Family Practice of Suntree and Viera has been my GP since 2020/Covid when my former GP closed her practice. My early visits were all virtual, and then as things gradually returned to normal, I began in-person visits. Through it all, Family Practice of Suntree and Viera has been a reliable and responsive provider of care.

When you find a doctor you tend to stick with them. There is no way I’m going to anyone else. PA Keela Stanley is one of a kind. I have never been nervous to tell her anything. She puts you at ease immediately. She listens and actually follows through. She remembers things about you. You are more than just another number or money in her pocket. The love and dedication she puts into her work is evident. Now for the staff… best team of people I have ever seen in a doctors office. You need something done you don’t need to ask twice, it’s done before you blink. I’ve enjoyed every interaction with every employee there. I must brag on Olivia though. If I understand correctly she has only been there for a year but you would like she has been doing this all her life. Her kindness, bedside manner and knowledge is top tier. If you are looking for a sign of the right office to chose, THIS IS IT!

Its hard to find a physician these days that doesnt make it standard to order all types of lab tests whether one needs it or not. Dr. Ditz is one of those rare doctors. He takes his time with patients and explains everything well. He treats what you really need addressed instead of trying to sell you on unnecessary things. I am fortunate to have come across Dr. Ditz to be my physician. Hes one of very few doctors in the area that offers the Bio-Identical Hormone pellet treatment, which is better than the usual shots. If youre looking for an excellent physician who will treat the underlying cause of your issues instead of just the symptoms, be sure to consider to Dr. Ditz!

Love Dr. Ditz and Gilbert. Office staff very courteous.However I don’t feel the office is very professional in their tasks. Many times they have had to be called and reminded to send referrals or prescriptions. I don’t feel that the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Staff needs to work together better.

I forgot to schedule an appointment with my regular OBGYN doctor and now she is booked to Jan. 2023 - I asked Dr. Ditz about another OBGYN doctor and to my surprise he told me that his female PA does Papsmear checks and I was able to schedule an appointment within 2 weeks. I wanted to do a minor treatment in the face, but Dr. Ditz explained why it is not a good idea instead of just doing the procedure and taking the money.

God Bless Dr. Frank Ditz! This wonderful and caring doctor stepped up in my time of need and kept me from experiencing permanent damage to my health and likely even saved my life. After being diagnosed with COVID-19, my longtime Health First doctor (Dr. Kiron Malhotra) absolutely REFUSED to treat me in any way and even refused to have a video or telephonic consultation with me, and only told me to go to the emergency room if I need medical assistance. So, I went to the Emergency Room at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne (I have a Health First Insurance Plan) for treatment. I could barely breathe. I was weak. I was so very sick. And that ER treated me so terribly and did nothing more than take a chest X-Ray and send me on my way. Nothing more! They refused to give me any water, even though Id been there for hours. I was cold because I had a fever and asked for a blanket, and they essentially tossed it on my bed from the door and left. I did my best, but I was too weak to unfold it and fully cover myself. Then when it was time to be discharged, after being there for hours without any meaningful treatment, I was told to get dressed and go. They didnt even offer to wheelchair me out or even an escort through the ER labyrinth to the exit. I was so weak that I had to be wheelchaired INTO the ER and back to the ER room, yet I had to ask for someone to wheelchair me to the exit. The treatment I received at HRMCs ER was just awful. The next day I reached out again to Dr. Malhotras office and I told them that the ER did nothing and asked if the doctor would at least talk to me. I was told no, and that if I needed medical assistance that the only options available was to go to the ER. After the nightmare of the last ER visit there was no way I would go back there. I was so desperate for help. I was taking a prescription medication that was prescribed by the Urgent Care the day I was diagnosed (powerful steroids) that was causing my blood sugar to go into the 400s. I didnt know what to do and my doctor was refusing to help me. Thats when I turned to my friends on Facebook and posted the post in the photo. Well, that post garnered quite a bit of attention, including the attention of Dr. Frank Ditz, who by the way is NOT a Health First doctor. This doctor who didnt even know me reached out to me and offered to take care of me and my fiance, who also was sick with COVID, until we were fully healed and WITHOUT CHARGING US A DIME! And that is just what he did! I owe him so much for taking care of me and being there when my own doctor abandoned me - its been over a month since I reported to my own doctor my diagnosis and she has never once to this day called to check on me or to see if I even survived - PATHETIC! Without a moments hesitation, i highly, HIGHLY, recommend Dr. Ditz - he is a wonderful and caring doctor - a rare combination these days indeed!
