Cancer is a word that no one wants to hear. When they told me my biopsy came back positive, some fear set in. My fears were eased when the nursing staff made my appointment for the surgery. On the day of my surgery, Dr Wasserman marked the area and explained the full procedure. After I got home, I received a call several hours later inquiring as to how I was feeling. It felt good getting that call.This was a good experience and I highly recommend Skin Wellness Physicians.

I have depended on Skin Wellness Physicians for over a decade. I have used them to remove my skin cancer and keep it from coming back. Then I found out I had excema on my hands and feet. I had no idea where the crazy itch, skin cracking and oozing came from. The insurance system forces patients to start treatments with all kinds of topical treatments but none worked. The last option was injections of costly biologics. But they succeeded in finding a workable solution. I couldn’t live a normal life without it.Dr Wasserman and PA Christina Tremblay have been there to help me manage my issues and restore me to a healthier lifestyle in this aggressive climate of SW Florida. I look forward to my next 6 month checkup.

Frankly I’ve run out of superlatives to describe this dermatology practice. I recently had a very challenging MOHS surgery at Skin Wellness. Dr Wasserman is an extraordinarily skilled clinician, who invariably produces great results. Importantly, he instantly instills confidence in a patient by carefully explaining the procedure and what to expect afterwards. The rest of his team is outstanding as well, everyone from the intake staff at reception to the nursing assistants and especially Luis, Dr Wasserman’s physician assistant, who brings his unique skill and compassion to every patient. I always like to acknowledge great service, good work and great value. I just finished my semianual skin cancer screening. When I went on medicare years ago I check to see if it covered routine skin cancer screening. It does. My Primary Care Physician refered me to Dr. Anne Marie Tremaine, just down the road about 2 miles at Skin Wellness for my first exam. Over the past several years she found two areas of Basal Cell. One required Mohs surgery - done by Dr. Wassermann. The other she took care of in the office. My point in all this is to suggest that it is easy, efficient and painless to get screened. Today I had my regular six month checkup at Skin Wellness with Dr. Anne Marie Tremaine. My appointment was @ 8:15 AM and I arrived a few minutes early, checked in with the receptionist and given a paper to fill out. Upon completion of the paperwork I called in by Rochelle to go to the examination at 8:15. She was very thorough and asked if I had any concerns for them to address and that I was to change and put on a gown and that Dr. Tremaine would be in shortly. Rochelle was training an assistant at the same time while this was going on. Dr. Tremaine arrived and did her examination, found areas to be treated and did treat those pre-cancerous areas and did a biopsy on a spot on my chest. She is always polite, proficient and professional interacting with me the patient and it is always a pleasant experience for me to be treated here in this medical facility. It seems that her courteous manner and her expertise provides a tremendous example for the employees because I see that replicated by the office staff and the patient technicians. I truly recommend Skin Wellness and Dr. Anne Marie Tremaine if you are seeking a dermatologist because it has been a wonder experience for me for five or six years.

Before Skin Wellness: This was my first time dealing with a diagnosis of basal cell carcinoma. I was given two treatment options: surgery or radiation. The news from my pathology report was delivered by the front office of another dermatologist without explanation or discussion with my then doctor.At Skin Wellness: Because the affected area is my lip, I decided to get a second opinion and look for a MOHS trained surgeon. Dr Wasserman was recommended by a friend. My second consult was a perfect doctor-patient discussion. He spent time to describe the pathology report results, discuss five treatment options and logically narrow down the options to arrive at the best treatment for me.The staff is friendly and efficient. The office is 6 minutes from home. I am so relieved to finally have found the best dermatology clinic to deal with my current issue and any identified down the road.

I went to skin Wellness Physicians 7/22 for a unrelated issue and was very lucky to get Sidney Tateo because while talking with her she noticed a small spot on my face and asked me how long that was there and i told her a few years. She told me on my next visit she wanted to remove it and have it tested. And also found another spot on my chest.On my next visit i found it was Basel cell skin cancer and had to have it removed.On my next visit to have it removed I had DR Daniel Wasserman perform a mohs procedure on my face and successfully removed the cancer. I was very impressed with how well it went and when I removed the bandage couldnt believe how perfect the incision looked I can tell when it completely heals it will be very hard to see amazing. It is a great feeling to know that if I ever have a problem I dont have to travel hours we have great skin care professionals right here in south Florida . My family has a history of these skin cancers & now that I am older, Ive learned to always wear sunscreen & I no longer worship the sun, lol! I had my first one removed when I was much younger & I had a different Dr back then & she did a fantastic job! I was worried when I noticed another one appear about 15 yrs later & I couldnt find her anymore, fortunately for me, my good friend told me about this place & I gave them a try & I will be staying with them from now on! Since I had great success with the removal of my skin cancers, Ive since also had a very kind young lady ( forgot name, sorry) help me with lightning some dark spots I had. I have been a patient of Dr. Wasserman for 6 years and nothing but great things to say about him. Extremely professional, and does a thorough body evaluation. When he does see something suspicious, he does a biopsy, and lets you know the results. He has done a great job in removing some the pre-cancerous growths that happen to us down here in the Florida sun. His staff is very professional.

I had a spot on my face for many years & finally got it checked. It ended up being basal carcinoma and needed to be removed. This spot is under my eye and close to my nose, so the thought scared me. Surgery day came and I was very scared and the office staff, nurses and Dr. Wasserman were phenomenal. So caring and walked me through it, just in awe of how I was treated. The incision, WOW! I was expecting what I saw on the internet and what other people I have seen. Nope, it looks really good so far and it’s only the beginning.

Dr. Wasserman has done a Mohs procedure on my lower lip and upper forehead. The Lip has healed nicely and looks great, Forehead is healing and looks like it will also be great. All Skin Wellness staff have been fantastic.
