    I recently had my hair cut and colored by Trinity at MOSS and I am extremely satisfied. Trinity took her time to listen to what I was looking for. At no point did I feel rushed through my appointment. Trinity took her time to color match my dark roots and she did a multi step process on my entire head to color correct brassy blondes. She is genuine and was kind and easy to talk to. She is an artist and amazing at her craft. I will definitely be booking my next appointment with her and highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a professional and qualified hair stylist.

    I love this place! The atmosphere is totally relaxing, clean and conveniently located in Palm Coast. Kara was my stylist and she did an amazing job! She is friendly, professional and paid attention to detail. All of the other staff members I met were very friendly also. I want to go back just to hang out! I am so happy to have found MOSS! I highly recommend it!!!

    Came to Palm Coast to visit my parents and found my new favorite hair person. She goes out of her way to text you before to make sure you are on the same page. But the follow through and results beyond impressive. Even touching up after drying and styling. She does it with such kindness and ease that she puts you at ease to communicate to her. Highly recommend Trinity for cut and color.

    I love the new look of Moss. Its inviting and everyones kind. Maddy is exceptionally skilled in coloring. No matter how you feel going in Maddy will make sure you look and feel amazing. She is detailed and careful. She explains the process throughout and provides thorough direction for post hair care. Which is very important for curly hair!

    After calling and explaining my situation I was scheduled with Rebecca. (She takes care of most of the men’s haircuts) I was nervous to let anyone cut my long hair because my last experience at a different salon was not good.After a few minutes I could tell that Rebecca clearly has the skill, knowledge, and experience to cut all types of hair. (15+ years experience) I’ll be back every 3-4 months for a cut as long as she’s working here.Thanks!

    Lindsey Crosby is a hair genius! She absolutely nailed my hair the very first time, when I came in as a damaged color correction. She spent 6 hours taking careful placement and 3 different levels of developer with bleach to apply as needed on every strand of my hair. The attention to detail., The personability and care that she gave in the chair & follow up on her personal time, are The quality that you can expect from her every time you sit with her. I will never see anyone else as long as I can stay a client with Lindsey, she literally saved my hair !

    When I moved here I was determined to find a salon that could get my blonde color. I sent my husband on a scavenger hunt. He walked into MOSS and was greeted with nothing but smiles and kindness.     MOSH is the best! Once you walk in you meet the staff with greeting smiles. I got my hair straightened and was skeptic about it initially until Amanda helped me out. She is a very nice person to talk to and very down to earth. Rachel was my stylist, she is lovely and has a charming smile. She was very patient with my hair(my hair was all frizzy) and I loved the conversation with her. When got out of this salon with my new straightened hair, I just loved loved myself. I got so many compliments as well. Love this salon and the service.

    Just got my hair colored and cut today with Jaye. She is absolutely the best hair stylist that has done my hair. She is so good with color, I cannot say enough how creative and professional she is. I’ve gone to many different stylists and just felt “ok” about the cut and color. This is the second time I’ve seen her and am totally in love with my hair! The last cut grew in so great, as she gives a great cut! The salon is beautiful, they use all organic products. I must say, with the color used on my hair, my hair never felt or looked so good and really lasted. They use awesome products and they staff are really nice people! If you’re looking for a great salon, this is definitely worth checking out!

    Love coming here! Heather Nelson does a great job with my highlights and cuts and always takes pride in her work. She listens to what you want and combines it with what would look best for your hair type and coloring. The new owner is great. The atmosphere is relaxing and clean. Other stylists there are friendly and talented. They have a great selection of products to purchase if you want as well. Highly recommend MOSS and Heather!

    If you are looking for organic products that are good for you and the environment and a salon without the strong smell of chemicals then this is the place to go! I always go to Amanda but, have occasionally seen other stylists when I need to get in quick! Amanda takes her time to make sure your hair is perfect and is a super nice person! I have always been 100% thrilled with my cut and highlight! They all do a fabulous job and make you feel comfortable and relaxed! I have always loved everything about Amanda and everyone at MOSS. I always get compliments on the color and cut of my hair and do not hesitate to refer MOSS to others. I can honestly say that the stylists at MOSS are the absolute best!!!! A Flagler County gem.

    Florida’s gain is my loss! Lee Ann was my stylist for well over a decade! Her cutting, styling, and dyeing skills are superb. Lee Ann always gave me what I wanted and had expert advice for me whenever I had questions. She goes above and beyond to accommodate her clients. I always left my appointment feeling great and happy with my hair. Lee Ann also did the styles for my daughter in law and the bridal party.....beyond beautiful. She is amazing and a sweetheart. I highly recommend her to anyone! I miss her already!!!

    I recently moved to Palm Coast and found MOSS Salon through Google. I called them a few weeks ago after reading several reviews and spoke to the owner to explain the services I was seeking and the needs I had. After listening intently to me, she felt that Rachael would be a best fit for me. The primary reason is that I have Donna Bella kera link fusion hair extensions and needed a stylist who had experience working around them when coloring and glazing hair. I shared my formula and directions from my prior stylist ahead of time so that Rachael would be prepped for my appointment. I could not have been more pleased with my entire experience upon arriving at the salon. They are COVID-ready and safety was their #1 priority. The salon was pretty, clean, and had a calming and spa like environment. Rachael greeted me in the parking lot and was extremely nice, cordial and understanding when I arrived about 10 min late due to traffic. Rachael did an excellent job on my hair color, my glaze and my color looked incredible after she was done. She was personable, professional and I immediately felt comfortable and at ease with her. Their pricing is competitive and I love the fact that they’re organic and doing what they can to help the environment. Overall, I had an exceptional experience and I do believe I’ve found my new forever salon in Palm Coast. The owner even called me over the weekend to ask how everything went. I’ve booked an appointment with Rachael for my husbands hair cut and I’m certain he will be in excellent hands with her. A+++ service and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a salon in Palm Coast. It’s a hidden gem!

    I just moved to the area and have been looking for a salon. I found MOSS and saw it had amazing reviews. I had to try it out- I had the absolute best experience with Rachael today! She was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely personable. I’m pretty picky with my blonde highlights but she produced EXACTLY what I was looking for…and her scalp massages were definitely the cherry on top! I’m happy to have found my new go-to girl!

    I am so thankful that I went to Modern Organic Hair Salon and met Lindsey! She is such an angel and an even more talented artist!! She did such an amazing job doing a bayalange on my hair. As this was my first time, I was super excited yet nervous, but she exceeded my expectations!! I look and feel so beautiful now! I definitely found somewhere that I can trust and will be a new regular. Modern Organic Hair Salon has such pure products and I really feel safe adding these products & colors in my hair... the smell of these products is simply wonderful!!     Where do I start? I have NEVER been to a salon with this much talent! When we moved here from Montana last year, I got my hair done by a stylist that completely messed it up. Rachel not only fixed it, but the extensions she put in made me feel so incredibly beautiful. She listened and is so incredibly kind. Then there’s Annie. I’ve never had lash extensions before and she did such a great job. Also, she did a wonderful makeup tutorial as I’ve never been good at makeup application. These two women have literally changed my life. My self esteem was almost non-existent and now I have more confidence than I’ve had in a long time. Thank you Rachel, Annie and MOSS from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

    UPDATE: Three years later, I am still a MOSS customer with Heather. I trust her completely with styling my very thick coarse hair, which has its own set of challenges. Her cutting techniques are amazing! Their newer color line is awesome, and I feel very comfortable with their COVID precautions. PREVIOUS: Im trying to go more organic in my life, so I decided to try a less toxic approach to my hair coloring. What a nice surprise to find that the color techniques used in this salon do NOT smell, burn or anything like that. Then I wanted to see how it would hold over the next 4 weeks. Honestly, I was totally impressed with the natural highlights and softness as well as not fading out. Along with a great cut and some unexpected pampering from Marilyn, the total bill was less than I have paid elsewhere. I will be a regular at MOSS!

    This was my second visit at MOSS coming from the Sunshine Coast, Australia. I am very impressed with the Salon decor and the organic products used. Rachael was my stylist and I must say that she has done an excellent job on my hair. She has a particular style of cutting hair which I have never seen before, but the end result was perfect.     I went in today for a girls day with my Mom. I had previously gotten my hair cut and colored at another salon and it was not what I wanted at all (was going for ash blonde and came out a red head). They fixed the cut and the color came out amazing! No chemical smell that you usually get at a salon since they use all organic products. They really take their time with each client. They do a thorough consult and are very caring, friendly, and talented. The prices are very reasonable and they have a great website. I was offered coffee, tea, and water. My mom just had a cut and had to wait for me to get the color done, so she ended up getting a facial and LOVED it! We both agree that this is the best salon in Palm Coast and will be going back for all of our beauty needs! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

    Lee Ann has done my hair in NH for two years and I am going to miss her dearly. She knows how to cut just the way you want and she does such a great job with the color.     I am getting ready to make my first follow up appointment. Thats how pleased I am with my new cut and style from MOSS Salon.I took in a photo of a hair style I wanted, and Amanda adapted it to my hair and face shape. Rarely am I pleased, especially after going so short, but I certainly am this time. What a difference stylists who know their craft can make.The salon is fresh and clean, no chemical smells, no blaring music or TV. It was a wonderful experience and I cannot wait to go back.

    Lee Ann has been my stylist for over 15 years, and for good reason. Shes an expert at both color and cut, working her magic with every style/color request I made over the years. I have been impressed to see that her talent also spans all ages and genders. Her bridal and prom hair work is always gorgeous, too. As a side note, it was always enjoyable to chat with Lee Ann and catch up with each others lives. NH misses her!

    Love this place! Its super relaxing. Ive had my hair cut by Jamie and Heather, and both do an excellent job! Jamie did my hair and makeup for an event in December and she did an amazing job! Everyone loved my look! I also love that I can make appointments through text at my own convenience.

    I went in for my first facial, and Annie was wonderful! She is very knowledgeable, gentle, and genuinely cares. The facial felt so nice and refreshing, and the massage was very relaxing. There were times that I fell into such a deep relaxation, I felt like I was in a dreamlike state, yet still awake. I recommend 100%. The salon itself is welcoming, and there are many organic products to choose from.

    Rachael Coratti has been doing my hair for a good year now. This lady knows her stuff! She was at a different salon until recently. I love the atmosphere at Moss Salon. The staff is down to earth, genuine and very professional. The salon has a great vibe and the products are amazing. If youre looking for a stylist who has a keen eye for the right cut for your bone structure, who knows just the right color mix to get the results you want and is just a really neat lady, give Rachael a call.     I had very long hair for most of my life & decided that it was time for something different. I avoided haircuts because no one would ever cut it the way that I wanted & I always ended up disappointed & wouldnt go get another haircut for years. Rachel at MOSS is a wonderful stylist that I trust & I am confident will cut my hair exactly the way that I want it. To be honest, I always think she makes my hair look better than whatever picture I bring her & ask her to simulate.     I wouldnt go anywhere else. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Everyone I see walk out of that salon looks amazing and I have only had great experiences here. I get my hair cut and colored regularly as well as my eyebrows waxed from here. I usually see Maddie, and she is wonderful, but I dont think you can go wrong with any of the stylists. They are also well priced for their great talent and professionalism. They make it a great experience. Of all the places in Flagler and Volusia county, this is the best place to go.

    I received a facial and massage from Annie, and it was by far one of the best I have ever received. I’ve gone to numerous places (from Massage Envy to spas at five star resorts) and I’ve never felt more relaxed.Annie was able to work out all of my problem areas during my massage, and gave me recommendations regarding my skin. She even checked-in on me the next day, which I thought was amazing.If you’re in Palm Coast and looking for somewhere to go, I definitely recommend Annie at MOSS. I’ll 100% be going back!

    The salon was beautiful and very clean. They have all organic products giving no harsh chemicals to my hair. Shiva Rimstead was my stylist. She did an amazing job! I have very thick hair and she knew how to handle my hair. Color held nicely and treatment made my hair shiny and soft. Overall, great experience and I will continue to go to Shiva!

Im glad I did, Amanda set me up with Paula who has a lot of experience and knowledge about the styles and the best products for my hair. She listens to what you want and spends time making sure you are happy when you leave. I would highly recommend MOSS for anyone looking for natural products and friendly service.

    I have been going to Modern Organic Salon for a while now, and every time I have had an excellent experience. My last visit was with Marilyn, a new stylist at MOS. After discussing my style preference and looking at pictures on the internet with her she worked her magic. I have never received so many compliments on my hair before, even from people I dont know.     ANSWER TO A PRAYER!!! PAULA WAS FANTASTIC!!!For years I dyed my own hair using Loreal, then all of a sudden, every time I dyed my hair - I felt like I was being scalped alive! My skin and scalp burned and blistered! I looked and felt HORRIBLE! I feared I was never going to be able to dye my hair again!! Oh the horror to live with mousy brown and gray hair!!I then started researching online and Modern Organic Hair Salon popped up! When I called and spoke with Marina - she was so nice and helpful - she even went out of her way to check all the ingredients in her products and reassured me I would be in good hands. SHE WAS RIGHT! I have very long curly hair, and Paula knew exactly what to do! The color came out beautiful and my hair felt healthy and strong! She was GREAT! I did not have ANY reaction at all! I get a verity of facials by Blythe she does exceptional work and will make you feel like you are at home in her care!     I am going back to M.O.S.S. this Saturday for the second time to have my hair cut and styled by Amanda. She does a wonderful job! Really takes her time to get everything just right. I am also having a mani/pedi! The last time I was here I had my hair cut and styled by Amanda and I also had a facial which was fabulous! I love this salon and would highly recommend it.

    Annie: Wow! I have had over a hundred facials at surgical spas, but never one that exercised my face. Annie takes the tradition medical facial and adds a massage that has not only improved the circulation, health and appearance of my skin, but I dare say, within 10 minutes, my whole body feels like it is melting into her warmed table. It is like a vacation. I started off seeing her once a month and recently increased to every three weeks. I get the “Ultra Calming” facial. I am a no frills - no invasive treatment type of customer, but Annie does offer the more intensive treatments like Microdermabrasion and Blading. If so much of my budget this year wasn’t allocated to charitable causes and my weekly body massage, I swear I would be there every week. Next year I might! I first saw Annie as a promotion for regular existing customers at Moss Organic Salon and Spa after it was bought out by new owner. I have had several other facials in this area since we moved her in 2014 and had given up due to inferior services compared to Fort Myers and I would have never tried her if not for the promotion. News flash - Annie is actually better than the medical estheticians I used there. I did read about this kind of facial being given in New York, but here in Palm Coast?Just give Annie a try and you will be stumbling out of her room in a happy, refreshed face and relaxed body!

    Moss is perfect for me. I have ashtma and allergies and never have a reaction there. The salon has a soothing, modern, clean and non stressful environment. My hair color? Everybody thinks its natural. Its condition has never been better from the use of all organic products. I can actually wash and go with my curly, thick, coarse and dry long hair. Any styling I do decide to do is much easier with healthy hair. Who knew? While Amanda does my color, I have seen some awesome haircuts and color corrections by Marilyn. Whenever I am encouraged to try a new product, she doesnt just push it on me, but gives me a sample and just says, try it. Their esthetician, Marina, actually knows what she is doing and I am used to facials at Plastic Surgeon Spas. The pedi/mani facility is nice. I have only heard about Paula as she does not come in the day I am there, but the ladies I have met around town rave about her. The owner is always trying to improve the salon/spa and is very open to useful feedback and suggestions. I am glad I got in when I did because this salon gets busier every season.

    I have been using Organic Color Systems hair color for over five years and it is definitely the best on the market. Prior to OCS I was an Aveda and an occasional Redken person. OCS has better ingredients and produces better results! I love it and was so excited to find MOSS and more excited that they used OCS. Paula is the best. Dont hesitate, make your appointment! Its a great little shop, very relaxing.
