I’m sure I had a little spring in my step when walking into the Woodruff office, but this is the way you act knowing you have someone “extremely” qualified providing care. It’s like showing up for flag football and finding out Tom Brady‘s on your team.The ladies checking people in were friendly and efficient. They also provided sufficient empathy for the first-time paperwork process and local luncheon recommendations.Walking into the procedure room was a religious experience in itself. The lighting was incredible. Felt like traversing into the afterlife.Dr. Lambert quickly talked me into a scrape and cauterization rather than excision with stitches. I was thrilled and out of there in no time.I was immensely pleased with the entire experience. The only blemish was when Dr. Lambert showed me the chest photo of the lesion prior biopsy. My first reaction was, “Wow, and I think of myself as skinny.”

Dr. Jaclyn Smith changed my life.I have suffered with scalp psoriasis off and on for many years. The last three years were the worst. I have used many solutions, shampoos and creams prescribed by other dermatologists, but none were very effective, and my previous dermatologists didn’t offer much hope or enthusiasm. Patients with severe scalp psoriasis know the constant intense itching and the embarrassing white flakes all over our clothing.I am so grateful to Dr. Smith. She is different from all of the other dermatologists I have seen over the years. I could tell she really cared about me and was determined to help me. She comes from a family of dermatologists, so perhaps she comes by that skill naturally. She’s smart, extremely kind, caring and personable. Dr. Smith is also very knowledgeable about the latest medicines available.After trying less costly medicines, Dr. Smith prescribed Taltz injections, and I felt relief within two weeks. I have been symptom-free for the last four months and I feel like a new person.Dr. Smith is multi-talented. She also diagnosed a small skin cancer on my husband’s arm. She offered my husband the option to have a plastic surgeon remove the skin cancer, but he said he trusted Dr. Smith to do a good job. She did an awesome job. He has a tiny hairline scar on his arm that you have to search to find.My husband is a retired dentist who devoted 35 years of his life to his patients, so his standards are very high when it comes to patient care. He is most impressed by Dr. Smith for all of her talent and expertise.We live in Bonita Bay, and we have to drive past a lot of dermatology offices to get to the Woodruff Institute in downtown Naples, but we both consider the drive worth it to be patients of Dr. Jaclyn Smith. We refer her to all of our family and friends, and we plan to be life-long patients!

I recently changed dermatologist and Jennifer Rice at the Woodruff institute on 3rd ave in Naples came highly recommended. When i arrived i was greeted by the friendlist staff and walked into a beautiful office. I felt like i was at a spa and not a doctors office. I was seen for a full body check and i had a couple issuea i wanted d to discuss. Jennifer was fantastic she was thorough with her check she was professional, listened and was so easy to talk to. Once she completed the body check i discussed the issuea. She was compassionate, caring and listened to everything I had to say. She worked out a plan with me and she promised to follow up. To my absolute surprise she called me about 10 mins after i left the office to let me know the information she had found and had a solution for me! I was complaining blown away. Never have I experienced this with any doctor. I would highly recommend not only The Woodruff institute but Jennifer Rice. She will take your care to the next level. She is completely outstanding. Do not delay make the appointment and see Jennifer.

I had an appointment with one of the dermatologists at Woodruff Institute. I called to confirm and found that she was going to be on Vanderbilt Beach Rd. on a certain date - so I canceled my appointment in the Fifth Avenue area and made it for Vanderbilt Beach - My appointment was CANCELLED and a new one made on Vanderbilt on a different day - THEN I received something in the mail saying that I had not cancelled my appointment along with a phone call telling me the same - and the attitude of shame on you for not cancelling your appointment. I made it clear to him what the process was but his attitude did not change. THEN - another appointment was following that for a month checkup - the dr. was not going to be in the day the appointment was made at my initial visit - SO - I made another appointment and the first one I THOUGHT was cancelled. THEN - I received another letter saying that if I cancelled one more time I would be charged $100.00 cancellation fee. Maybe they better have a better system so the people sending these letters and phone calls know what the front office people or people on phones are really doing. I did not make another appointment but I will because I do like my Dr. and I will now drive to 5h Avenue area as that is where she is going to be permanently now.They really grew quickly from the one office Dr.Lambert and Dr.Lambert initially starting many years ago and I have been their patient all along. But - maybe too quickly as they have many offices now - and have not been able to book with Dr. (Mrs.) Lambert for years. She was wonderful and I always knew or her education and experience that she was the very best Naples could have.

The professionalism and skillfulness of the doctors I have been treated by, most notably my dermatologist, Dr. Hernandez, and the Mohs surgeons, Dr. Lambert and Dr. Russell, is the best I have ever received. All of the staff goes lengths to care for their patients and everyone is treated with kindness and respect. I cannot imagine a better dermatologic practice anywhere.

On 9/14/22, Having a continuing scalp issue & contacting Woodruff to refill Keto shampoo & order a discusssd keto lotion for my skin on my head...I had the privilege of Nancy answering the phone at an office away from the main... she went over all my derm medications, there purposes, and suggested the idea of another that she and her husband had much success with.Nancy contacted my doctor, Dr Hernandez.(who is also, and always has been, an amazing dermatological expert with a very warm bedside manner... she calmly assists and explains any issues) to discuss a personal idea & success story and wanted to share that with me, the patient. Nancy talked with me, went to Dr Hernandez, called me back, explained her familys story and success, then explained the new idea and treatment. After an ok from me, Nancy spoke with the doctor and pushed it thru the system. It was ordered, insurance was checked and Im currently waiting for the medicine by mail. The over and above professionalism and friendliness of Nancy, from Chicago, was unexpected, not sought after & pleasantly explained. I was impressed at Nancys almost over-eagerness to help. I, a patient, have gained a friend and discovered a professional employee that went way over and above the job description to answer all my questions.I will continue to utilize Woodruff Institute with my derm needs and will share Nancys smile everytime I walk into that practice.Thank you Nancy.
