. However, my gel manicure did last quite a while ~3 weeks. Prices are fair. There are several colors to chose from but I was disappointed to see they did not have OPI gel polishes in their collection. I would probably go back.

    An elderly woman who was sitting next to me getting a pedi mentioned wanting to get a cup of coffee. Because she had to use her walker to get around, and was planning to call a Lyft to take her home, she decided she wouldn’t get one after all. Ann (a nail tech I think?) insisted on going to Uppercrust for her and brought her back a coffee. Not to mention, the young man who did her pedi was so caring and helpful, talking with her the whole time. My mani and pedi were refreshing, but witnessing the sincere kindness from the staff was even more refreshing! Thank you for warming my heart!

    This is my to go to nail salon because it is always great service for me and my daughter. I love to take to her hear for mommy and me hang outs and the nail techs are always so sweet with her, although she is shy and doesn’t talk she seems to express herself a lot more with nods and smiles as opposed to other nail salons we’ve been to before we found this one! Thank you thank you thank you! 😁

    The BEST nail salon in Gainesville! They just expanded, and made the location even more beautiful! The workers are amazing and sweet! They true care about the client! The prices are great too! Definitely worth trying out!!

    Venus nail spa saved the day for me. My toe nail completely broke off and it was just a stub. It was horrible and embarrassing. The nail tech at Venus Nail Spa hand sculpted a nail onto my toe, not using a tip. It was amazing. It looks perfect. They also were extremely nice, extremely hospitable. They offered me and my child snacks and drinks. Literally the best place ever.

    VERY newbie-friendly!I dont have a ton of experience having my nails done professionally, so I often feel a fair amount of anxiety over it. Every experience should be like the one I had today! While my tech was efficient, she did not rush at all, taking the time to do it right. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and patientI look forward to visiting again!Added bonus - the (very reasonable) prices for services are CLEARLY posted, so no surprises when it came time to pay!Update to add: Ive been back a handful of times, repeatedly satisfied with the service I receive!

    Let me start of by saying I’m not dissatisfied in my acrylic nails but I can’t help to feel like I was ripped off I paid 65$ for a new set and paid the same thing for a fill today with the same design except on my ring finger I requested a heart with the same polished used on my other fingers On my ring fingers now I truly love this place but that didn’t feel right and even though I enquire about it the receptionist not her fault didnt know why and when she asked the tech he said I was charged 15$ for the design and 50$ for a refill …. Now I’m not sure on the fixed price for anything there since it’s not provided on the website or in person upfront but I do feel like that was wrong so if you do decide to visit just inquire in details about what cost what before sitting down so you won’t feel cheated like I did

    Ive been coming here on and off for years, but just recently started coming frequently every couple of weeks to get my acrylics redone. The staff is very nice and always gives me what I ask for. My nails always last a long time. The one time they didnt and one popped off a couple days after I got them done, they redid the nail free of charge with a very welcoming attitude. Will never go anywhere else :)

    I have been going to Venus nails spa for many years. I have had acrylic nails, dip nails, and am currently wearing gel polish on my own nails. Yesterday I had my dip removed and received a wonderful gel manicure and gel pedicure from Holly. So much time and effort was put in to make sure I had beautiful results. I have been cared for by many of the talented professionals at this facility and I have always left there smiling. ☺️

    Ive been going here for a few years. The staff are really nice, the prices are fair but not cheap. As with most nail salons the quality of your service may depend on the tech but no one here has ever done a bad job on my nails, some are just better. Services Ive had done here: spa pedicure, reflexology add on, regular manicure, manicure with full set, fill in, gels, dip powder & eyebrow wax. I will say, when I got dip powder fills done they didnt soak my hands in water but those were my favorite manicures, results-wise. That said, they can do basic nails to fancy/complicated stuff, you just have to ask (obviously, theres up charges).The remodel is really bright & open, really nicely done. They have a ton of stations & pedicure chairs, really clean.I think the best selections of colors are for gel & dip powder but if you find a color you like in one product they can almost always match it to another product, dont be afraid to ask. Theyre really good about pulling out fresh bottles of polish if the one you chose is getting a bit gunky too.I really like this place. They do get really busy so its best to call ahead or make an appointment ESPECIALLY if you & your friends are trying to get done at the same time. Let them know you have an appointment when you walk in. Also, pay in cash! They take cards but they really appreciate cash instead & I love the ladies here so I try to comply, but they wont give you attitude for using a card.

    Venus is a basic nail salon but I’ve never waited longer than 15 minutes for service. It doesn’t matter if you have an appointment, so I never have to call and always just walk in. My gel manicures last 2 weeks and I bite and pick my nails incessantly. I had Vi today and I think she’s my favorite nail tech! Very sweet with a great sense of humor. Generally there’s not much conversation apart from a random question here or there, which I think is nice after a day of work where I do nothing but talk to people. This nail salon has also never hurt me and they generally work pretty fast.

    Kim did an amazing job on my nails! My service was with the dipping powder. Kim is very accommodating to what your needs are! She is very gentle( I have thin nails) and is very comfortable to be around and talk to. Thank you for making my nails become stronger and so pretty at the same time!     Went there and find out that they weren’t still open for service. The person that was there called one of the technicians and she was there in less than ten minutes to service me. She, (Ta, Bich), was wonderful. Gave me an excellent pedicure and manicure. And the foot/leg massage was very relaxing and extensive. Bich didn’t miss anything. I got a beautiful French manicure and pedicure. Thanks Venus Spa for taking me and not sending me home to come back a couple hours later. Was a good feeling knowing that you care.Thanks for your services.

    Amazing place!! After moving from Miami, I’ve been in search of a good nail place. After 3 failed attempts, I finally found my forever nail home 🥰My nail tech was Mey and she was so professional, kind, attention to detail and actually cared and inquired my opinion of the nails.     I live out of town, and I only get my nails done here. Everyone is super friendly and talented. Theres never that long of a wait even without scheduling an appointment. They have a huge selection of nail polish colors as well and the place looks clean and professional. Definitely recommend this place! Ann and Kim are my favorite.

    I have been here a few times since salons re opened after COVID. I have been very comfortable with the changes they made to keep things clean and safe for everyone. I went somewhere else last week and that was a huge mistake. Less than 24 hours later I was back at this salon and had them fix the terrible job done elsewhere.     I loved my experience with Hannah! She did a fantastic job! I was very pleased with the way they were prepared with COVID precautions.     I have been coming here since before covid. I have been all over Gainesville for techs for full sets and fills, somehow I end up here precovid and after. Mia was my go to and since she moved I found Mary. Mary is AMAZING, she takes her time and does amazing work.     The place is absolutely beautiful! The ladies were very nice and welcoming as soon as you walk in.     I was extremely pleased with the dip SNS powder manicure which I received at Venus Nail Spa. The nail technician did an impeccable job, spending approximately an hour and a half to create a beautiful ombre effect on my nails. In addition, the spa is beautiful and clean, and offers a huge selection of colors of nail polish, gel polish, and dipping powder. They also offer various nail designs and styles, if you want something beyond the regular monocolor manicure or pedicure. The prices are also very reasonable ($35 for a dip powder manicure) and the work is impeccable! I highly recommend this nail salon and wish I had something comparable where I live in DC.

    This nail salon does a great job with nails and pedicures. I did want a touch up one day, only 9 days after a manicure, and they re-did my nails, charging full price. I was clear on what I wanted, and called first to verify pricing, but it wasn’t understood. Maybe they don’t touch up dip polish. I’m still unsure, so I only go if I want a full manicure and do touch-ups myself.

    This is the best Nail 💅 Salon I have been to in Gainesville for the last 20 years me and a friend of mine went there a few weeks ago and the lady who done them fixed mine that I had done at Vynus on Archer Rd they done the worst job Ive ever had done I was sooooo mad 😠 😡 I wouldnt advise anyone to go there and they did my friends to and hers looked like 😢 a 2yr old would have done a better job than them Im very happy with Venus in Haile Plantation in the Publix Shopping center the people that work there are so nice they make you feel like youre at home 🏡 and I thank them 100% with everything they done for me and my friend 😀 they were amazing 👏 anyone who wants a great job done for a great price I would go to Venus in Haile Plantation God Bless and Merry Christmas 🎅 for

    I dont get my nails done on a regular basis but when I do, this is the place. Very clean, professional, and polite. I tried another nail salon once, because they had a lower price and more convenient location to me, but once was enough! I came back to Venus!
