    After looking online and reading reviews I could not find a place that I was happy with. someone recommended Sutra and I have to say everyone there is amazing. Jaclyn was my stylist and she is amazing. I have not cut my hair in 4 years and I was torn on the cut and style I really wanted. I showed her a picture that I found and she cut my hair just like it. love this place and I cant wait to get a new look the next time i go in a month. prices are a little high but well worth it to know you are in good hands. thank you jaclyn I love my hair, and my husband loves it too.

    Trying to find a new salon (after moving to Jacksonville) was difficult to say the least! Reading review after review, I finally settled on Sutra and I am SO happy I did. My stylist is Jackie, and I feel like she listens to me, we discuss what I want and she gives me realistic expectations. Babs, is also fabulous- Ive watched her cut, color and style while getting my hair done. I trust Sutra with my tresses!!

    I had a really good experience my first time at Sutra Salon. I called earlier the same day and asked for a haircut appointment & was able to make an appointment that same day with Meghan. The environment is the Salon is very nice. Ive been to salons where all you can smell is chemicals. Not so here. The receptionist was very nice, and he offered me a beverage right from the start. I was then taken to the back & had my hair shampooed & conditioned (part of the service, I believe), and I then met Meghan. Shes a lovely lady who listened to what I wanted done and then trimmed my hair exactly like I wanted. This was my first time at this Salon. Im usually VERY hesitant to go somewhere new for my hair, but I was very happily surprised. I had read some very positive reviews about this salon on Google Reviews. Meghan was professional, and I felt comfortable in her capable hands. I had opted for just a wash & trim service (which came out to be $25 - without tip). I always air dry my hair, so I didnt want the blow-dry option that is offered. I really like that I didnt feel like they were pushing any of their other services on me.

    So my first time experience I had Jackie do my balayage. I had a wonderful first visit feeling comfortable and well accommodated. I wanted some adjustments to my hair after a few days with the color and she was more than welcome to let me come in and make changes. She transformed what I wanted into exactly what I wanted! Prices are very reasonable as well. Would highly recommend this salon :)

    When I found this salon over 5 years ago, I knew I had stumbled upon a excellent place! On first impression the salon is beautifully decorated, clean and up to date in technology and product. I am Asian American with very thick, long textured hair. I cannot BEGIN to tell you how many places I had gone and come out in tears because they could not handle my hair! My mom and I started seeing Babs and were so impressed we kept coming back. Her skill and friendly demeanor is above and beyond and she truly makes you feel like family. I began Erika a few years ago and she is clearly knowledgeable and applies new styles for me when Im looking for an update. She is very upbeat and a lovely person! Ive seen one of the other girls when I pathetically made an attempt at dying my hair purple underneath! YIKES! She did a great job fixing it and was super nice as well! I ALWAYS recommend this place when people compliment me and I still came here even when I lived in Orlando That REALLY how great this salon is!

    The entire staff made my first experience at a salon, AMAZING! Their customer service is the best in town and they’ve turned me into a long-time customer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional and highly skilled salon.Jackie did an amazing job on nailing the color I wanted and Dena did an amazing blow out!I will be back and referring friends!

    I called around 530pm (super late and last-minute) last Thursday and Carlos was able to squeeze me right in with Babs .. This was my first time ever going to this salon, and is now the *only* salon for me!The whole staff were so incredibly nice and made me feel right at home. Even though Babs was super booked up with an after-hours hair class to instruct, I was never once left unattended to..Bryan was a great assistant and did an awesome job washing my hair and with my complimentary exfoliating and paraffin hand treatments, Meghan started my highlights and was great, and then Babs took over to finish off my full-foil and gave me theee Best haircut Ive ever had! I hardly had to say anything when describing how I wanted the haircut to look, she and Meghan already knew exactly what I needed and I literally have never been so happy with the results! Theyre the only salon Ive been to where I havent had to go home and use the hair straightener or something in order to get the very modern look I desired.Definitely, definitely, definitely check out Sutra if you havent already. Theyre beyond amazing (and clearly I am now not only obsessed, but a client for life!) :)

    This salon will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your results. I will never go to another salon now.Long story short, I was not satisfied with my hair cut (the color was not exactly what I was expecting and my hair felt gritty). It was the first time Ive ever died my hair so I waited a month to see if it would grow on me. However, my hair was still feeling gritty. I called, over a month later, to explain my issues. I did not even know what to expect honestly. However, the owner (Carlos) went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. I went in again and had Erika (I believe that was her name - I loved her though). I had a long consultation with her to ensure she knew exactly what I wanted. In addition, she gave me a deep conditioning treatment to help the gritty feeling. At the end, my whole transaction ended up being free per the owner. Additionally, they let me switch out my products that I was not happy with either. I have never been more blown away with customer service before. I will definitely be coming back here. I am in love with my hair now and the gritty feeling is gone! Thank you, Carlos, for everything!

    I had been looking for a salon for coloring, cuts and extension information. My first visit with Caitlin was just amazing and much more than I expected. Complimentary hand waxing and wonderful massage while washing my hair are standard with each visit. She was on top of all of the new products and techniques and spent extra time with me showing me how to maintain a great look! As I am over middle age I was happy to get a great cut to make me look and feel much younger! And Yes I did check out another place close by but prices were much more affordable at Sutra for the same great quality. For all of the extras, I only paid a few dollars more than I did for just a cut and walk out wet at another salon. My friends were right in sending me here!

    Went to Sutra on my friend’s recommendation and first had consultation with Babs about color and cut. I felt confident in her expertise so I went back today for both. Babs did an amazing job. My color is better than I could have ever imagined and she actually listened to me about the length I wanted!! Babs and her colleagues were so professional and accommodating. Already made my follow up appt for December.This place is awesome!!!

    Carrie Fox has been styling my hair for almost three years now, and I have never been disappointed by her work. Shes extremely talented and professional, and now I have four other friends coming to her religiously as well. Shes amazing with whatever I want done, including highlights, lowlights, balayage, and any styling! All around I couldnt be happier with Carrie and Sutra as a whole, from the complimentary coffees/lattes, hand treatments, and great customer service! Ask for Carrie!

    Ive been traumatized of getting haircuts ever since I was young, and I think thats because Ive never really had a good experiences. The few good experiences I did have, I ended up walking out paying much more than what was originally told to me.But that all changed at Sutra Salon!! Jackie was my stylist and KILLED IT! While my task was pretty straight forward, just a trim and thinning my hair out, Jackie did exactly what I asked!After living in Jax for six years, I think Ive finally found my Haircut Home.

    I adore the staff at Sutra. Caitlin does my hair and I always walk out feeling like a million bucks. The salon itself is a great environment, the staff is professional and well educated, and theyre always stocked up on the best hair products. I highly recommend Sutra to anyone looking for a salon.

    I absolutely LOVE Sutra Salon! Took me a long time to find a hair salon that would not mess up my hair when I moved to Jax. Finally I came across Sutra and have been a devoted customer for quite a few years now. I look forward to getting my hair done every 3 months by Cameron (love her)! The whole staff, atmosphere, product line, and talent exceeded my expectations. Thank you Sutra!

    Jackeline is amazing. She is patient and understanding. Does exactly what you ask for. Went to her a couple of months ago for a cut and blow dry and left 💯 % satisfied, so I decided to try her for the color and she need nailed it. I highly recommend her. When I called to schedule the color, the receptionist was really nice and helpful too. I really like this place👍🏼

    Carrie Fox has been styling my hair for years. She is highly skilled in her profession and I wouldnt trust my color and style with anyone else. Bonus--sitting in her chair for a couple hours is the best therapy ever!

    The atmosphere is splendid...The girls are of pure talent and have great people and personable skills. It feels like walking into a friends house to get a makeover, just just another person entering a salon to get a haircut. I truly love it! Thanks Erika for giving me such a wonderful experience when i come to visit. Love you gals!!!

    Erika is a wonderful colorist and hairdresser. Im growing out my silver hair and she added highlights and lowlights to blend it in. I love it and get lots of compliments.Great atmosphere in the salon, have a nice latte or glass of wine, wax treatment for hands, and feel pampered.

    Dena did an excellent highlight & cut on my very fine hair! The highlights are the most beautiful I have ever had done. I have been to many great salons in California where I am originally from. This was the best of all! Thank you Dena😁

    I love this place. The owner, Babs & her stylists really know their stuff. Ive never had a bad haircut from Sutra. If you want great hair, they can do it, just be prepared to pay for it. I was admittingly caught off guard when my bayalage & cut (that I adore!) were around $350.

    BEST SALON!! I have been going to Babs for a couple of years now and LOVE her! She does a perfect job every time. All of the staff is very friendly and no matter who does your hair you will leave looking your very best! Many of my friends and family go there and are happy every time!! I highly recommend Babs! Best of the best work there!

    Best salon in Jacksonville and totally worth the drive if you are not at the beaches.Ive been going to Babs for 2 years now and I have to say she is the best colorist I have ever been to. She can be tough to get into so I would recommend calling at least 2 days notice - and even if she is booked she usually can find a way to get you in. She is so dedicated to making you feel like a million bucks when you walk out of the salon.sutra has always been a beautiful salon inside but wow- the updates they just added make the place incredibly beautiful and cool. It reminds me a lot of a chic salon you would find in NYC or BRooklyn.

    I am absolutely blown away with how welcoming and talented the employees here are. Isabella gave me a free consultation, color and cut and I have never looked better. They are reasonably prices and very friendly. Highly recommend and will only be going here from now on.

    Carrie Fox always does a great job and I often have people come up to me and say wow you must pay thousands of dollars to get you hair to look that good and I just wink and say.. try thirties of dollars! I also like how Brian or someone at the counter always offers me a cold beverage of choice as I enter after a long day of work.. or at 10am!;) Thumbs up all around.

    I was referred to Sutra by a few friends who stated they love this place!!! I wanted to get my hair cut pretty quickly (within 4 days of my first contact with Sutra) as I didnt want to wait any longer (It was my FIRST haircut..ever! If I waited any longer, Id probably change my mind again!!) Cameron over at Sutra tried her best to accomodate me and I really appreciate her determination to squeeze me in! She spent quite a bit of time trying to work it out. While they were unable to accomodate me, the customer service they have with someone who isnt even a customer yet was stellar. I will be going there at some point in the future and will refer them out. Way to go Sutra!
