    I cannot recommend Certified Cosmetics enough. Dr. Gaitan and Marly are both amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and focused on providing a positive experience to patients. I especially appreciate the amount of time they dedicate to educating and walking you through what you have and why theyā€™ve chosen the specific treatment for you. This is the first doctor I have ever been to that has ever spent time genuinely answering all of my questions without rushing.

    I was looking a place to get some tag skins removed. Obviously I checked Google Maps and I found this place that I highly recommend. They accommodate my appointment in 2 days, Dr Gaitan removed all my skin tags and extra small angiomas that I didnt like... I am so happy... I will be back for more skin treatments...     First visit with Dr. Gaitan for dandruff and hair loss. Booking online was so easy using their system. We booked the night before for an appointment the next morning. Marly- the super sweet RN- greeted and checked us in. 0 wait time, super easy check in process, and very clean office. Marly did the intake and then Dr Gaitan came in to evaluate. He took his time analyzing, discussing, and explaining everything we needed to know, making sure to address all the details. We left with no questions as he answered everything and gave us a clear plan. We are super grateful for his care, he does not take insurance so we paid out of pocket but it is 100% worthwhile!

    Excellent Dermatologist. He examines you; no PA involved!Very meticulous in his inspections of your skin. He explains as he examines you. His focus is on your health, not your cosmetics. If he says a mole may be cancerous, remove it fast! The biopsies and wart removals are near painless to me.I have no complaints. I am 71 and have seen many Dermatologists. I consider him the best and highly recommend.

    I need to be honest and say that I visited Dr. Gaitan due to a rash in my skin that I had previously suffered and dealt with different diagnoses, just because it was the nearest dermatologist that could see me right away. But as soon as he saw it he knew what it was and started the correct treatment. He was very gentle, patient and assuring as well as his assistant, making you feel at home from the moment you come in the office.     I truly believe Dr. Gaitan and Marly run the best dermatology clinic in Miami. They treat every patient individually and treat their needs thoroughly based on their condition. He is a laser specialist with a bunch of different machines and he really knows about them to the core. I was treated with the laserglow treatment. Instantly the next day I noticed a reduction of pore size, my ance scars which I suffered from for a long long time were almost unnoticeable, and there was an instant glowing effect with a reduction of pigmentation all throughout my face. I was initially hesitant about getting laser as it was my first time and Iā€™ve heard of its down time and after effects but with his there was little to no pain and no downtime, with just subtle redness the next day.Definitely worth it, I would highly recommend, and definitely going again soon!

    Dr. Gaitan is an excellent doctor. After seeing three different, well known dermatologists for a lesion on my nose, Dr. Gaitan immediately knew what the problem was and treated it in one session. Two visits and one procedure, and my lesion is cured and gone.     Dr. Sergio Gaitan and his wife are amazing! Very nice people. They are very attentive to any concerns you have. I received Botox for the forehead and crows feet. Dr. Gaitan is an artist and I very much liked that he takes into account the muscle structure of the face, even after the shots wear off. I also had some melasma concerns that are now subsiding thanks to them. I recommend anyone going to them.

    I am so happy with my results. I had 6 laser treatments for skin tightening and now my skin is more hydrated. It got rid of hyperpigmentation, and now my skin is more radiant.     Initially, I was really unsure whether to keep trying to get rid of some stubborn facial sunspots, especially after a few disappointing rounds with different dermatologists. But then, I decided to give it one more shot and decided to see Dr. Gaitan. From the get-go, the vibe was different, and after chatting with Dr. Gaitan, I was convinced to try out the laser treatment for my sunspots, and while I was at it, tackle my hair loss as well.To my sheer amazement, the sunspot just disappeared after the very first laser session!     I have been a patient of Dr. Gaitanā€™s for many years and will continue to be a patient for many years to come. Even now, when I live half-way across the world in South Korea, I still continue to be his patient.I started struggling with my skin during college. I remember feeling so desperate and hopeless every time I looked in the mirror. My skin had gotten so bad it started to take a toll on my mental health. I hated taking pictures, I was constantly comparing my skin to othersā€™ , and stepping out of my house would put me in a state of near panic (it didnā€™t help that on top of dealing with my own self-hatred I was also subject to other peopleā€™s ā€œhelpfulā€ comments). I was bouncing back and forth between dermatologists for months (two of which wanted to immediately put me on Accutane despite my discomfort with the idea) but nothing was helping, nothing was working. There would be a slight improvement only for my skin to snap right back to its reddish, brownish, blotchy, bumpy glory. It wasnā€™t until I started seeing Dr. Gaitan that my skin started to actually heal and improve without snapping back; he was helping my skin for the long-term. Dr. Gaitan is one of the only doctors to have taken the time to sit with me, properly look at my skin, and to talk me through it. He didnā€™t just jump to give me a ā€œquick cureā€ (lookin at you Accutane) and he didnā€™t rush to get me out of the office, he wanted to be sure I understood what was going on with my skin and what the treatment would be. Dr. Gaitan took a good look at my skin, explained what he saw, and then explained the plan he wanted me to follow; he talked me through everything step-by-step (something no other doctor has done for me). Now, years later, not only has my skin improved but Iā€™ve also learned a lot about my skin and how to properly take care of it.To make a long story short: best dermatologist ever! I seriously cant recommend him enough to anybody and everybody.

    I found Dr. Gaitan in May when he opened his office. I was delighted with the attention, professionalism and availability that the doctor always gives me. He has helped me resolve several conditions successfully. I love that when I call he is very accessible and is always very friendly. And his wife, the nurse, make a very good and efficient team. I am very happy to have an excellent dermatologist in West Kendall. What I love most is the people skills of Dr. Gaitan and his wife and how they practice medicine as it should be. And I say this because I am in the health field.I found Dr. Gaitan in May when he opened his office in May. I am extremely happy with the attention, professionalism, and the availability that the doctor always offers. He has helped me resolve several skin conditions. I love that when I call I am able to easily reach the office and they are always polite and kind. Him and his wife, the office nurse, make a great team. I am so happy to have a great dermatologist here in West Kendall. What I love the most is that him and his wife have excellent bedside manner how it should be in medicine. And I can say this with confidence because I am in the health field.

    This is the second time I have had plasma injections for my hair loss with Dr. Gaitan. The first time was 4 years ago and it went very well. I just finished the second series of 3 plasma treatments and I am very happy with the results. Once again my hair has new growth, it is thicker, healthier and longer.If you have hair loss. I recommend it because it has given me excellent results.
