Struggled to get a really good haircut for my 13 year old since our move from CO out East. Trying to grow back out part of his hair that was cut off earlier this summer on accident in another state and have been in a funky “in between” stage.Spent a week traveling in Orlando and decided to give this location a try - they are amazing!!!!!!My son was cleaned up really well and the haircut set up so his hair can continue to grow out on top. They did SUCH a fantastic job!!The only complaint is that we don’t live in Orlando (15 hour drive for us) to come back here regularly as this is the absolute dream barber shop fit for my son!Thank you SO very very much for the excellent and professional job done!This location is so well decorated and maintained it is extremely clean and tasteful. These guys know what they’re doing!

Since day one, I’ve had nothing but good visits here. Always timely manner and communicate as well. A barbershop is a man’s best friend. And I’ve always used Melo from my first visit on. I also get a comedian and good laughs during my cuts. Never fails to make sure his clients feel welcomed and leave smiling. Not only that, but the other barbers as well join in on jokes. It’s pretty much a chat lounge with a cut. Melo’s shop is the place to be.

FYI though men may be featured in most of their photos, Melo’s can assist ANYONE in achieving a fantastic look! I was happy to see color, facial waxing, and styling services can be booked as well! It can get super busy so I would recommend making an appointment. I love the fact that I can make an appointment through Instagram...how convenient! Who knew this amazing place was next to my apartment?! I’m extremely happy with my cut and will definitely be returning! In town for a week and inquired with my AMEX concierge for a hair cut and beard trim in the area. They sent 4 recommenced places and after reviewing google reviews I picked this one. I am ecstatic with the outcome.Probably the cleanest haircut and beard trim I’ve ever had. I had the beard colored too which they didn’t normally do, as I washed it out at the hotel, but no cause for concern as he walked me through the process before I left. The straight blade and scissors fade and style of my hair and beard is the best I’ve ever had. I wanted to be cleaned up and am very pleased. I wish there was a shop like this back home. Everyone was nice and the owner was very welcoming. Excellent choice of music. Every chair was full when I arrived so I was happy that I made an appointment.I’m always worried about getting my hair cut while out of town but this place is incredible. Not only was the guy who cut my hair, Lorenzo, absolutely professional at what he does, everyone else cutting looked like they were on point, so you won’t have to worry about being stuck with a “bad barber” if you’re visiting from out of town. My kiddo needed a haircut as school picture day was approaching. I had read some great reviews about Melos and received a few recommendations. I was hesitant about going to a new place before picture day but made an appointment for Saturday morning. Upon entering, I was quickly greeted which is unusual for many barber shops. I was informed that Salal, the barber, would be right with us. Salal was friendly and welcoming. I explained what I wanted for my kiddo and within minutes my kiddo had an awesome haircut. Salal did a great job! My son absolutely loved the experience and the haircut. He also loved those fancy chairs, ha! Now for the barber shop itself. The location is great with plenty of parking. I loved the old school vibe of the place. Their Barbers pole rocks! The shop is CLEAN, pleasant, relaxing and very open. There is plenty of seating available. The music was kid friendly which I definitely appreciate. The lady at checkout was friendly and prompt. My husband was very impressed with Melos Barber Shop which is unusual for him😁. I will definitely be bringing all of my boys to Melos.

I literally gave him no directions, she showed him a picture, end result is I looked amazing.After that was a face massage and a straight razor shave. Pro tip, Melo, if youre listening. When someones doing a straight razor shave for the first time, dont switch to Christmas music right when the blade touches skin. It was November, I wasnt ready for that. Obviously, Jeremy is very blade-conscientious. Amazing shave.Now, the reason for me giving 4 stars instead of five or more is the later visits. (Not with Jeremy) I dont remember the second guys name, but I was just there for a haircut. It was fine, he was proficient, everyone left happy.The third time, I got some guy that I can only assume Melo is helping out. I showed up, and he had to be enticed off his phone and the couch. From there, it was a rough interrogation. First answer shouldnt have to be a haircut. Second, its not my job to know settings, clipper numbers, et al. Its only been a few weeks; just do what I have, but shorter. Asking me so many questions when Ive been coming to your company for the last two haircuts since November really made me nervous, and it was the haircut I was happiest to just get out of the chair for.I guess the TL;DR is Jeremy is awesome, and definitely request him. Ive never looked better and seen my wife so happy after a haircut.
