    I absolutely loved my visit here! All of the students were friendly, eager to help each other out, and the instructors were very professional. Jordan did an AMAZING job on my hair! The atmosphere was relaxed without being lazy and the building was very clean. Will definitely be coming back for future hair care!

    The student Jessica was amazing very professional, and the teacher in there is amazing. I did the European facial, and also an under arm wax They are blessed to have him. As far as the teacher in cosmetology, her name is Christy. She is definitely a go out of the school very unprofessional with clients and that attitude got to go ❤️ if she needs to take classes for customer service, I am willing to teach for free

    Came in last week for the first time with my son for a haircut. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by smiling faces, very welcoming. Next this young man came to get my son for his appointment his name was Artist. Sitting back and watching him take his time making sure everything was done right consulting with the teacher and them both cutting my sons hair was great. The way the teacher explained things to the student and showed him was awesome to observe. I was very pleased with his haircut and the overall learning atmosphere as I sat patiently observing. We will definitely be coming back!! Thank you all!

    Every time i go in for dye/haircuts, Becca and Krys do an amazing job. They always listen and give me the best hair experience 100% of the time. I also appreciate the administrator Jamie, for keeping everyone (including the small children that come in occasionally) comfortable. another client made a huge scene in front of everyone, but Jamie was really professional throughout it all and it makes me feel like i can bring my small niece here. I feel bad for them having to deal with upset clients, but theyre angels.

    I went to the Academy for a Special Day with my granddaughters. We always do do a fun day together when I’m in town from Green Bay Wisconsin. The girls at the Academy are amazing. They are very sweet, but most of all professional. We were a group ranging in age from 69, 16, 13, 12 and 7 all wanting A Pedicure and Manicure. We are thrilled with the service we received. A special thank you to their instructor, Miss Dena. She can be proud of her team. We will definitely come back in August when I’m back in town.

    I have always been very pleased with all services i have received there! I visited today and am extremely pleased with everything again! My student was Hannah. She was just awesome! I couldnt be more pleased with my hair! Another student Julie also helped with my hair, she was wonderful too! Both girls will be awesome cosmetologists! I will be most happy to return to either of them for any services. The instructors are wonderful, and friendly!

    Took my mom for a wash and cut and Ke’ja was amazing. She was actually training as a barber but I was very impressed with her manner and professionalism. My mom absolutely adored her and wanted another appointment for highlights, which we will be doing later this week. All the staff was very friendly and supportive of Ke’ja as she cut my moms hair, it was a first for her doing my moms hair type. My mom is very happy with her hair and Ke’ja, we will definitely continue to support the Academy

    I am a student and I am loving it so much! My enrollment process was so wonderful and all of the office staff especially Ms. Rachel was so helpful and kind. Ms. Nancy is such a patient teacher and she always makes sure we understand what we are learning! She answers any questions thoroughly and she cares for her students and our clients. I truly love people and I have a passion for helping others and I want to make a difference in peoples lives. I know I am receiving a wonderful start here!

    I graduated in June 2019 with my full specialist license. I drive an hour each way 5 days a week and worked nights. It was a struggle many days. I was so tired. Many days I wanted to just throw in the towel and say forget it. But it was always my dream to do nails. I had support from friends and family. But what surprised me the most was the support from the school! Not just the classmates that I became friends with but the staff! Mrs Nancy was always there to help and keep pushing me. She taught me so much. More than just what was in a book. She kept things interesting. Shes so full of life! Mrs Rachel and Mrs Linda were always there to cheer me on. They were always so nice and they genuinely cared. They actually took time out to ask how I was doing. When they knew I needed more study time instead of hands on they let me study book work before my hours were up. I couldnt have asked for a better experience! Im glad I kept pushing and didnt give up.

    Recommend anyone to go here for cuts. Their cuts are done very well. “Lava” will most definitely get you looking right. He knows how to get things done for sure.

    I wanted to take a moment and leave a review of my 1st experience at the American Academy of Cosmetology. I am not a hair care professional but grew up in a family of them and can tell when a stylist has, The Stuff, you know that noticeable passion, that work ethic, that thing that the MOST driven professionals have that sets them apart from everyone else. I had the pleasure to experience all these things this past Wednesday. Honestly Im picky about who I let , service, my hair. My talented designer and friend Jenny John (Hair Goddess) is an instructor for this school and I offered to let her use me in a demo for her class. She gave her students the opportunity to work on my hair under her expert guidance. It was an AMAZING, PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE!!! I HAVE to give recognition to 2 students that were especially engaged and eager to learn about High Fashion Color. Im so impressed with these talented women. Bre and Hannah Im so impressed you ladies. You did an amazing job and Jenny John, I can never say enough amazing things about her She is a true expert in this Industry that Im happy to follow anywhere. All around amazing experience and hope Im lucky enough to let these ladies perform hair magic again in the future. To the owner, you have some amazing students, not just the ones that worked on me but an observation I noticed them working on other things and had the pleasure to speak with them. This is the way learning should be, Fun, FUN, FUNNNNN!!!!!

    This s a great school that takes time to work with their students and customers.They have worked hard to creat a student environment that is productive. I find it interesting that some of the low rated reviews are students that would not follow basic rules and created a hostile environment!Good on AAC for standing up for the students that deserve to be there!

    I had an amazing experience here. I asked Brooke for highlights and got exactly what i wanted. She did an amazing job & i’m so happy with the outcome. I would have paid twice the money to get this done again. If you want gorgeous highlights, go to Brooke Green!! You won’t regret it!! 😍❤️

    2-23-21 I went in the store around 5:30pm The Manager Hannah was really cool as hell! she took care of me with no problem! asked me what hairstyle i like to have, and helped me with haircut style knowledge and there was a nice older gentleman Barber name Bobby! He is the Coolest and best barber there he is a really great friendly person, and has a great mind of life! as well we spoke about Harleys n My Electric bike including many convos. it took about a Hour n half with him Reason? he want to make sure you look really nice and Fresh AF! Very Safe & Trustworthy Barber, He cares about his clients!! 100000000% Rating Extremely Excellent!!UPDATE!!!!!!! MARCH 9th 2021 11:55pm3-9-2021I went back AGAIN for another haircut!!! Because why not!! and the haircut was awesome as hell!! people really liked it a lot and asked me where i got it from! i told em. i went to THIS PLACE: American Academy of Cosmetology! 2 people over there took care of me named Hannah and Bobby!! Hannah is the Haircut Instructor Stylesist! she will ask what you like and makes sure that what you want! Bobby the Barber is my Barber my favorite barber i went to for the haircut!!! But Anywayz!Around 7:30pm - 9pm the Store was kinda packed today!!! everyone in the store is cool including customers and i seen my Favorite Barber!!! Bobby the Barber!!!! He was happy to see me i made that guys day!! Like i said 2 weeks ago HE Takes cares of his Clients/Friends very well! i consider this dude a real good friend of mine! He asked me how my day was and everything i replied back and asked how he was. I got the same haircut style and it took about 45 mins at most. Again Bobby wants to make sure you look nice and good for whatever event you got! wedding, Partys, anything. Bobby takes care of you!!! I also Brought over my Dad to Bobby the Barber and he took care of my dad with no problem whatsoever! my dad even said he is a great good barber and had a great time talking with him!!!!! Somebody give Bobby the Barber a medal of being freaking awesome!!!! i will always come back every 2 or 4 weeks on tuesday to see homie!

    This is a great school with great instructors. I recently graduated AAC a few weeks ago. Ms. Carla has given the school structure and a place you love coming to everyday. A week after graduating I passed my state board on my first try!!! Great school and amazing staff!!!!

    I am a transfer student from a school down the street, AAC welcomed myself and other students with open arms. I admire how attentive and helpful the staff is, just like in a professional salon everyone is treated with respect and fairness. You do your part and the staff will do theirs. Great school, the 5 star rating speaks for itself!

    I am very impressed with Brookes ability to complete a full sew-in without closure and her teachers (Ms. Wrights) expert guidance. Shot out to Tanisha (sp?) for her POSITIVE encouragement and vibe that enabled Brooke to stay focused and on task doing this colored girls hair!!! Very satisfied but moreso impressed!

    I am in the full specialty program now . I wanted to say that Rachael is very sweet. She has a warming personality that feels “ welcoming” and actually makes you want to attend the school even more. If everyone had a personality such as hers... it would be a even better atmosphere, not to say that it’s not already ok or that anyone else’s personality is bad.... It’s just that hers stands out to me the most and any questions that I have asked or concerns pertaining to my enrollment or scheduling, she helped me with. As far as anything else, I would just say try to stay focused..don’t let no one try to discourage you or tell you what you can’t do because this is YOUR LIFE AND MONEY 😴... and do whatever you need to in order to graduate so you can pursue whatever it is that your heart desires... Everything is a learning process.
