I’ve been coming her for years , and I now bring both my daughters. Our hair is healthy from coming here , they really do care about your hair no matter the texture. I usually go to Clara and my girls go to Tamara & Rosa, sometimes there is a little wait even with an appointment but you do get out in a reasonable time. The owner is so nice , and always makes sure everyone is good and the clients leave happy !

I was referred by a friend. I made my appointment for Hair Botox. The staff was very friendly and professional. Tamara was my Stylist very professional and patient. She provided additional education tips on hair care.When you go to NY Dominican Hair Salon youre treated like if youre family, not a stranger.Kudos to the staff and owner!!!!!!

Great Service. Anytime I Call They Get Me Right In . Service is bout a hour and a half top! I go to Estralle She’s Sweet ,Loving, and Great With Time . Hair Cuts Are Only 10$ more.. Prices are Great From 50/$70 in all for a wash blow dry and Straighten Try Them Out You Won’t regret it 10/10

I got Wendy, and she was honestly so sweet and my hair came out great. Out of all the times I’ve been here before she honestly was the best, never judged or anything. Definitely only booking her from now on.However, I booked an appointment for my mom to get her nails done with another lady. And then she didn’t show up and they waited 30 mins before telling my mom that they had no idea when the lady was coming and that “next time we need to book by call and not online”. I love the salon but honestly please don’t waste our time and this appointment was booked a week in advanced so they can see it in the computer, like come on now.

Book with Isabella or Stella!!! I LOVE my hair!!!! It wasn’t easy because I had two different colors, dark brown and dark red. Isabella transformed my hair to a golden blonde and didn’t damage it!!! I will be back!!! :)

My first time at the salon and I am absolutely in love with the outcome of my hair! Wendy G, did such an amazing job, she highlighted, toned, cut and styled my hair, yes I got the works, and She took her time and knew exactly what I needed. She made me feel like a queen! She has the hands of an angel! truly worked her magic on my hair, The staff was awesome, great atmosphere. I am definitely going back! And recommend this place to everyone!

Love! Best Dominican salon in the area. Lety was my stylist. She did an amazing job. My hair feels really smooth. Although my hair is natural she was still able to achieve the look I wanted. The customer service in this salon is impressive. Everyone is pleasant to deal with and I love how they offer coffee. I highly recommend this salon. If you are in the area you should totally stop by!

Loved my experience!! The owner Janet was awesome from the moment I called in. I told her what I needed and also explained the texture of my hair. I called at 9:30am and asked if I needed an appointment, she told me No. I was shocked. I walked in and was seated immediately in the shampoo bowl. Letty was my stylist and she was quick and also responsive to my scalp tenderness. I paid $40 for a wash, treatment, blow dry, flat iron and trim. Very pretty and clean salon! I will be revisiting.

Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff; great atmosphere. This was my first visit to this salon. I’d booked an appointment online and picked a random stylist. I truly appreciated her honestly, once I got there, informing me that the haircut I wanted wasn’t in her comfort zone. She quickly brought Estela over, the expert in my kind of cut, and we all agreed to the switch. She knew what she was doing, took her time to make sure everything was to my liking and I am very happy with the results!! Will definitely be going back 😄

Recently moved to the Treasure Coast from NYC and have been looking for a traditional NYC Dominican Salon. This fulfilled all my needs. Ive been a handful of times now & my daughter with 4C hair even had a keratin treatment done, she couldnt be happier with the results. We have been going to Amarilis and she is super sweet but besides that does a wonderful job. Our hair looks great for a long time. I would recommend this place as I have already to a few ppl who have asked about my hair. And they have a cute photo booth for after youre done with your beautiful transformation.

I went in for a hair color and a new look. I was taken care of by Jonathan. Jonathan was super honest through the entire process. He first did a trail on a piece of hair to see if my hair would actually take what I wanted. After the trail he let me know we could proceed and that maybe on the first run it would not be exactly what I expected but eventually we would get there. At the end of the entire process I was extremely satisfied with the end results it was exactly was I was looking for. Even now that I am wearing my natural curls I am still 100 percent satisfied with Jonathan’s job. I will definitely be back.

I love this place! Theresa does the most beautiful shades of blond. She is quick, attention to detail, takes the time to listen & make sure your getting the shade you desire, which for me is not easy. I am a level 5 & I pull orange shades when going blond. No problem, Theresa has got me covered! She definitely knows how to cancel out those warm tones. The entire staff is always friendly & very helpful! I love this place & will continue to get my hair done there as will my mother too!

BEST salon I have ever been too! Staff are all professional and friendly. Salon was very nice, big and very clean. I went in there with my long damaged hair (my hair kept falling out due to my last pregnancy) and I have not cut it since I had my son (3years ago). They knew exactly what to do as far a giving me the right hair cut and the perfect treatment to stop my hair lost. I know it’s too early to tell because I need to give my treatment time BUT my hair feels so heathy already and I LOVE my new cut. I recommend this salon to anyone.

I had no appointment but they squeezed me in on a super busy Saturday . My stylist was Wendy and she was great! I came in with brittle pad rough hair and she worked her magic, straighten and cut my hair beautifully. She also recommended I come back for a Keratin treatment to soften my hair, definitely would recommend this place and definitely would recommend Wendy!

I was referred here by a friend and decided to make an appointment with Wendy. I was so nervous because I had dark hair (red and black dye from past color) and wanted to go light. I started with partial highlights and my hair lifted nicer than I thought. Wendy took her time and is so sweet! She is passionate about what she does, honest/professional, and she knows how to keep the integrity of your hair! I went back a week later to do full highlights and my hair lifted nicely again but some parts need more lifting as my hair was really dark. I will return for a more ashier/toned blonde, but giving my hair a rest. Wendy also gives amazing layered haircuts and blow outs! I love her and can’t wait to go back!

Took me 3 years to find a salon that made me feel like I was back in New Jersey and a stylist that can handle my Latina hair without damaging it . Leticia is a god send! If you want your keratin treatment done right go to her! Second time returning to her and I will be back.Ps. She takes her time . This is a stylist who cares about your hair and the service you get . She doesn’t just rush through to get more clients . She truly cares about her work! I went at 530 last night after work and we were there until after 8 and she didn’t complain once. She was happy to do my hair. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Let me start by saying that Estela and Jackie are amazing. They were so kind and welcoming. Estela cut my hair and I loved it! They could def use a new receptionist though. When I originally called to try and make an appointment with Jackie I was told that I had to come in and then she can decide if she wants to cut my hair. She could’ve just told me that Jackie doesn’t cut hair and offered to make an appointment with someone else. I was turned off to be honest and wasn’t going to go in but I really needed a haircut. I walked in and I was barely acknowledged because the receptionist was on her phone. When it came time to pay, I had to wait a while for her to come out to the front desk. I asked if she could give me change for a $20 and it was just a solid “no”. So I’m assuming this is a credit card only place? But that doesn’t make sense. Customer service starts as soon as you walk through the door. The person in the front needs to be a people person and nice. That’s not the vibe you get when you walk in. Without the attitude, this place gets 5 stars.

This was my first time at the salon and it was a great experience. I have 4c hair and Maria washed and did a blow out with a trim. There was no pain and I’m extremely tender headed. Maria did a great job my hair lasted 3 days which is longer then when I went to other places. Being natural I didn’t expect it to last a day so I will definitely be back to visit Maria.

Wendy R. Has done my hair now twice and both haircuts were “cutting edge” amazing! She has such precision, is professional and ensures the haircut and color she creates make you feel like a million bucks when you leave the salon. This salon also has tremendous customer service. They are professional and the haircuts and color are top notch. I highly recommend booking a cut or color with Wendy R. She spends time ensuring the angles are perfect and blows out and irons the hair until it’s perfection. I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my hair as i have since i started using Wendy R as my stylist :)

This was my second time at this salon and I have nothing but good things to say. My hair is in bad condition and Dayanara did my relaxer and she was very professional and careful with my hair. I arrived earlier than I had scheduled my appointment and she was kind enough to take me as soon as I walked in. Im a very self-conscious person so I really dont trust people or stylist beauticians anybody to do my hair so this was my first time going there and anybody who wants to know how they were it was wonderful when I went there! They scrubbed my hair and not only that they asked me if I wanted coffee if I needed anything they actually took their time with my hair and I had my hair washed and blown out and I love the results I got and I just got it done as of Friday Nov 17th so as far as Im concerned,anyone who is skeptical about this , they are wonderful and they will take their time and doing your hair.. Just make sure that you make an appointment; You can walk in also but I made my appointment a couple days in advance and they will make sure that they even have that in the system you will love it there I loved it when I went and I will be returning as soon as I need my hair done again. Thank you to all the ladies that did my hair I do appreciate it.

A lot of salons try to put NY in their name so that people believe they are legit and good at doing hair, but not all of them deserve to rep NY. HOWEVER... being from NY and knowing what quality hair looks and feels like, I highly recommend this place. My stylist took her time, the WHOLE way through, and I ended up with beautiful results. If you have doubts about getting your hair done here... dont. Just go.

Stylist: MariaServices: Keratin TreatmentThis was my first time coming to this salon. I wasn’t referred and had no clue it existed. This place has the best reviews and I went through EACH AND EVERY review just to analyze what people said.Im always anxious and cautious when coming to a stylist because I’ve been traumatized before. The stylist also never listened to me. My hair would be in some crazy origami fashion. I hated it and swore off salons for the past 17 years.My other Dominican hair stylist didn’t do keratin treatments. And I had to go to someone else 40 min. from her. So I was looking around.When I came in I was greeted and informed the front desk I had an appt with Maria at 0900. I was greeted by Maria and told her I was here for a keratin treatment, blow out and trim. She took me back to wash my hair a couple times to clarify it. Then proceeded to apply the chocolate keratin treatment. The process was relaxing. The chocolate smell was 😋. After she applied it, she had me sit under the dryer. This part sucked because of the fumes from the keratin. They’re not fun, but totally worth the end results. I was dying a little with watery eyes and a burning nose, but was also very familiar with keratin treatments and the fumes. Though not all keratin treatments are the same, I like the ones that get my hair bone straight. Maria asked if I wanted to come out, and I told her “no.” She then quickly got me a cool, wet washcloth to cover my face and had the fan on me. It was amazing because I had a keratin treatment 3 months ago at a different place and the process was totally different. The whole salon was burning with fumes. With Maria, no one was coughing or gagging or running out the salon, and there were even kids present. Maria was bringing coffee around for everyone and it was delicious!She got me up and proceeded to blow dry my hair and then flat ironed it to seal in the keratin. She also applied heat protectant. During the process she showed me what she was doing and how my hair was coming along.Ok, now that I’ve explained what happened on the day of my appointment, I can go off on a tangent. The salon has a very homey appeal. From the music to the different ladies coming and going. The place was packed for a Saturday morning. I met Jackie, the owner, who was very kind and very professional. She looked like a business woman on a role!Maria is a complete God send. Not just her technique in caring for my hair, but she showed me where I had damage from the baylage I had before. She told me to stop bleaching my hair because she wanted my hair to grow. She also told me to keep up with my treatments if I wanted my hair to grow. I love this! A stylist that cares about her clients and the health of their hair, not just someone doing hair really nice to to make a quick buck. Maria knows about her keratin treatments! I asked her a bunch of questions comparing her technique to the lady who previously did mine and I was impressed.My keratin treatment from 3 months ago was wearing off and I was flat ironing and blow drying my hair almost daily. My roots were super curly and my ends were dead straight. It looked like a bad perm! I’m falling in love with keratin treatments, but I also want long, healthy hair. I previously had my hair cut into a bob. Before that my hair was less than 2 inches about 2 years ago. I told Maria this and she went right to work. I go in another week to see her again for rolos and a treatment for my keratin treated hair. Didn’t ask for it. It was recommended!! 😌😌😌A complete God send, thank you so much Maria. You have a new repeat client. It wasn’t just your skills and how you cared for my hair, but your homey appeal and how you made me feel so safe and comfortable while caring care of my tresses.I’m not an expert on keratin treatments, so I’m so happy I have someone who is and shows me how to care for newly keratin treated hair.Can’t stop touching my hair. I really appreciate the fact that her English is so well as my Spanish isn’t. 😂👌🏾 She also got on me about using heat and damaging my hair. She made me pinky promise that this would be the LAST TIME I put Relaxer in my hair as I have a beautiful texture. 🥰I shall be back!! I got a haircut at another salon who did not give me the cut I asked for. I was very unhappy with my hair and a friend recommended me to NY Dominican Salon. Yoanis cut my hair and did an amazing job! Made an appointment online, when she came back after a little bit over an hour. Her hair was gorgeous. She had also told them that her moms coming over. After my hair was wash & blow All I have to say Splendid*******. The owner was super nice. Suggested what shampoo to use for the color not to loose its shine. Well I purchase it & use it. Im honestly surprised by all the bad reviews, me and my daughter come here for our blowouts and trims and we are both natural and we havent experienced any of these things, and weve seen a few stylist in there, blow outs lasted longer than any where Ive been and our natural hair always went back into its natural state. Just a tip, dont add any more products and do not flat iron everyday. Just wrap it up good before bed..and when washing back to natural state has alot to do with products used as well. They have products for us natural ladies not only to protect against heat but repair from it. Im just saying. Hope this helps.

Highly Recommend! I was looking for a Dominican Blow out in the area for Dinner Plans I had. Elizabeth was my hair dresser, she was amazing and blow dried my long hair within 30minutes. There was a Luau theme on this particular Friday and they gave all the client Pina Coladas. Such a fun environment, Elizabeth did an amazing job and the cost was unbeatable. I normally pay 3x the cost at other salons due to the length of my hair. Definitely worth coming here if you are in the area.
