    Laurie is fantastic. She’s been doing my hair for several years now-haircut and highlights. When I first came to her she rescued me from a really bad haircut and made it work, cute even. She’s fun, she listens and she makes sure you get the look you want. She’s skilled at helping me manage the cut and products for my fine blonde hair to maximize volume and growth. My highlights look so natural and beautiful. Laurie provides great service and she’s reasonably priced. I never hesitant to recommend Blue Violet Salon.

    Laurie is incredible! The ultimate professional. My hair has never looked better. I get compliments all the time on the color and cut. I have 4 close family / friends that now go to Laurie after hearing me rave about her amazing talent. Laurie also did my hair and makeup for my wedding and did phenomenal. Totally recommend.

    Hello! Laurie has been cutting, coloring, and styling my hair for about 3 years now and I could not be happier with the results. Laurie is always very friendly and kind to me and anyone I bring with me to my appointments. She also listens to all my ideas id like to do to my hair and makes recommendations on how to achieve any look with also keeping the integrity of my hair in mind. I always leave her chair happy and I get so many compliments on how great my hair looks thanks to her. Id recommend her to anyone.

    If you are looking for a stylist and color expert who knows what you need and will help you achieve perfection with your hair, Laurie is your girl. I was lucky enough to be referred to her by a friend and when I say lucky, I mean it. Best referral I have ever had! She has transformed my hair. Laurie has been doing hair and color for years and knows her stuff. Most of her clients have been with her forever! That speaks volumes. If you want your hair to look it’s best, you need to call her quick. She books out and for good reason! Her skills are worth the wait. I promise you will not be disappointed.     I have long full hair and I love it being long, so I’ve kept it long for many years but it was too much hair for my petite body. Of course it always looked great when I left my previous salon but I wasn’t able to keep it looking like less volume. Laurie was recommended to me and I found her very attentive. She asked questions and really discussed with me what out come I wanted and then she went to WORK! She shaped and styles and thinned and angled until there was this whole layered look that shaped my face and thinned out the poof and volume! I love it! My friends say it takes 10 years off me. Who doesn’t want to hear that? I’ve had 3 appointments with Laurie and each one just as great or better than the last. I always left feeling beautiful ! I’m not sure I’ve ever written a google review but I want to share this information because we all know a Good Stylist is a gem! Right? Laurie is not only a lovely person but a wonderful master stylist.

    Ive been going to Laurie for 2 years now, and shes simply the best. She spends time listening to what you want and your past experiences and helps you get the look you want. She gets feedback every time you go to make sure youre getting what you want.Any time Ive tried to go blond in the past, its always ended up brassy or too bright, and fried my hair after a while. Not only has she kept the dirty blond tone exactly where I like it for years, but also my hair is never damaged. Plus, she is the fastest foiler Ive ever seen - no being stuck at the salon for 4 hours!I have a lot of medium-fine hair, and had been rarely happy with a cut. Laurie nails it every time - long hair, bobs, bangs, side parts. You just cant beat her experience and how much she cares.

    Laurie Owen, owner of Blue Violet Salon and Spa is just AMAZING! Everyone knows how hard it is finding a new hairdresser and I was having such a hard time after moving to Orlando. Then I was blessed with the hair fairies and I found Laurie! She was able to correct some really bad mistakes that had happened while trying to find the perfect colorist and hairdresser, and yay, Laurie is just great. Color, cuts and she is so funny.

    Laurie is fantastic! She was able to remove my old extensions and put in new ones. She also colored my roots. After she finished my extensions she cut and styled my hair. Laurie is honest and will tell you what your hair needs to be healthy! She takes the time with each client to understand their needs and advises or provides a map for the customer to get there. Laurie is a very professional master stylist. She is excellent in her skills and trade. She is a wizard with her scissors! Customers need to understand that she is consulting with you so you will look your best! Trust her!

    Laurie has a gift for HAIR! She has been cutting my hair for over 13 years and I wouldnt allow anyone else to cut my hair, as everyday is a good hair day :)She is not only a gifted stylist, but my friend. I moved from the Orlando area 8 years ago and I still make the drive to Lake Mary for her services! I have referred people to her time and time again, and they too make the drive....she is worth it!! I will follow her where ever she may go!

    Laurie is amazing. She took me in when my hair stylist couldn’t - and she did a great job. She knew exactly the colors I wanted in my hair (I get both low and high-lights) and did exactly what I wanted. She also did an amazing job on my daughter’s hair extensions -matching them perfectly to her hair color. Laurie is passionate about what she does -an expert in her field and goes above and beyond to make the client happy. Her salon is immaculate and right in Lake Mary proper.
