I did my research through Google and IG to find Jamie! She took so much time for me. I asked her to spill all the tips and she had them. Tried out new, high quality, interesting products for styling at the end of the cut. Jamie is so sweet, friendly, and reliable.This was my first curly cut with a curl stylist. Obsessed with my hair lol. So happy I found JRossBeauty ☺️☺️

SO glad I found her! She really transformed me into a brand new version of myself and I LOVE it. I went to her April of 2019 with very very damaged hair (from at-home bleaching). She was honest (and VERY PATIENT) about what could be done & made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Two years later, I can’t see myself going to anyone else. I moved back to NYC and STILL make sure I book with her whenever I am in Florida. Thank you Jamie!! ♥️

I haven’t gotten a haircut in 2 years since I am very loyal for my hair stylist back in NYC and some bad hair appointments in south Florida however traveling back and forth for over 10 years just for a haircut became ridiculous.Brows by Tink (check him out for amazing eyebrows!!) recommended J Ross and after several months of doubts and stalking her IG, I finally booked.Booking was easy, she communicates via text and requires a small deposit. She was extremely nice, amazing energy, and very informative. She gave me the haircut and treatment my hair desperately needed as I didn’t use products in my hair (besides shampoo and conditioner) and my ends were extremely dried. I didn’t like my hair crunchy and always felt like it was so much work to manage my long hair. She gave me tips on how to take care of it and suggested products that keep the curls smooth. For once, I actually took an interest on my hair. It’s been a month and I have gotten so many compliments on my hair being much healthier and shinier.For all my curly/wavy hair people, I definitely recommend J Ross. Ive been going to J for a little over a year now and it has been the best decision! I always love how my hair comes out. Shes really helped me get my hair to a much healthier place. I have fine hair and its always been nerve wrecking for me to go to a hair stylist but she knows how to cut and style it. She also has been able to lighten my hair without damaging it. I cannot recommend her enough!

My first time going to J’s salon was a bit nerve recking given that I was cutting my very long hair into a pixie cut. From the second I met J she was very friendly, comforting, and easy to talk to. She understood my vision, and tailored a haircut I had seen her post on Instagram to my hair texture. It came out even better than I had expected! If you’ve ever thought about cutting your hair short, J is the perfect person to walk you through the process with ease and leave you with a beautiful cut. I have gone back for a trim since my first cut and had a great experience. J is very professional and personable which are key qualities to finding a good hairdresser, not to mention the cleanliness of her salon! I look forward to my next cut and would definitely recommend her for any cut/styling/coloring hair needs.

Jamie is a rockstar with color! I wanted a change to a fun color but wanted to keep it professional and easy to change once the color fades. She did not disappoint and came up with a great idea using more than one color so as it faded it blended with my natural hair. I cant wait to go back and refresh my color.

Jamie recently did my makeup for a wedding I attended as a guest. She is the most talented and detail oriented MUA I’ve been blessed to work with in a long time! (And I’ve had my makeup done by many great ones.) Not only does she know and love her craft, but she is absolutely passionate about bringing out each client’s beauty. She made me GLOW without over applying any product. I felt like a super model when she was done! And she listened to what I wanted, looked at the inspiration pics I sent her, and really delivered an amazing result. EVERYONE at the wedding complimented me on my hair and makeup (yes, she styles hair, too!) She’s a consummate professional, courteous, kind, and so extremely talented. I would and will book her again and recommend her to friends and family!! Thank you, Jamie!!

When I walked in the door of the salon I felt at home immediately. The owner cut my hair and I left extremely happy with the results. If I had to think of the best way to describe her, I would say she is an outstanding colorist. Awesome customer service. Jamie is talented and has an artistic flair for all things beauty - hair and make up. She can do it all. Both myself and my daughters go to her for color, cuts, highlights (I think the cool kids call is bayalage) and make up for special events. My daughter had a specific idea how her hair should look, J listened carefully, and delivered. We were both very happy with how her hair turned out. DD make up for her senior photos was perfect, just enough to show on camera with looking naturally beautiful. Highly recommend and follow her on her fun IG for her most recent work!!

Jamie literally revived my hair ! She gave me the cutest curly cut & im so happy with it! I decided to get bangs for the first time in years and she created this beautiful cut that I couldn’t have imagined. I love it so much. She’s also incredibly sweet & a good person.
