    Every time I go to get my eyebrows sugared, I feel like it’s a spa day. All of the staff is exceptionally nice and accommodating, beautiful atmosphere, and even just for eyebrows they have you lie down on a comfy bed and use the best products! Love Mama Bare ❤️

    I switch from hot wax method to sugaring with Mama Bare about two years ago and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made for my skin. I recently booked an appointment with Brittany and she is hands down one of the best hair removal specialists I’ve ever seen. Not only her techniques are amazing. But she also really cares about her job and is passionate about it too. She makes you feel so comfortable, gives you tons of skin care knowledge that I’m just learning about at 35 years old, and is really cool to talk to. Everyone at Mama Bare is super nice and the facility is very clean and well kept. Highly recommend!

    Brittany is the absolute best! She is experienced, knowledgable, and inspiring person. Her experience shows because it was by far the best hair removal of any kind, not just sugaring, I’ve ever had. She made me feel comfortable and I honestly almost forgot she was removing hair because she was so cool to talk too. And at almost 32 years old I can’t believe I’m just now learning some of the things she taught me today. She wants you to leave more than just hair free but also with the information to take the best care of your bare skin. She is definitely my go to now for sugaring.

    I had my first experience with MamaBare on Friday and it exceeded my expectations. I was SO nervous and from the moment I walked in my nerves started to subside. The receptionist was very warm and welcoming and even offered me a glass of wine (which I happily accepted). My appointment was with Elisha and she was fabulous. She was very knowledgeable and talked to me the entire time which I really appreciated. She thoroughly explained the process and aftercare so I left feeling very confident.     Ive been to Mama Bear Studio before but its been a hot minute. I tried someone new today and she was AMAZING! BRITTANY V is by far the best sugaring specialist Ive seen. She was thorough and as gentle as she could possibly be. She asked how I was throughout the process and made light conversation which was a nice distraction.     I had a brazilian sugaring appointment with Brittany! I found this place on Groupon and they had a great deal, and good reviews so I figured I’d give it a shot. Brittany was professional, funny, and made the experience so comfortable for me, as it was my first time! She explained everything and was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what she does.     Hair, skin, and nail care are important to me. Incl the hair down there! After years of loving my razor I really wanted to see if sugaring was as good as the hype was being made out as. Their IG had really good friendly and inviting skits that gave me insight into the experience and made me comfortable to bare all and try it out. My first visit went better than I could have understood before. I got a Brazilian and everything was like a soft peach all the way up to my 5 week mark when I scheduled my follow up, even tho there was some regrowth it was still soft and comfortable.The removal took over 30mins and we had to take some breathers in between some pulls. But I had 0 pain afterwards. Any left over hairs that hadnt pulled full out were taken out meticulously using tweezers.Unfortunately none the same could be said for my followup. I decided to maybe try a different location for a few reasons after a bad f/u appt but had no intention to return to the OB location. Therefore I left a 3 star review detailing the unsatisfactory experience. I didnt expect much if any feedback but the manager got in touch with me and went above and beyond to commit to her personal promise to get me back in for a 5 star experience, including gifting the sugaring session. Just as the first experience, this make-up session was up to expectation, and afterwards I booked another f/u appt for my Brazilian as well as an appt for underarms --- trying something new. I am very grateful for a renewed relationship with the salon and the open communication between the manager and director to ensure I felt comfortable being able to benefit from services at the OB location, which just happens to be in my neighborhood.

    I just had my first sugaring service with Jelisa at the Ormond Beach studio and Im so pleased (and relieved!) by how smooth and comfortable the process was! Having had a bad waxing experience in the past, I was apprehensive about both the awkwardness of intimate hair removal and the discomfort and potential skin inflammation Id previously experienced. MamaBare and Jelisa wiped out those anxieties with a great experience, patience, and collaboration on my preferences and needs. The actual sugaring process was SIGNIFICANTLY less painful than waxing and theres absolutely no inflammation or discomfort one hour after leaving the studio! I look natural and neatly groomed, which is what I wanted. I absolutely look forward to my next session without any apprehension...and Im very likely going to schedule additional services. I would highly recommend MamaBare and sugaring (over waxing).

    I absolutely love Mamabare Sugaring! I’ve been to both the lake Mary and Ormond location. Both are clean and cute, the staff is excellent and welcoming. I specifically love going back to Ormond to see Morgyn! She is personable and a great conversationalist. She makes what can be an uncomfortable process as quick and painless as possible, while also being efficient and doing a perfect job, never leaving a stray hair.     I can honestly say I like going here. It’s clean, the staff is very professional and they offer a great atmosphere. However, I was a little turned off at the end of my second visit when I was charged a $12 fee for rescheduling my last two appointments. I don’t mind paying a fee for rescheduling I just felt it was a bit much. I could understand if I was a no call no show or canceled all together but that was never the case. I called every single time. Sometimes things can happen and my days aren’t always predictable.. For the sugaring itself it was $50, plus a $12 fee, plus a tip for the sweet girl who did my sugaring. So I came out paying around $70 which I hadn’t budgeted for. I would still like to continue getting waxed there I just won’t schedule anything in advance.

    I have heard that sugaring is less painful than waxing, and let me tell you… It is! Significantly less painful, in my opinion. Kayla was fantastic, kept me distracted and was very thorough even going back with tweezers after to make sure I was happy. She went out of her way to add in a service for me, which I really appreciate it as well.Note: sugaring mixture is not warm, it’s actually more cool, don’t knock it till you try it! Sky took amazing care of me, talked me through the whole process and made sure I was completely comfortable. They were quick and efficient! If you are thinking of being sugared, DO IT!
