I have been using Wendy at Skin Associates for the last couple of years. My treatments have included hydrating facial, dermaplaning, and microneedling.Wendy is incredibly professional and a knowledgeable Aesthetician taking the time to assess my skin and recommend the best course of action. During the treatments, she explained each step thoroughly, which made me feel comfortable and informed.My results have been fantastic! Leaving my skin rejuvenated, smoother, and with a noticeable glow. I dont have enough words to describe how amazing this office is. Having had bad experiences growing up with dermatologists offices that wrote off my acne as a teenager and recommended that I just wash my face, I wasnt excited to have my post acne scars analyzed and written off yet again.I took a chance on this office after a lot of research and finding out how well trained these doctors are. Its not just another skin clinic, but one that participates in research and outreach. As someone who does their own research for their profession, it makes me trust doctors that dont just want to make you confident in your own skin but really make a difference overall.From the moment you walk into the office, you are greeted by the warmest staff receive you from the receptionist desk at check-in to the staff that take you to your treatment room. no matter how busy it is, they never let it show. Well before you meet the doctors, you feel right at home. There is no pressure to do anything - no shock value to whatever skin you present to them. They truly take their time to look at your skin, prescribe a treatment regimen that actually works and arent afraid to give you realistic expectations.I have had three treatments done at the facility before I even decided to review it. From my facial with Wendy, my consultation and Genus RF microneedling appointment with Dr. Golomb and finally my Fraxel laser session with Dr. Forouzandeh, each experience provided me with knowledge, answered questions, calmed fear and anxiety and glowing skin. Everyone in the office is not only warm but absolutely beautiful inside and out!It finally feels like I have found an office out of the many in Miami that truly cares to make a difference in my skin, and that carries over to how I present myself to the world. It seems dramatic to say unless youve experienced how skin riddled with acne or scars changes peoples first impression of you.Im so excited to see where this office can take my skin because I finally have doctors that I can trust, an office I am not scared to visit and hope in achieving great skin in this lifetime.

Skin associates of South Florida is undoubtably the best doctors office I have ever visited. I have been going here for over 10 years and have referred so many people.Dr. O’Connell was the first person to cure my adult acne in a few weeks, something I had struggled with for over 15 years and I had seen so many dermatologists. Yesterday I visited Dr. Abrouk (Dr O’Connell no longer excepts my insurance) and he is just as amazing. I had a horrible rash on my chin and as usual the prescriptions I was given from this office have shown a drastic improvement in less than 24 hours. The doctors truly care and they always take the time to make you feel better about the situation.I am 40 and I never dreamed my skin would look so amazing. I get compliments from strangers.Not only do they nail the diagnosis each time, the staff is all helpful and efficient. I have never waited in the lobby or in the room longer than 10 min (usually it’s 5 min or less).This derm office has truly changed my life and I am forever greatful. Thank you Dr. O’Connell and Dr Abrouk.

I recently had the most thorough skin cancer check Ive ever experienced with Dr laura kruter. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was friendly and kind, making me feel welcome and at ease. The doctor was unbelievable and extremely thorough and attentive. I left feeling confident in the care I received. Highly recommend!

I always feel well taken care of and professionally treated at Skin Associates. They don’t make you wait long like at many medical offices. Dr Kruter, Dr Kaufman, Dr Green and all of their colleagues are kind and good at what they do. Plus, the office is right across the street from the Shops at Merrick Parkw - super convenient.

Had the most amazing experience seeing Dr. Abrouk. Hes the go to for all things cosmetic dermatology.Did my friends lips which looked super natural, consulted me on eczema where he took me through various regimens and creams discussing all the pros and cons, and lastly a trusculpt procedure which was the equivelant to 30,000 sit-ups. My body is feeling super tight.Love the clinic and their multitude of treatments, & feel like they have a fix for everything. The doc is super patient and will take the time to explain everything in detail with the most amazing staff as support.

Dr. Michael Abrouk was absolutely amazing! Not only was my visit super quick (super!) but he educated me on what was going on and offered a quick solution! Not to mention how kind and professional he was! The office being as beautiful as it is, is an added perk! This momma of a 2 year old is so glad as its so hard to navigate waiting or extensive appointments with little ones, this office made it painless! :)

Honestly one of the best doctor’s appointments i’ve ever had.i was in for a full body scan, and i was checked in, had a brief intake, seen by the doctor, and out in 19 minutes. dr abrouk was perhaps one of the most pleasant people i’ve met in a long time.would be happy to go back.

Being someone whose appearance is my career, Im very picky with who I choose to do any medical aesthetics procedures with. I appreciate a light hand and subtle maintenance to my appearance rather than following any trends that may be out there. Doctor OConnell also understands these values. Hes very smart and kind and when youre in his office, he gives you 100% of his attention!Hes never rushed and takes the time to educate you, as well as relax and reassure you, and is always open to hear questions or concerns from his patients. Im so glad I trust my face to Dr. OConnell and his team exclusively!

Sometimes, your best friend has bad advice (you should get bangs). Sometimes, they tell you theyve been going to this practice and you should, too. That was eight (nine?) years ago. I havent left. Its Hotel California (no champagne, though, sigh.) Over the years, I revolve door around to all the MDs because they are ALL stellar. The office is run with Swiss efficiency. Dr. Green is the most charming AND brilliant human -- he also saved my dad from a malignancy (my entire family and professional client roster goes to this practice now as a result of my love for them...) and polished my skin before my wedding to be as dewy as a pillow. Dr. Dosal is a sweet gem and saved me from spending the GDP of a small nation on products (how many derms are NOT thieves who force you into sales??) and has been there for me outside of office hours beyond her call of duty. Dr. OConnell is a jovial breath of fresh air and so caring and diligent. And of course, the OG (original gangster) Dr. Kaufman, whom my best friend (Alyssa) had me see in the old days of the practice is always a delight to run into. The nurses -- Joan (ask about her hedgehogs), Marysol -- theyre basically like family to us now. In fact, every year, my whole family comes at once for our group full body skin exams all boisterous and loud -- and the practice actually seems to ENJOY it! These guys are form AND function -- my face/body belongs to them!!

Excellent place to take care of your skin. Ive been coming here since November 2018 to apply Botox on my frown lines and the results are great. Dr. Dosal has very well manners, professional and knowledgeable. She also took off a sun spot from my cheek with lightning laser technique and was awesome, no pain at all. The office is big, clean and the staff always kind. For sure, I reccomend this place. Thank you Dr.Dosal!

Outstanding service. From the moment I walked in the whole appointment was seamless I was welcomed by the friendly staff at the front desk and was taken back immediately with the nurse who was one of the nicest people I have dealt with at a doctors office. I worked with Dr. Kruter who was kind, patient, and took her time explaining and answering all my questions. I cannot recommend Skin & Associates especially Dr. Kruter enough they were fantastic.
